Players contracts...

For all the stick a lot of Spurs fans give Levy, he sure does know how to tie a player down to a long-term contract! Christ. Got to have the least concerning contract lengths in the prem.

Just Michel Vorm really to worry about. Be a real shame to lose him. Unbelievable having a second keeper near on par with the first, especially considering how few games he gets to keep sharp.

we`ll see if he plays in the cup final (or semi),pretty sure that would determine his state of mind??
Hugo played the semi last year, and the league cup final, perhaps we should give vorm a chance vs chelsea!!

I guess the problem here is if Vorm wins a cup and Hugo misses out. Risky business. Personally I'd have Vorm go as far as the FA cup takes us though.

We are delighted to announce that Heung-Min Son has signed a new four-year contract with the Club, which will run until 2025.
The South Korea captain, 29, has scored 107 goals and claimed 64 assists in 280 appearances in all competitions since joining us from Bayer Leverkusen in August, 2015.
‘Sonny’ wrote his in name into Club folklore by scoring the first Premier League and first Champions League goals at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the space of a week in April, 2019. He followed that eight days later by scoring twice in the Champions League quarter-final second leg against Manchester City, another dramatic night on our way to our first Champions League Final.
Sonny’s stunning solo goal against Burnley in the Premier League in December, 2019 - where he ran from just outside our penalty area to score at the other end - attained worldwide acclaim, winning the Puskas Award for the best goal of the year and Premier League Goal of the Season.

He won his third Player of the Month award from the Premier League in October, 2020, and formed a lethal partnership with Harry Kane in 2020/21, their 14 goal combinations a record for a Premier League season. Both players were later named in the PFA Team of the Season.

Six times winner of Best Footballer in Asia, three times AFC Asia International Player of the Year and five times Korean FA Player of the Year, Sonny has been capped 93 times by South Korea, scoring 27 goals, including strikes at the 2014 and 2018 World Cups along with helping his country to win the Asia Games in 2018.
Speaking on the announcement, Fabio Paratici, Managing Director - Football, said: “We are pleased to have agreed a new long-term contract with Heung-Min Son as we move towards the start of a new season and a new chapter for the Club with Nuno Espirito Santo.
“Everyone can see the real positive impact he has on the Club, both on and off the field, and we are delighted that he will play a part in what we are trying to achieve in the coming years.”
Heung-Min Son added: “It was already a big honour to play here for six years, the Club have showed me massive, massive respect and obviously I’m very happy to be here.
“It’s like home, especially with the fans, the players, the staff. There was no decision. It was easy. I’m so happy to be here and will be so glad to see the fans again soon."

Being honest I'd say this is the best news a Spurs fan could get this summer! This guy is so under rated it's ridiculous. Keeping him is better than United getting Sancho for me.

Nice one Sonny, nice one Son! 4th in the top goal scorers list last season, making sure that THFC had 50% of the top four places! The huge 'superstar' Fernandes, the other one, not the one we borrowed from Benfica, only got one more than Sonny! He also makes up 50% of my two favourite current Spurs players. Let's have some more good news, I like good news - Harry as club captain and staying for at least one more year?

Pundit Danny Murphy believes Heung-Min Son has shown a lack of ambition by signing a new deal at Spurs.
Forum pundit Dorset believes Danny Murphy has shown what a cunt he is by posting this shite. Murphy = Lawro.

Nah, Lawro was a stupid cunt who imo didn't know his arse from his elbow.... Murphy is an attention seeking shit spouting oxygen thief who is even shitter at punditry than he was at being a top flight professional footballer.

Two ways to look at it.
1) happy to try to push Spurs to greater heights
2) happy to accept higher wages knowing we probably won’t win anything here.

Kion Etete has signed a new contract with the Club until 2023 and has joined League Two side Northampton Town on loan for the 2021/22 season.

The 19-year-old striker joined our Academy in 2019 from Notts County, where he'd made six first team appearances, including four in League Two.

Last season, he scored nine goals in 21 appearances for our Under-23s in the Premier League 2.
