If anyone thinks anyone is missing who they would vote for just say,I maxed out the amount of options we could vote on.Guess if someone asks for Davies to be included the game is afoot if we have a lurker :D

Regardless there are so many players had a fine season individually and as a team monumentally.
Congrats to them all.

Well I deliberated and on the official site plumped for sissoko,no I mean Dele.Kane and Toby have won it before so in a pretty even race I opted out from them, really it was a toss up between,Jan,eriksen and dele for me after excluding them, but as the old commentators quote says "goals...pay the rent" so outstanding defending Jan,great work and assists Christian but weight of goals gives it to the guy every club now claims they could have signed.
I just dont think they understood !!!!

Dele my POTY

Copycat :p Eriksen was a good shout too, maybe wasn't firing in the early part of the season.

I think had Rose been fit for longer this season, and had continued his form I'd probably have voted for him. It's more for me now ... who is replaceable the least, and I think Dele probably has been for us this season, but I could equally have voted for Eriksen, Kane, Alderweireld and Vertonghen.

And Moussa

And Wanyama

Wanyama and Mousa are both great shouts as well........Victor out of those two for me this year - straight out of the box brilliant.

I'm giving it to the little Danish fella. As has been said there are so many candidates, Alli and Kane are the obvious candidates with their volume of goals, as well a special mention for Sonny, who's done a brilliant job stepping in for Lamela. The defence, the midfield they've all been first class but Eriksen is somewhat taken for granted and is sometimes forgotten while others get the headlines, yet game after game, especially over the last 4/5 months, he's been utterly brilliant and keeps the team ticking along at all times. This season especially, I've really appreciated how big a player he is for us, so for this season, he's my chosen headline maker!

Oh fuck off with your fucking poll, you can stick it up your front bottom. I can't pick just one. I chose - Toby, Christian, Victor, Dele, Mousa, Harry, Jan and Hugo. But juts to be fair I will include Kyle, Kieran, Ben, Eric, Sonny, Danny, Harry junior, and Vincent - he scores when he wants.

Oh all right I chose Wanyama, are you happy now? I might change my mind in a minute.

See, that's the thing with this thread... feels like you've really got to go out of your way to be 'wrong' on this one.

Eriksen is up there on just about every influential attacking stat going....massively important to the team, which is what it is, and thus hard to pick an individual.

Has Ronaldo ever not won player of the year at RM or Messi at Barcelona. They are hugely reliant on one player.

I remember Mascherano winning it one year

This said, I think Barcelona and Real Madrid being a reliant on one player is a little bit... wrong. Sure, they do have some crazy superstars, but the teams in general are quality, I mean it's not easy to pick weaknesses in Real at least at the moment.

Eriksen for me, makes us tick in so many games. One of the main reason why Harry, Dele and Son have scored so many goals

Eriksen for me! Over 100 chances created, goals, assists and he is second in the league with 370km covered - thats 9 more than kante!

But it could also be Dele, Jan, Wanyama of those who have played most games

Although kane has scored 21 goals, lloris has 15 clean sheets in 29 games, walker had most assists by a defender

Son been brilliant, toby solid, trippier done well when played, dier has been dier, rose was immense before injury, cant forget Dembele either!

Wanyama is a fucking monstrous player and would be 70 million if playing for Madrid all day long.

Hard choice. Rose was edging it for me pre injury. I think I've narrowed it down to the last 6 or 7.

You are so right mate.... I simply had to plum for Vic as there seems to be nothing else like him. Dembele is my favorite player by a wee way as he does things on and with the ball he shouldn't be able to do. Victor doesn't have the silky feel of the moose but he is just as effective with simply raw power. I fucking love that.

I could make a case for everyone of them. I think Vertonghen has been seriously underrated this year tbh. But for all the reasons that @Chavhater01 pointed out above it's Eriksen for me. An absolute rolls Royce of a footballer.

Unfortunatly defenders just arent sexy enough to gather votes, except when like Toby they have an exceptional season.Lets face it when Toby went off with that injury we all shat ourselves needlessly cos jan+whoever covered so well and stepped up.Jans best season by far, turning into quite the player and looks happy, something he hasnt always looked.
Amazing a 30 goal striker & + 20 goal midfielder wont run away with the vote, thats how good it has been.

Rose would have been mine if he hadn't been injured.

In fact my top three was...

Rose
Eriksen
Super Jan

Remove Danny because of injury and Christian goes top for me and I voted that this morning on the members one. Complete unsung hero this season as has Jan and both don't receive the applause they should become they just go about there business with no fanfare.

On a related note, I was disappointed and outraged Gilberto wasn't represented at the closing ceremony on Sunday...
