This team deserved to win something. Simply brilliant.

Of course I agree that the players probably deserve a trophy, but as long as our team is such a joy to watch and support, I'm happy.

True, but I don't think anyone will be underestimating us this season. 86 points would have won the league on a lot of occasions. Keep the team together, and get off running early...

Nice that the Wanderers finally clawed the Europa League as well... glad they did, as at least they have the horrid travel of the Europa League, and the weird playing schedule. Keep them busy, unlike Chelsea or Leicester last year. Even the playing field for next year too... all the conventional top six have Europe again. United will be there too, automatically EL now, since Woolwich and the Chavs have qualified for Europe already.

Now I'd quite like to be a sadist and have United win the Europa League, so that 1-4, and 6 qualified for the Champions League ;D That'd mean Everton would get the next Europa League, right?

Can I just say that I'm loving Michael Oliver's work towards the end of this season. Since they've banned Mike Dean from refereeing our games Michael Oliver has stepped up to the plate tremendously.

Today's highlight was sending off Koshellnee, thus ensuring he misses the cup final loss to Chelsea next week.

My contempt for Man United and Rooney knows no bounds, but from a purely footballing perspective, this is pretty cool. Also, I feel old:

Didn't think it was possible for john terry to be any more hateful and self obsessed than he already was. What happened yesterday at that shithole of a stadium on 26mins defies belief. It was wrong and disrespectful on so many levels esp towards Sunderland. A guard of honour during the game, subbed at 26mins, play stopped so he could milk it all up? Selfish cunt of the highest order. I wish him nothing but misfortune. Words absolutely fail me.

A moment that perfectly summed up a player, and for that matter a club.

Gerrard was equally a one club man, Steve Perryman, Ryan Giggs, even Gooners like Donkey Adams and others the list is endless didn't treat their clubs in this way. Arrogant, classless, cheap little racist shite, like the rest of his family.

Scientists have predicted that by the year 2020, you will never be more than 6ft away from someone who is 'on loan from Chelsea'.

Fulham really should have been promoted, of the play off contenders they were the only one I'd say that stood a reasonable chance of staying up.

Would be surprised if Fulham don't win the Championship next season.

I think less than 5 games were played with our first choice 11
How many games did we play Lloris, walker, rose, toby, jan? not many, quite amazing for our so called lack of depth, last 3 months won 12 of 13 without ,rose, lamela, winks, sometimes kane, dembele remarkable,I guess knockers would say lucky, cos beating last years champions 6-1 in their house was all luck as was beating man u and arsenal in that run.

Considering all the records broken, all the goals scored and saved and everything else achieved last season, such as the golden boot for Harry and Spurs universally acclaimed as the most entertaining team to watch, I'd say it was nothing short of an absolute triumph. Ok so we didn't win anything, apart from a new found belief and smashing almost every club football record out of sight, but we will.

We finished 8 at least points ahead of City and the rest, including 17 points clear of United, with all that money, 'talent' and wealth. That is truly remarkable.

We simply had an injury affected October and November, which likely prevented us winning a couple more games, similarly in January. Chelsea of course had to go that amazing 13 game winning streak (until they played us) which nailed it, but they had no European football and very few significant injuries. There is everything to celebrate going forward, it's even more exciting now than it was a year or even 18 months ago.
