Well it's out .. City aside, I think we've certainly got a chance in the first few weeks to build up a head of steam with some definitely winnable games.

November looks brutal but then there's a decent run-in as well.

Burnley up first is a bollocks! Promoted teams always make me nervous first match or 2. They come out flying.

We can announce that an additional pre-season friendly has been arranged for our Men's First Team on Saturday.

Prior to our trip to Kenilworth Road to face League One side Luton Town at 3pm, we'll take on Wycombe Wanderers, also of League One, in a behind-closed-doors match at Hotspur Way, kick-off 11am.

The additional game has been arranged to allow Thomas Frank an opportunity to hand more match minutes to more players on Saturday. Both fixtures will be contested by the first team squad, with players divided into two groups to compete in the respective games.

Head Coach Thomas explained: "We wanted an extra game in our schedule to give as many players as many match minutes as possible, in order to put them in the best position, physically.

"We will play two even, strong teams and they will play between 60 and 75 minutes, maybe more.

"By the end of Saturday, 22 players will have played a lot of match minutes and they will be in a very good place before we go on tour."

We're pleased to confirm that the Wycombe Wanderers match will be broadcast live on SPURSPLAY in addition to the Luton game, making Saturday a real feast of football for subscribers to our popular video platform.

We'll be on air from just before 11am with live coverage of the game against Wycombe at Hotspur Way before we head over to Kenilworth Road for full live coverage of the match against Luton, kick-off 3pm.

If you're not already subscribed to SPURSPLAY, sign up today to enjoy all of our men's first team pre-season games live*, plus so much more.

Supporters are reminded that although the match at Luton Town will be played in front of a live crowd at Kenilworth Road, the fixture against Wycombe Wanderers at Hotspur Way will be strictly behind closed doors and no admittance to the site will be possible for members of the public.

*Subject to availability in your region.
