Fabrizio Romano has given it the “here we go” and that’s good enough for me.

Welcome Radu.

Great news to wake up to. I had conceded he was going to Bayern and we would end up with egg on our faces.

I guess we still could, but it feels like we will get this done.

I'd love to see a video of Romero smashing a Rubiks cube! Welcome!

Allegedly, Bayern offered him 75% more in salary than we did but he'd supposedly already given us his word he would sign and he was determined to stand by that.

That’s kind of what his agent was saying. Not questioning his integrity, but presumably he thinks he’ll play more here as well. Either that or he got a “gentleman’s agreement” with Levy…

Dragusin's agent just appeared live on the #1 show here in Romania to talk about the move, here's the most interesting bits

  • Most expensive transfer in history of Romania (30m with bonuses)
  • The medical tests at Spurs grounds were passed, he's on his way right now to do another set at a private facility somewhere else
  • The agent is drinking a "good ass coffee at the Spurs grounds for free right now" (LMAO??)
  • Deal was finalized officially at around 3 am, Levy stood up and called the agent in the middle of the night
  • It was Dragusin's choice to come to Spurs
  • He talked to both Tuchel and Ange, Ange was more convincing
  • Winning trophies at Bayern would not have been fulfilling if he benches
  • He's gonna start against United (this is more of a hunch of the Agent, nothing confirmed)
  • He's tailor-made for Premier League, "tall, fast, strong and young"
  • One time the agent said that "6 or so months ago, no pundit show was calling me to talk about Dragusin and i did not understand why", the host of the show apologizes and agrees that people were overlooking Dragusin
  • When asked "where do you see your player in 5 years (end of contract duration)?" he said "Real Madrid"
This is going to probably be my last post about Dragusin, it was a fun period, now it's time to watch our boy and hopefully he makes both Spurs fans and Romanians proud of him

So, Daniel bought him a coffee. That's what brought it over the line.

Fantastic. It will be interesting to see if Ange throws him into the fire straight away on Sunday.

Really no need to start him Sunday with Davies and VDV available. Maybe some minutes in mop up time.

And...took one in the nuts, went down as one does, then got up and saw the game out.

Announcer observed that 40,000 men in Villa Park just groaned when they saw the big screen. He definitely looks the part, but VdV (yes, he's earned it) leaves big shoes to fill.
