Hope we go strong, tough away fixture against a really good side.

Has stating he “always wins in his second season” put extra pressure on the lads? Who the fuck knows, we should win this.

We need to sodomize them.

I take back what I said in the cups thread. Strongest starting XI goes out for it and they get reprieve in the second half if and when it has become a training exercise.

Game time for Bergvall and Gray maybe?

Now that the PL title is officially out of reach, no reason not to go for it in the cups. Win something imo!

I do think we'll have a go. I think there are some players who probably need a rest--I think we have to be careful about overusing Porro and Udogie. And I'd stick in Bergvall for Maddison (which isn't really rotation--Madders isn't really playing well).

Ah come on...Really ? We're 4 games into the season ?! I wouldn't play Maddison cos he's been shit. I tell ya...letting Hojberg go was a big mistake imo.

Yeah, true. But it’s not so much that they need a rest now as that games pile up.

We should bring in Dragusin, Spence, Gray.

Bentancor should start, he may receive a lengthy ban so makes sense to play him. Keep Solanke in, he has played so little football he needs the match fitness

Just feel that Spurs need a very good outing today which results in a win.
Moreso for Ange as there are already people calling for his head.
This Cup, along with the Europa, provides a realistic opportunity to win some silverware which should appease the masses. That gives Ange more time to further mold the team to his liking.

Let's play guess the team.

I'm going to say:

Forster
Spence. Dragusin. Gray. Davies
Bentancur. Bergvall
Odebert. Kulusevski. Son
Solanke

Yeah fighting to stay in the league at this point...

I think we'll have enough to stay up. ;) But as someone who has not cared much for the cups in the past, I think we really, really need some silverware this year. It's been too long and I don't really care about top 4 any more. BIG, SHINY CUP! Do it, Ange.

And yeah, Reguilon. That's an odd one. But this is a pretty strong lineup. Gotta be a W.

A pretty decent line up, good bench too. I don't know anything about Cov , how they play etc.

Never a big fan of so many changes but when we’ve actually (finally) got some proper quality in the squad then it’s not so bad.

Good side and it would be nice for Solanke to get off the mark.

So Gray is our RB? Has he ever played it? Spence can't be that bad.

I always wish we start with a strong team and then make the changes.
