I borrowed the picture from their website, I hope they don't mind. This game following Juventus reminds me of the joke 'heads down lads back to work., not the joke because I;ve forgotten that but I remember the punchline.I hope we go big for this one for many reasons.
  • We should show respect to Rochdale who deserve it for getting this far in the competition, good job chaps!
  • It is the FA Cup.
  • We have a run of relatively straight forward games after this one and a 8 day break before we have to go and play Palace.
Send the big guns and give the Rochdale fans a treat, they might not be too pleased at a Harrycane blowing through their town, but as true fans of football they will at some level enjoy seeing a hat-trick from a master of his trade.

This will not be an easy game, there are no easy games in the FA Cup and Rochdale will be giving it large to get a win or get a replay at Wembley.

It will be easy, cos we are tottenham ,super tottenham from the lane.
Might be a scare or two in the mud,but a sticky pitch is probably whats required for sissoko to control the ball.I could name a side that doesnt include any from last night in turin, but i wont because that is Poch's job,and i dont feel the need to impart my obvious superior knowledge on tactics and line ups to you lot.I suspect tho vorm will start !!!

I could write exactly the same post as before Newport, because it's the same set of circumstances, so I won't bore you. Another banana skin, take care, find the intensity, good luck and enjoy the magic of the Cup. We will win 3-1

Yay! Live coverage on proper BBC telly, none of this streaming bollocks this week. It's about time they did something for that extortionate licence fee, although I am enjoying the curling at the moment, some fantastic sweeping going on to help the stones get to the house, blimey I am becoming an expert and will soon start shouting advice at the telly like 'go for the freeze you wanker, my mum could sweep better than you and she's brown bread' - 'one Tommy Muirhead, there's only one Tommy Muirhead' and 'You're going to your head curled in'

But saying that would be very sexist and exploitative wouldn't it? Back to the stone age with you!

They just won a thrilling game against China, coming back fro a couple down to winning in the extra end on the final stone-bung, that's a technical term by the way. I am getting hooked on this game, it's like snooker with big fuck off stones, no pockets, silly waistcoats or cues - so fuck all like snooker really. Oh yeah it's the tactics innit?

They lost to the Yanks earlier today.....the ice was rubbish apparently!! I thought ice was ice...but how silly of me, I forgot you can also get the wrong type of snow, the sort of snow that can bring trains to a standstill, and ice is well-hard, much harder than snow....snow shrinks and melts in the face of ice. So if it's the wrong sort, then it's not surprising Eve and the girls found the going very tough indeed.....but that's horse racing for you. It ain't curling is it.....

They're 2nd now. so pretty good. The cheating fucking septics probably pissed on the ice earlier.

How do they do the markings on the ice? Why doesn't the paint run? What happens if they get a power cut, will all the poor little curlers drown? Why are theGB team all sweaties? So many questions that the BBC just can't be bothered answering, I'm going to write to Points Of View!

I've just realised that there isn't much curling going on in Rochdale this weekend, even if it gets really really cold....it would be really hard to kick those heavy 'stones' around, especially on that pitch.....

I bet Wanyama could though fuck me if he hit it like he did at Anfield it would never stop. It's a it dangerous this curling lark, not sure I like it better off with some nice safe football terracing, yeh, that's the ticket...

I'd go pretty strong here, long gap until CP, so no reason not to.

Give Toby, Victo, Harry W and Lucas a game and build a team around that.

No replay needed....unless we're losing, then I'll take a replay.

Agreed.
No use holding back here.
When you think of it, our squad is completely healthy. No matter who you put out it's a strong squad.
I'd rotate maybe 5 or 6. Give them a nice run out while some others rest.

Hopefully, the newly laid turf has had a chance to bed in.

Just did a bit of research on Rochdale.

Found them at the bottom of League One.
Stands to reason since they tend to engage in threesomes rather than train.

Evidence: Exhibit One

Dunphy told Press Association Sport: "It's done and it's beautiful. I was on the pitch last night, it's like a snooker table. Tottenham will be very pleased when they see it.

"It's unfortunate that there has been all this talk about the pitch because it more or less took away all the goodness in beating Millwall over two games. But it was always our plan to replace the pitch and all we did was bring it forward.

"It all got a bit blown out of proportion. Somebody showed the Tottenham manager a picture of the Rochdale pitch. It's like showing somebody a picture of a bowl of curry and asking them what it tastes like. Until you actually get out there you wouldn't know what it was like."

Rochdale v Spurs – “New tarmac pitch should silence critics” says spokesfootballer
By

Zeno February 16, 2018

“I’m prepared to admit that the playing surface wasn’t perhaps 110%, but Mr Pinocchio has no right to criticise another club that might not have as much money as Tottenham.”

A Rochdale AFC spokesman was replying to the criticism of Spurs’ manager Mauricio Pochettino ahead of Sunday’s FA Cup fifth-round tie, that the playing surface at Rochdale’s famous Spotland Stadium was unfit for football.

The spokesman continued, “to be honest, we were worried at one point, but after talking it over with the FA, we decided that tarmac was the way forward and now the pitch is perfect. Of course, the slope is still there, so even if you smash the ball along the ground from the edge of the box it might not go in, and often rolls back into the other penalty area, but Mr Punchinella has to understand that this is the FA Cup and part of the romance of the Cup is seeing how many Premiere League players you can hospitalise in 90 minutes”.

Rochdale AFC have made other improvements to the ground and the club whippet has a new coat. There are also plans to release 50 blue and white pigeons before the game to honour the number of season ticket holders at The Dale.

“We’ve unblocked two of the five toilets in the Gents’ and there are rumours of triple ply, but I can’t confirm that. There are no hard feelings though, and we look forward to welcoming Manuel Poinsettia and the Tottenham fans.”

It’ll be a game they’ll never forget.

Hat trick for Sissoko / Llorente? That's a good side, mostly, 9/11ths good?. Nah, it's all good, very good, good enough for a thumping I reckon.

Disappointed??not in the least, good game to watch, and gives harry more chances to get to 50 goals !!!!
fair play to dale, played good football.
Yup not gonna begrudge them a replay and some cash in their pockets, they deserved it. Good to give more game time to the 2nd stringers as well. Shouldn’t affect the first teamers too much, maybe another half each, tops. Very impressed with Moura...in fact, I think we’re gonna see a lot Moura Lucas!!

Well done Rochdale. well earned replay, looking forward to seeing them at Wembley, they'll have a nice day out, we get to see even more FA Cup football before we go onto the next round. I am not remotely upset by that game, it's the FA Cup and that's what happens in the FA Cup - there is a place far, far away where they are going mental about how shite we are because they don't like or understand football and only support 'their team' when they are winning, I don't care about those chaps because they are cunts. The FA Cup is always about lower division teams giving their absolute best and playing the games of their lives, they don't have the Champions League or a challenge for top 4 four in the Premier League to think about and every cup tie is a final, judging our team and slagging them off for being shite in a FA Cup tie is as cuntish as it gets.

Moura was magic, I am really looking forward to seeing him in the first team, does he glue the ball to his feet? We have needed someone like him for yonks, I think he will do nicely and Mr Kane will be like a fat fucker doing a supermarket sweep in Greggs- feeding from all those delicious balls he will get played to him. £25m? Top bargain.

The replay seems to on Wednesday the 28th March, between the Palace away game on the Monday and Huddersfield at home on the Saturday, that's not bad timing, could have been much worse.
EDIT:

It seems some folks want to split hares, which is a good thing if you can shoot the fuckers, a nice split hare pies is nice - when I said March, I obviously meant February, it's almost the same word just 5 or 6 different letters.
