So we start life without the best goal scorer we've ever had...
One of our own...!
We again start what seems like the ever lasting cycle of new dawns under a different manager... (Same owners and chairman btw)
Ill be honest, I'm yet to see anything that concinves me our fortunes will chnage vastly over his tenure... Yep I've seen the sum total of 70 minutes of football in a friendly, but irregardless of that, we've just lost the 2nd best goal scorer in the world... (Yep I think the freak pips him) and with that, a guarantee of 30+ goals we will now need to find elsewhere In a side that looks surprisingly similar to the one that grossly underwhelmed all of us, including our star player, for the previous 2+ seasons...
"Ange-ball", as yet, is another low value Spurs experiment... it might work, it might not... I like what the guy says and I hope he has the balls and the lawyers to continue to speak his mind and tell the truth if things do start to go sour... I expect them to btw.
I'll always give him time and I'll always respect him for trying to play good fast attacking football and that's I what I want from any Spurs manager... Not even pragmatically boring 1-0 wins will satisfy me... I want to sit down to watch spurs and be excited about what may happen... thats not been the case for around 3 years now...
Anyway... as always, Levy Out and COYS.....!!!!!
