Yeah, I know it's a few weeks away... but I reckon this is an important game going into 2 tough gigs against The Scum and The Dippers...

Utd have only picked up a point so far (against Everton) and sit 17th in the league having lost to Palace, Forest and Citeh...

We have to win this don't we...?

3 points for us and a continuation of our pre-international break form is essential to give us a good chance against 2 top teams to follow.

COYS...!

I love that I can't see us doing anything but smashing them

We'll just have too much for them. I reckon they'll park the bus. Still think we'll put at least 3 past them. Isn't it nice to be thinking like that. In a very small time frame, Ange has pulled us up by the scruf of the neck and kicked us up the arse and most of all he's made us play with smiles on our faces, on and off the pitch.
Love it!

Shame about the international break really. We're in a good place and Son needed the run after the hattrick.

Was looking forward to it last year so I didn't have to watch complete muck for a week or 2.

I hate international breaks
When your team is doing well it seems like a bit of an inconvenience & a disruption of momentum. But, at the same time, you can savour it & enjoy the saltiness other clubs fans are enduring.

I live in a country whose team couldn't even arrange friendlies to distract us from work and family whilst the PL is on hiatus.

Hmmm, yes that is a good team, but injuries and stuff happen ....

I put Emerson in twice because he is double pony. City could probably have three sets of teams like the one @Yid posted, we only have one, that's what stops us winning the league.

Okay, so they have a gap at LB because Davies doesn't exist, but if we put Deki on the left to accomodate our Johnson, we're fucked.

That back line is better than theirs, however. The midfield is close. And the Belgian has a sore hammy. Ya never know...

I wonder if Richarlison will feature in this one.

Good question. He might be better in the packed box, but who knows.

Ange was oddly low-key in his response to the news, I thought. Almost said shit happens:

"What I will say is that no-one has a perfect life. I’m sure every player in our dressing room is dealing with something. Footballers are not immune from what life throws are you. It’s part of life and that’s the advice I give to all my players because there will always be something that is not where you want it to be."

The guy is such a fatherly figure. With so many young players, Spurs need that.

Polar opposite to Conte's "I kill them!!!" lol

Kind of sounds like he’s uncomfortable talking about it publicly.

Vicario, Porro, Romero, Van Der Ven, Udogie, Sarr, Bissouma, Maddison, Kulusevski, Son, Solomon

Subs: Forster, Dier, Davies, Royal, Hojbjerg, Skipp, Perisic, Richarlison, Johnson

I'd love to see Dier get some minutes just to piss off angry spurs twitter :)

First trip to the lane for me, back in section 324, they have added a drummer in this section this season…FML

Good team, and as I predicted, despite many predicting otherwise, Dier and Davies still in squad
Think we'll win, possibly top of the league tonight. COYS

I always used to complain when the "Stand up if you hate Arsenal" chant began because I was often quite content sitting down 😂

Every corner we had in the first half should have been a penalty. Shirt holding, wrestling, round the neck holding ... but no, that's OK eh? Definite penalty on Maddison, but fucking useless cunt of an abortion VAR have been instructed to not disagree with the refs. Fucking slide-rules measuring pubes offside when goals are scored, but fuck all when obvious penalty offences have been committed.

Two more penalties not given by the king of cunts. OK, one, but FFS, how does this cunt keep his job?
