Wow, a Saturday game...

These lads have hit some form and we'll need to be right at it to stop them and to score against them.

Can't stand Dyche and I want to see MOTD Saturday night with him moaning and whining about how unfair the world is according to massive ginger cry babies who were moulded in the stone ages of football.

Yeah, a little nervous about this one. A bit like the West Ham game, you know what they're going to do, but it will be difficult to break them down. Fair play to Dyche, I thought Everton were dead earlier in the season, but he's really turned things around.

Be nice if we could control the defensive midfield... Biss would have done that if available.

It's going to be an ugly game, especially with Dyche's anti-football. A win would be handy though.

I know we won't do it, but play long from the back, press them when we turn it over and dial back the high line. If we do those things it should be near impossible for them to score a goal. Everton are committed and organized, but they really aren't good. This is a game Ange has to win.

We'll have to be patient in this one. Think we'll take the points but Dyche will set them up to shut us down. Could be a "win ugly" one....but win.

Be nice to sit down for a few hours and not be spending fucking money... Honestly I'm not usually a grinchy bastard, but it feels like I've been liberated from my cash more than usual this time of year... Might even have a nice chilled out beer, maybe a Hoegarden Blonde... Or the Lefe Rouge I've been saving...

Might even coax my son into a small glass prior to going to a gig tonight. Be nice to have a Spurs win to start the evenings activities.

Johnson starts which is good. Skipp in for Bissouma and not Hojbjerg which I don't have much of a problem with either.

Not going to be a pretty watch but hopefully we can grind out a win.

Ange needs to get amongst them at half time and calm everyone down.

We totally dominated the first 30 minutes, then it got a bit iffy. 2 nil at half time is nice, but this game could turn on us like a bitey, yapping little dog, and the only thing to with those fuckers is kick ‘em in the nuts, not literally Mr Romero. There was some purty footy played in those first 30 minutes, a bit more of that, a 3rd goal and some less shakey defending and we’ll get all the points.

A little disjointed and rushed trying to play from the back, which has to do with Everton’s pressure as much as us. As others have said, we’ve looked brilliant going forward, just looking for a bit more composure. One more goal and we can relax and descend into a Christmas stupor.

That was fucking hard to watch, we got away with that. First 30 minutes we were good, then…. Not so much. The passing was horrible, we gave them so much room to attack - were our players scared to leave the safety of the pack in the middle of the field?

I feel sorry for the 4th official, imaging having to listen to Dyche whingeing for 90 minutes, what a cunt.

Phew. Got there in the end. If we can stop going to pot after the first half an hour or so then we’ll be some team.

One defeat in five with three straight wins is a good bit of form as well.

Didn’t see it but that’s a massive win. Everton have been playing with lots of confidence of late, and thought this could be a ‘sticky’ fixture against the Toffees!

No Udogie, all of our passing midfielders not available, so to get the 3 points is huge. We know how good Madders and Bentancur are but Bissouma, I know he’s been a dopey fucktard but he has the ability to play little balls thru the lines, which tends to get things moving forward.

Anyway another 3 points and fixture ticked off, en route to getting Micky and Madders back.

Happy Christmas fellas!

P.S Draw at Anfield pls.

It was driving me nuts from 4000 miles away, I can only imagine how irritating it is in person. Saying that, he’s done a very good job with that team, they’re a real ballache to play against and we’re on the front foot for much of the game.

This was a very good win. Different challenge ahead with Brighton.

To go in for Christmas in the top four and just four points off the top with the injury crisis we’ve had is pretty fucking amazing.

If we can keep up that kind of momentum when we get the likes of Maddison and Bentancur back and playing then watch out ..

And Happy Christmas from me as well, even though I hate it .. heh

I put that down to the midfield/defence being composed of our second string...

I think because they're not as good at being on he half turn, playing the right passess at the right times or being slightly out of position, it looks like we're forcing it and made Everton look like they had half a chance of sussing out our plan and getting the better of us.

Don't get me wrong I think Skipp is playing some of his best ever football for us right now, but he is not Bisouma. Sarr is not Maddison. Dier is not Romero.

And yeah I know you can't have like for likes and you have to have players willing to be rotated etc but I think with our first 11 out Everton would have looked like the typical 1980's beat em up long ball bullshit side they will always be under Dyche... We allowed them to be in the game enough to make it a bit squeaky.

It's testament to how good this side is being coached that those players are coming in and doing a fantastic job overall.

Poor cunt was on suicide watch from about 25 mins in...

Honestly, I'd struggle not to just tell him to wind his fucking neck in and fuck off. The fat headed ginger fuck...!
