5 points between us and Villa now so anything less than 3 points would be a huge disappointment. We have to be beating the likes of Palace if we want CL next season...
3-2

Hard to know how they’ll play against us under the new manager. I’m hoping they’ll play on the front foot, as we’re better when teams come at us. As boring as it’s been around here without a game to talk about, maybe the time off will do the team some good.

The Palace result is even more important when you consider the very next game is against Villa.

We should, in theory, have a full strength side available as well. If a few people can find their form again, who's to say another 10 game run isn't on the cards?

They slapped up Burnley. I realize that everybody gets to do that, but does anyone know if they were actually good?

They’re nothing special and even with a new manager bounce it should be a routine win for us!

If his last team is any indication, the way the new manager will want them to play is very far from how they played under Roy.

No matter who’s in charge, they’re a different proposition when Eze and Olise are healthy. Not sure, but I don’t think either will play on the weekend.

It's looking like the rearranged fixture with Chelsea will be slotted into midweek in April after the game against Newcastle which will make our final four fixtures ..

Newcastle (A)
Chelsea (A)
Man City (H)
Arsenal (H)

.. clearly the easiest run-in we could have hoped for ..

That is indeed a tough run of fixtures. We will determine who wins the title. But...the season doesn't end there. Liverpool after the Arse.

And then Burnley and Sheffield after that. Both of which will be relegated. Those matches always go well for us, don't they?

Had a dream we lost after controlling the entire game but not making a breakthrough then getting caught on the break. Take it for what you will.

Stupid BBC website stopped scrolling after the Arses .. doh ..

Just reading that Richarlison is out "3-4 weeks" with an ankle problem according to Ange.

I suppose there's potential for Sonny to play through the middle as the main striker with Werner or Johnson on the left maybe.

That wasn't a dream, that was last week's game in flashback.

Since we're doing dream analysis, I feel bound to report that I woke in a panic this morning due to a dream in which I was being suffocated/strangled by my Spurs scarf. I was trying to take it off, got stuck and woke lathered in sweat.

The good doctor Freud's services might not be necessary here...

Fucking big girl's blouses innit? Remember when Graham Roberts played 90 minutes with 3 broken legs, concussion, a fractured skull, and an ingrown pube, after losing 7 pints of blood in a nasty shaving accident?

Remember when Sonny broke his arm in the first minute of the game against Villa, played the whole game and scored an injury time winner ?

Hard as nails ..

Remember Paulinho? He lost an eyelash and had to come off. In the olden days Dinsdale Piranha would have nailed their heads to the floor and they would have been grateful.

Surely that team has to be good enough? The bench looks strong as well. 4-0, easy!

Thank fuck he never played for us, but that floppy haired cunt David Luiz would often go down screaming as if shot in the balls if someone dared to just glance in his direction.

That doesn’t look good. At least we’ve got Dragusin on the bench

Dull, dull half but then it always is when Palace are involved. I'd wager if Brennan Johnson was on the field and got the same chance Werner had, we'd be 1-0 up now.

Need to step it up in the 2nd half

Pony as fuck that was. Tens of thousands of passes, mostly backwards, 2 attempts, 1 on target. It needs to be much, much better in the 2nd half.

That’s a really good ball across from Werner, shame no one was on the end of it

That was probably the only way they were going to score because they’ve just turned up to defend otherwise.

Can’t see how we’re going to respond at the moment
