Put them down early. Get some younger kids decent minutes / give some rest to the stars once game is in hand.

Front 3 could be interesting. Definitely a potential banana skin though so we need to be on it and go for goals from the start.

Bit of a slow start, but coming into the game now. Sheffield are a good team, look a real headache to play against.

Porro actually looking like he knows what he’s doing as well.

United have been good. Keeping their shape and discipline and defending well throughout.

I can certainly see Kane being used at some point.

It’s such shit defending for the goal. Standing still with arms behind backs, just throw yourself at the ball

That is all on the players, dreadful performance.

The one game where you want us to send out a full strength side and we don’t. A genuine chance of silverware with the way the competition was panning out and the luck of the draw we were having and we go and throw it all away.

When your front three are woefully out of form, what do you expect ?

Just fucking awful

Yes, there was very poor defending on Ndiayes goal but we were useless going forward. Utterly predictable, slow, and devoid of any attacking structure. If teams don’t give us space to play in behind, we have literally no idea how to break them down.

I won’t second guess the decision to put out a chopped and changed side, because I can see the rationale. But it’s obvious even with some different personnel the problems are the same.

And United draw Blackburn in the Quarter Finals ..

When you prioritise top four over trophies for the money it brings, that you have no intention of spending properly, this is what you get.

That's like pouring vinegar into a gaping axe wound.

Pissed it up against the wall again. Fuck this club.

that’s one thing I’ll say: this has been a problem one manager after another, pretty much since Redknapp. Top four over everything.

It's a problem for us "the fans" as we want trophies, well, most of us.. but not for Levy, as finishing top 4 is far more profitable than lifting the FA Cup. It's sad the way its going. It used to be all for the glory, now it's all for the wallets.

This is on the players. We sent out a way more talented side than they did and we couldn't do anything. All big clubs send out weakened sides in the FA cup bit still win. You can't think you can win CL if you can't beat Sheffield.

Most big clubs have more depth than we do, and can usually get away with putting out weakened teams. SHU are pretty much certain to get promoted, and it’s a very difficult place to go. Just seems like we took it for granted.

I can't quite remember how long it had been, but when Harry got us back in the top four you can almost hear Levy in his office shouting "Wait, this pays how much ?. Shiiiiiiiit !!" and everything changing from that point onwards to prioritise a top four finish over everything.

I read Stellini's comments after the game and I can get giving Kane a rest but for a game this important where we've got a legitimate chance of at least getting to a cup final, why not rest him against Wolves on Saturday to save him for the Milan game?

Why not pick the same side that beat Chelsea and keep the momentum going unless it's been "suggested" that the FA Cup doesn't matter ?

Doesn't matter who the manager is we have a consistent problem where there's a clear first XI with maybe 2 or 3 in reserve who are trusted. Then we have 10 squad players. Other top sides have a good 18 players their manager could trust to start in any league game. So there's decent rotation throughout the season. So when it comes to the cups and there's rotations players aren't as scratchy as ours always seem to be.

Outfield wise you could all literally name the XI most games. Bar of late Richarlison for Son. And some wing back rotation. It's....

Romero Dier Davies
Emerson Hojberg Skipp Perisic
Kulu Kane Son

Everyone else enjoy your one start every 8-10 games

The argument that top 4 prioritisation is more impotent bullshit...

Sheffield Utd are vying for promotion to the most lucrative prize in football.. a seat at the Premier League table... they had way more to loose by playing a full squad than we did, and they still fielded a strong enough side to churn out a performance...

Fuck this pathetic unambitious corporation...

If you just look at the latest news from Tottenham and Arsenal football clubs, to me, it sums up where we are and what Levy holds dear...
Arsenal: Top of the Premier league.
Spurs: New plans to build a Go cart track

What the fuck are we anymore ?? Just fuck off Levy and do us all a favour
