Sir Clive Sinclair has died at the age of 81. I owe him a lot, my very first computer was a Sinclair ZX Spectrum and that started my coding journey. I loved my ZX, it would not work with a decent quality cassette player you needed a really crappy one - for the youngsters a cassette was like a DVD on a bit of tape that used to get twisted up, stuck in the machine or all come out at once and you had to sellotape the fucker back together and force it back into the cassette. You had 16kb of RAM and that was it, all your data and code had to live in that - for the youngsters 16kb is fuck bleeding all.

Sir Clive also gave us all a good old laugh with his electric car thing the C5

Yeah they do, they still make fucking vinyl for arseholes like one of my ex-mates to put on his Linn Sondek which you can only listen to in his pretentious fucking Listening Room, you have to sit in the Listening Chair, no food or drinks allowed, shoes off and you are not allowed to move or breath heavily - tosser. I think they still even make cassettes, fuck knows why.

I was thinking there might be a case of ram pack wobble gone a bit too far.

Sad news. I still play "Chaos" on my Spectrum Emulator on my iPhone to this day and it honestly still gives me a challenge. 48kb and I might win one in ten games, if that.
