Let's get back to normality. It's Stoke, I hate Stoke, but we will win this. Janssen will get more than 1 minute of playing time and score a couple, Harry will remember where the net is and Hugo won't do any faffing about passing out - it will be tremendous!

Excellent behaviour @Dorset..back on track with the PL match threads. This will undoubtedly prompt a return to winning ways. Tough game as they all are in the Premier League, but one we should win, assuming the First XI aren't too knackered chasing those spaces and a goal at Wembley last night.

At least Dele will be fresh.

Three at the back and a 2 or even 3 goal winning margin I reckon. It's our 26th must win game of this season, so we must make sure that we win this one...3-0 I think.

I can't stand Stoke either, funny how there are just teams you just don't like. Stoke and WBA for me. No explanation other than I just feckin hate them.

Ugly or pretty win, I don't really care. Dele and Harry to score.....hopefully.

Would be nice for Christian to get a free kick in, I was actually shocked to see he hasn't scored one since autumn 2015

Tottenham have no new reported injury problems after their midweek Europa League exit.

Left-back Danny Rose (knee) and midfielder Erik Lamela (hip) both remain on the sidelines.

Stoke's Xherdan Shaqiri could return after missing three weeks with a calf injury.

Manager Mark Hughes may give Saido Berahino his first start for the club after a couple of appearances as a substitute.

I thought Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino's team selection for their FA Cup win over Fulham was a really clever move.

Pochettino made some changes but stuck with the spine of the side he would use for Premier League games.

He picked a team to win the game, and I think most top-flight managers should do the same in the FA Cup. You can do that, and still rest some of your players.

Spurs were outplayed in their last league game, at Liverpool, because they were not allowed enough of the ball.

Sunday will be a different story. Stoke will dig in, of course, but Tottenham have got players who can hurt them.

Lawro's prediction: 2-0

I'm looking forward to hearing the team selection for this one.....hope everyone is over the Gent game, need a strong side, this lot have had two weeks off.

If Shawcross or any of his cronies injures anyone I'll be fucking furious....ironic after Dele in midweek I know but that's just me.

Really need to make a statement to the fans today, a clean sheet would be very nice too. I think we'll win this but don't think it'll be a simple task.

Looks like he's gone three at the back again too, Davies wing back maybe?

Gone 4231 in the end. Dier and Wanyam as the double pivot should mean the three behind kane have plenty of freedom. COYS!

What a fantastic half of football, that flick by Kane for the last goal to take the full back out was genius. He is truly an awesome player, so much more than a goal scorer....

It probably won't happen because we'll rest a few in the second half but I'd love it, love it if we did Stoke 6 or 7 one and finish Charlie Adams career today.

Anyone think that Poch may have had a grumpy word with them after Thursday.

This is sublime....time for another San Miguel.

Ok,, we just need to hang on for another 45 minutes and we could win this! If only Harry Kane wasn''t having a poor season, like the wankers say he is, if he was on form he would be the leading PL scorer - oh wait, he is. It must be Silence of the Numpties in tge other place, unkess they think 4-0 is not enough.

Could we be in for another Wiganesque score? Yes please.

The last 2/3 seasons have been an absolute joy watching this team play. No one is better when we play like we did today.

All we can do is keep the pressure on the chav's.

COYS!

Probably one of the most relaxing games I've ever watched Spurs play. Wonderful stuff, I'm sure that if we were bovverred we could have scored 4 more in the second half. But we weren't.

Well played Kyle Walker, deserved a goal that he tried so hard for. Interesting that Poch wasn't giving any of them a rest. Tough love from Poch?

nah not having that,we`re shite, poche is clueless and we`re all cunts here.

When Alli, eriksen play in space and kane gets free we are a match for anyone entertainment wise,i saw someone somewhere today said "this is what happens when your fullbacks push forward",well hasnt he been watching last 3 years, the reason we dont play speed merchant wingers is cos thats what our fullbacks do.
Even when we are patient and pass side to side its not boring like previously, cos we pass with more pace. From Poch`s 1st season I have enjoyed watching most of the time, after all thats why I pay,i dont pay to watch us win,I pay to be entertained and have fun.We arent perfect, but we dont ever deserve the kicking some of our fans have given us during poch`s tenure.

Souness said on sky sports that spurs just did enough because Stoke were that bad, he really can't bring hinself to praise us! As for the game, fantastic stuff, @Don Diaz said one of the most relaxing games he's watched and I gotta ageee. We completely controlled that and on another day could have had 6 or 7 goals.

In the last 3 games against Stoke City, Harry Kane has 6 goals and Dele Alli has 4, not to mention Sonny has 2 despite starting only 1 of those 3 games, lol

Anyone hear anything on Jan's injury? Praying that was precautionary being up 4 nil.

Mauricio Pochettino had good news for Tottenham Hotspur fans on the injuries to both central defenders Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen ahead of next Saturday's match against Everton.

Both the Tottenham centre-backs came off in the second half in the 4-0 victory against Stoke City. Alderweireld departed the action just minutes after the interval, while his fellow Belgian came off later in the half, holding his left hamstring.

Vertonghen has played three games in a week after returning from an ankle injury earlier which kept him out for a month.

However, their manager was confident about the duo's chances of recovering in time for the match against the Toffees at White Hart Lane next weekend.

"We hope it’s not a big issue," he said. "Both asked to leave the pitch. For caution rather than problems in the end.

"We hope in a few days can work again with the group. We should have time to recover them for next Sunday.”

Who gives a shit about sourness! No praise but if we score 4 every game cos the opponents are shit I won't care
