Well, we started with a bang and ended with a fizzle, if that. I would have taken fifth nine months ago, but I have grown tired of this season because it ended in such a shit way.

We should thrash Sheffield, but knowing us we will get walloped and the chavs will jump us for fifth. That would be embarrassing.

Don't even think it.

Yeah I'd like to see a performance worthy of the 5th best team in the land... Sheffield will play like their life depends on it still as some of these lads will be looking for moves away from a relegated club...

We can't be complacent.

If we lose, and the Chavs win they go fifth and push us in to the Europa Sainsbury’s Plumber league.

However if we did lose and City went on to win the FA Cup then sixth would still get Europa League.

Worst case scenario is we lose, Chavs win and United win the FA Cup and finish outside the top six. It means that sixth then goes into the aforementioned Plumber League.

Obviously this all becomes irrelevant when we batter Sheffield and secure 5th no matter what.

My only concern is the fact the squad are leaving for Australia right after the game so they might have one eye on that and one eye off the game.

Lo Celso out with another injury. Or he might not have fancied the flight to Australia either :)

Being sold, don't need him in the squad, I'd save on the bus and Air fare...!!!

Today is much easier, I don't have to bring down ancient curses on false believers in the true faith who sold their souls to Santa by praying for a City win. We can all ask the Dark Lord to punish the tribe who dwell in caravans, with plagues of locusts and boils, I like the idea of the boils, nice touch that. Verily shall plagues be visited upon them and all their houses (caravans). I wouldn't be too bothered about the plagues of frogs, I don't see the point of those. There's not much point in the river plague in that funny book - The fish in the Nile (Thames) will die, and the river will stink and the Egyptians (pikeys) will not be able to drink its water, because the Tories have already done that one.

We will win, City will win but unfortunately later in the year they will be docked points and the Goons will be awarded the title, but, it will be hollow 'victory', everybody will remember City begging relegated, nobody will remember the Goons getting a title they didn't win. We'll get the 4th place CL spot which will be nice. Or ....... the FA will surrender to the big money lawyers and City's punishment will be a stern telling off and possibly the wagging finger of shame.

Many many brown paper bags to go yet mate...

I'm with you, the FA/Prem/who-fucking-ever, will bottle it and the Arab Mafia will continue to bankroll them. I actually feel sorry for the fans a bit, because their club has been stolen from them. Actually on reflection, fuck them...!!! I don't see them protesting against the corrupt cunts.

But is it any different from any foreign investor? Hey, fucked if I know, all I know is I can afford to buy fish and chips for the family anymore and the Sheffield Utd are gonna get mullahed 1-0 by us from a deflected Kulu shot that was going in Row Z...

Looking forward to this. I want us to finish with a flourish.
I'm happy with Europa for next season. It's a route to CL football for the season after. We are going to have new signings to bed in so CL may have been too much next season.

City already scored, hahaha.

We, on the other hand, look flat. Brereton-Diaz can be bit of a handful.

Typical end of season match. Dead crowd and not a great deal of effort. As long as we don’t lose I suppose a Power Nap through the second half wouldn’t hurt ..

I was hoping to be thrilled in the last game of the season. I am not thrilled, not even a little bit. Let's hope for a bit more thrillingness in the second half.

Really we should be thumping in 6 or 7 against this lot, they have a -67 goal difference and 16 points for the whole fucking season. 1-0 is dangerous, they are a wounded animal and those cunts can bite you. I demand more goals from us!!!!
