1st serious test of where we are IMO... These mugs ain't mugs and have game winners throughout their side...

Defensively we need to be at the races and we also can't waste the chances we carve out...

Think this game will show us just how good our midfield is isn't when it comes to top level opposition...

Looking forward to it...

In some ways this match may be better suited for us, high tempo and the opposition will be organised. It will come down to one to one battles, reducing errors and taking your chances. They will be brave being at home, we need to be equally as brave but controlled as the away team. Losing is not a big deal, it's only 3 points and a week of avoiding all football news. But its the manner in which you lose-we need a strong and at em and a ref who doesn't buckle under the goons pressure.

Arguably an even bigger game than the one against the Dippers the week after. The Goons are notorious for doing what we did yesterday and pulling wins out of the bag even if they're playing well so I'd hate for that to happen.

I'd maybe give Johnson a shot in place of Solomon after his cameo yesterday.

I can see why you'd say that but Solomon has been a stand out for us in the final 3rd so far... Deki might be worried a little more about his place though...

Great problem to have.

You're not wrong. And i suppose it'll be even more of a headache for Ange when Bentancur gets back to full fitness.

Sarr would be the most logical to replace but it would equally be hugely unfair on the kid because he's been great so far.

Next 2 games are definitely where we see if this front foot formation and style of play can work against a quality fast attacking opposition. Defense is going to have to be on top form that's for sure!

The one thing I might be tempted to change for this one is playing PEH instead of Sarr. He can still pass and would provide a needed shield the back 4. And he does have a knack for scoring/creating big goals. Johnson is a must-start for me. Solomon has been good, but Johnson's pace could win us this match. As always, I never look forward to this fixture. If we lose it's horrible, and if we win it's exhausting relief.

I’m not sure I’d make any changes from the weekend. Son will be a needed outlet because we’ll have to absorb some pressure. I could understand Johnson for Solomon, but I could also see him being a game-changing sub in the second half. I feel really good about this one, if for no other reason than knowing we’ll have a real go at them for the first time in a while.

I refuse to let myself get confident going into this fixture. It's bitten me on the arse on more than one occasion.
Ange does like stability and consistency in his starting 11, so I think maybe Johnson for Solomon which has already been mentioned, but apart from that, same again.
I'd love nothing more than to see Arteta put in his place by Ange on Sunday but we'll see...

Hope we get a decent ref and no fucking VAR decisions at all (yeah right like that's going to happen). I watched the Goons game on Sunday and they're a bunch of cheaty bastards, fucking Jesus spends more time on his arse than his feet - he managed to recover from what looked like career threatening injuries at least 5 times. Saka is a petulant little cunt, he could be wound up very easily, have a word Mr Romero. They only just managed to beat Everton, even with the elderly Ashley Young playing most of the game, we should have more than enough to beat them- but it's a NLD innit, so who knows?

I think we lose but we try like hell for 90’ and don’t make it easy for them.

A late VAR call to gift them three points.

We get hit on the counter twice, Romero goes in two-footed on Saka to gee the team up and gets a red for his troubles. Hojbjerg goes in at CB, Brennan comes on for Solly...and we slice them up for a draw, showing they're still the same soft gooners.

As long as Romero goes in two footed on someone, misses and his momentum carries him forward towards Arteta and puts him through the back of the manager's dugout, I'll be happy 🤣

I'm equally looking forward to the game and dreading it as well as those cunts are known for finding a way to squeak a win right at the death, even if they've been outplayed.

Good idea. Can you even get carded for "accidental" contact with a non-player?

As to looking forward to, and yet dreading, this encounter, I'm right with you. Half-wish I was neutral, 'cause I feel thisbwill be a terrific match, and I won't be able to enjoy a minute of it.

As long as we perform at our best I'll be happy, regardless of result (this is a long term thing).
I want to see us go toe to toe with them and play them at their level not ours (when it can go horribly wrong). These games are normally over by 30 mins. I want to see us still in it at 90 and if they do turn us over, they've had to work hard for it.A draw is realistic and that would be a very good result. No silly errors today and lets see what happens.

Udogie on Saka. Bissouma on Odegaard. Richie down the middle to batter them. Sonny and Deki to fox their shite defenders. I'd take a draw but it won't be a drab 0-0.

Johnson starting is the only change. Solomon drops to the bench

I will only be happy if we batter them into the ground, a complete humiliation, nothing less will be acceptable. I was thinking of not shaving this morning in case I cut myself and saw red blood - but then I remembered I use an electric shaver. I have not gone anywhere near my drive - the shame, the degradation, the nausea I feel when I have to look at my red car. A fucking red car! What was I thinking? Well, actually I was thinking that it was 800 euros cheaper than all the other colours Mr Kia offered us when we ordered it, but it's fucking red!

They can fuck off back to Woolwich.

Happy Son's down the middle. Our best option and his best position imo. Can't wait for this.

Dirty cheating cunts. All the rolling about on the floor is not eximonious. Why does it have to be that hideous little cunt Saka who scores off of Romero. Cunt.

It's 3 v 2 in midfield. We need Hojberg in to help out. Sarr is not enough alongside Bissouma.
