As we can't actually blame Levy anymore (he's still a cunt)...

We have to have a place to call out the ongoing performance of the club under it's current stewardship...

As I see it, even in it's early days after Levy's departure, we don't appear to be deviating from being run on a balance sheet as opposed to the football field...

We're deep into this boards first transfer window and we have a mediocre DLP to replace one who can't stop sniffing glue in Jamaican nightclubs... And a fullback who just sat his Mock GCSE's...

Our new CEO has made a statement talking about the ambition of the club and the fact that the fan experience isn't matching those ambitions and his and the boards commitment to redress that imbalance...

It read very well, but this season we don't appear to be walking the walk after he has publicly talked the talk...

In reality we're a few results away from being dragged into a relegation fight while our CEO talks about ambition without backing it up in his first transfer window...

Given that Frank was a Levy hire, I'm very surprised he's still in a job. In general, I think they have absolutely no idea what to do.

The board are idiots no doubt, but I'd say on this one the difficulty is Pochettino. The boards bound to know he's the guy that would reignite the fan base. Problem is waiting to get him and who goes in charge until then.

Would be 'arry for me as he'd love 5 months of football with no obligation to carry on.

The Poch thing may well be right. Honestly I love ‘arry, really always did, and it would be great fun. But it could also be a total disaster

We need to be careful with Poch. Has hardly set the world alight since leaving Spurs and the last window he had with us, he bought Tanguy, Lo Celso, Clarke and Sessingnon.

Yes, he has the affinity and connection, but has he still got what we need

He's been in some very difficult situations though--a dysfunctional PSG and Chelsea who chew up managers as much as we do.

He's done OK over here with a kind of limited player group (of course international football is kind of apples and oranges with the premier league) and seems to be getting the players onside. If he could get the USA past the first knockout round that would be a success IMO, and he'll be in demand in England.

Ultimately unless there is some reform in the recruitment and player development areas, and unless we pay better wages (I guess--I really don't know how much our players make) the manager selection process will be nothing more than looking for the next scapegoat, which is a role Frank fills perfectly at the moment IMO.

I‘m just wondering, if we really want Poch, why not go get him now. Pay whatever we need to get him released by the States.

To hire him after the World Cup means we will have limited time to get his players in and more importantly train in pre-season.

His contract is bankrolled by tech billionaire donors. It won’t get bought out.

Agreed.
No way they'd let him go at this stage.
If he had been doing very poorly, then maybe.

Least we'd get some solid car window interviews as we sink into the championship!

Transfer window 1 under the new regime:

The Spurs CEO made a written statement and plea to the fan base, to support him and the club as they worked together to realise the high expectations of this club. This plea came after a terrible string of results that saw player outbursts aimed at the baying crowd of home games, where the team have not won a game in 2026 with them being routinely booed off the pitch at half and full times.

Spurs were promised £150m war chest to bolster Franks squad and additional personnel to change the "style" of play as it was evident that it didn't meet the approval of the fan base or directly relate to the DNA of the club.

Spurs entered the transfer window with a handful of long term injuries and immediately started wracking up more severe injuries to senior players. This has culminated in 13 first team players being unavailable for selection on the first day since the transfer window closing, and only having 13 recognised first team players to name for their last game in January, against Manchester City.

The Spurs captain Christian Romero has openly voiced his frustration with the situation, himself suffering from illness that saw his withdrawal from that game at half time.

Thomas Frank has bizarrely asked the fans to believe in his approach to football and for them to stop booing the dire performances. This has been soundly rejected with large swathes of the fan base calling for another change in manager and continuing their protestations at games.

The disgraced Fabio Patrici declared his intentions to move back to Italy, but committed to helping Spurs through this final transfer period. He and Johan Lange were backed by the new Spurs CEO, Vinai Venkatesham and his £150m war chest, and a public vote of confidence in the beleaguered Spurs manager Thomas Frank.

The collective presided over their transfer window together and as the transfer window shuts, despite losing more players to long term injuries and allowing others to go, be sold or continue on loan, Spurs brought 1 additional first team player to the club.

I didn't think it could be worse than the Levy years.
I didn't believe that we could look more incompetent.
I didn't think we would be this much of a joke to the footballing world.
I didn't think that the football could become this bad this quickly.
I didn't think that after winning our first major honour in 15+ years, that we would death spiral to the point where it isn't a stretch for me to consider us slipping into a relegation battle.
I didn't think we would have more transfer windows where we failed to recruit any players of note to the club, especially while we are in a crisis with barely enough players to make a full squad without resorting to the youth team.

That was worse than the "there is no value in the market" transfer window...

‼️One of Tottenham’s long-standing key sponsors has already notified the club that their partnership will cease in the summer, with others deliberating whether or not to follow.

(🥇) 🚨 NEW: It is claimed that since Daniel Levy’s exit, many sponsors have been DISMAYED by the lack of communication from the top. 😡

Some are believed to still be waiting for an introduction to Vinai Venkatesham or the Lewis family.

Exactly. Did think it was interesting that Gallagher is on £200K a week. Perfectly serviceable player, but that's who we break the wage structure for?

He is filler, he is a utility player, he isn't better than anything we have he simply works harder and isn't injured...

Absolute necessity right now but also a panic buy...
