Is anybody else sad about how it ended with the old forum? Never knew until recently that some of the main posters came here to this one but a lot of the main posters haven’t posted here like Bluecrew/Spursman/Dustin unless I am mistaken!

I lurked and posted sometimes(not a regular) for many years on there and
I have tried lurking on other Tottenham forums but it just isn’t the same and the original forum is broken so all the threads and posts you can look back on are not accessible.

Just wanted to hear people’s thoughts that’s all because like I say the other forums are just not great and I hope we can get some of them posters back here but I doubt it.

Ha ha - the old forum, that was a funny place. All the important ex-members are here or have been here at times, the problem with many of the 'old members' is that lots of us ARE here and they get all upset and cry like babies when they are called cunts. Nobody has any 'rights' here and so some geezers think their rights are being abused when they are fairly criticised (called cunts) when they post something fucking stupid. I AM here, that will put off so many of them. Yid is here, that will put off a few 'cos he don't take no prisoners. This is a scary , wild place, no moderators - we don't need those fuckers, so there's nobody to complain to when someone says something horrid to them.

Funnily enough, even though this place is a free, wild, anarchic place there are far less bust-ups than there used to be in the other place. It IS nice here, everybody is Proper Spursy even that cunt [insert name of cunt here], and I only have 4 blokes on my ignore list - in the other place I probably only had 4 not on my list.

You wouldn’t or most posters here wouldn’t of remembered me as I had about 400/500 posts over many years.

I don’t knew whether sad is the correct term but back then it was a really good active forum and there was people updating the ITK thread regularly and The Tottenham loan and academy thread, Also the injury update thread.

Then you had Dustins tactical analysis which I always looked forward to.

I think the frustration is that a lot more good posters didn’t migrate onto this forum and it was really kept quiet to alot on the other side.

Anyway happy to be here and looking forward to posting more here

Fecking blimey, I have never been included in with the 'decent chaps' before - where do you want me to send the cheque? It would be nice if a few more of the old firm had made it here or stayed around. I think the general apathy surrounding our team has taken its toll. Hopefully those days are gone and we will rise like one of them burning chickens out of the ashes?

CBA with any of them forums been there and done that. COYS is the worst though. Only go on SC to check ITK which is hit and miss now JJetset doesn’t seem to post anymore.

I read somewhere that it is an elabrote ploy by the owner to get people to donate to the forum and keep viewership up. Remember the guy who got his ITK buy climbing trees outside the training ground? Like I say JJetset but I think he has lost his contact at the club.

Like, you, I was on that place for 10 years, and I honestly can't remember but a handful of people that aren't currently on this forum.

I didn’t really know what happened in the end only that it got sold to somebody else and then that’s when it started to decline. Couple off posters I’ve not seen here and I don’t know whether they are goodies or baddies are.

I used to have regular bust ups in that cave with wankers who just used to slag everyone and everything off - before it was necessary, justified with zero rationale. We had Poch working miracles and the football was great but a few, mostly trapped in their bedrooms with a box of tissues, always knew better, and I just couldn’t help myself.

Forget who they were mostly now but CTw01 from Wales was one, Mr Greaves now on SC wanking himself off was another, there was a third ducking moaning moron who used to make up infantile playground style names for those he didn’t like but I forget his name.

White Hart Dutch at least had some intelligence and fought his corner.

Blue Crew was a font of Stadium knowledge, finding and finance before he tired of the place and the kids bringing the place down, before the new owner did an epic job of trashing the whole place - it was dead in the water anyway I guess.

Luckily most of the decent people found their way here.
