Which bird is biggest and gamest?
Haven't a clue ATM as to winner. If Everton score early, Peacock feathers drooping and moulting may be in abundance

Hojberg may be back, him and Bissouma in mid perhaps?

Romero and Dier both out, so Sanchez will likely be at the heart of defence. If Porro and Royal are going to be deployed as WB's then we could potentially be looking at Sanchez/Lenglet/Tanganga as the back 3.

I genuinely don't think we're going to win and we'll be lucky to get a draw.

Elland Road will be on fire if they get an early goal, we'll almost certainly fold.

I have a feeling we will stick with back 4. If we hold on early doors, an Everton goal might be a giant sleeping pill and allow us to win amidst silent tears

Forster, Royal, Sanchez, Lenglet, Davies, Bissouma, Skipp, Porro, Kulusevski, Son, Kane

Subs: Austin, Abbott, Tanganga, Craig, Sarr, Santiago, Danjuma, Lucas, Richarlison

Does look like a back 3 of Sanchez, Lenglet and Davies with Royal and Porro as WB's.

A win would at least be some kind of positive to end such a shitty season but I'll be surprised.

Shows how much you know, fuckwit 🤣

What a way for Lucas to sign off though. Brilliant.

But hey, we've got no European football to look forward to for the first time in 14 years. Thanks Daniel.

Some very basic end of season metrics.

70 Goals For
5th in that department despite playing Conte ball & counter attacking.
We have the ability to score. Imagine if we played more on the front foot...

63 Goals Against
14th despite playing Conte ball & defending most of the game.
Elementary postulate for future managers: If we have the ball it is much harder for the opponent to score.

In the Prem era, it is very rare that a team scores more than 60 goals yet concedes more than 60.

Bravo Lucas!
What a way to sign off...brilliant 👏..Harry seemed emotional at the end there....mmmmm....I wonder. If he goes, good luck to him, he owes us nothing...as long as its not the Chavs with Poch. Anything but that.

Excellent attacking performance and result, will Sir Harry be with us in September, my bet is yes.

Harry will stay, unless United come in with a huge bid.

He won't go abroad while Shearer's record is achievable.

Yep, tend to agree with that. Maybe if Real Madrid say came in next year, he might be tempted to take two years then come back and break the record
But on the whole yes, I think he stays in England till hes past Shearer. If United come in with a huge offer this summer, will Levy sell? Big question, and I have no answer

Delighted for Lucas, that was a much more fitting sendoff, and you could see what it meant to him. He's been very vocal about his love for the club, and at the end of the day, he'll be remembered for that night in Amsterdam.

As for Harry, I'd also be very surprised if he went, there are some decent (and somewhat younger) strikers on the market this summer, and I'd guess Man United would be looking at one of them first. Of course, there are also several clubs in the market for no. 9s, so who knows.

I guess its a bit of a relief this season is over, there's going to be lots to talk about this summer...

I think the obvious issue is that Kane will be in the final year of his contract next season. He's arguably got one last 'big' contract in him before he retires and the Dark Lord would likely rather lose a leg than let him go on a free this time next year.

But then if Kane makes it known he won't be signing a new deal then the club will be in a unique position in a way. They wouldn't want an £80-£120m asset to go for free so they'd arguably have to transfer list him, but he couldn't be dropped because he is who he is.

Even if they transfer list him, Harry can run down his contract. Just as Levy held Kane to his contract , as was his right, ditto for Harry.
The management could of course refuse to play him and have him training with the reserves. But is that likely, I doubt it.
If Harry wants to stay, he'll stay and play. I hope he leaves for a big fee this summer, and I will happily cheer him on, except against us. Even then Id applaud him before and after the game
