Is it too early? Probably but here we go. I think we will need to win 6 of our last 8 games AND beat the goons whenever that game will be to grab 4th spot this season. Here are my predictions:

Those results would make the table look like this - with just the NLD to play

4th Arsenal 72 points
5th Tottenham 70 points
6th United 69 points

We need a massive effort to stand a chance, and we need the fecking goons to not have such a good run in. My heart says we will get that 4th spot, but my brain and my computer say we will be 6th and that will be, might be, possibly be, who the fuck knows - be enough to avoid the Uro Conference thingy and be in the tin pot uro cup not the plastic yoghurt pot cup

Strangely I also looked at this (run-in) for the first time this morning and thought Arsenal's is tougher than ours. But then they have a game in hand and 3 points ahead. Ultimately I think we'll finish 5th, but it's a funny old game isn't it, what if Lacazette get's injured or Saka, or Kane or Son?

To be honest if we finish fifth from where we were at the end of the Mourinho era and then Nuno, i'll be more than happy and decent European football next year. 4th would be remarkable. Let's see. my biggest hope is that Conte stays and Levy for the first time ever backs him properly.

Bentancur, Dier, Romero, Kulu, Kane and Son are starting to form a strong spine to the team. We're starting to look like we know what we're doing and less like a rabbit in headlights at the back.

If only we could have that week against Saints and Wolves back......ho hum.

I've no fucking clue... but I think in order to have any chance of keeping Kane and Contè... we need champions league football...

I'm not gonna throw my toys out of the pram when Levy doesn't back the manager again, because let's face it... we're fucking kidding ourselves if we think it's actually going to happen...

Will it matter this season if we get 6th? I think that will be enough for EL , but I haven't got a degree in quantum football and I can't work it out. Of course 4th would be the best and it is not impossible, fecking difficult but we know they could do it if they really wanted. I think we need 4th to try and make sure Kane stays. I don't think Levy will be able to hold onto him again and with his contract expiring in 2024 the tight old bastard will not want to do another Dele and risk losing all that money.

You're almost certainly right, and I have very few toys left to throw, but it's fucking depressing if it happens again. I mean what planet does the bloke live on, he's secured one of the best managers in world football, the fans are back onside, and if he does the dirty EVERYONE is going to wish him out, not just a few of us.

If the recent additions continue to improve and let's face it they've already made a big difference, we might only need 3 more - x 2 full backs and a centre back maybe. Then we'll have about 6 great players, 6 very good players and 6 squad players. Something like that anyway, good enough for EL and CL and maybe even to have a go in the PL next year.

Chelsea will be in a mess? Liverpool are starting to go into 'transition?' and we always beat City, ha ha.

Genuinely feel like it will all come down to the NLD, whenever that is. Because we will of course win that one 15-0, I voted fourth.

I voted 6th, because we are turning the corner but I think we still have a couple of fuck-ups left in us. If that is enough to convince Conte to stay, then I'd consider it a great success and be very optimistic about next season.

At least no-one thinks we're fucked, which we were back about end of October time.......we couldn't even create a chance back then, let alone score a goal

You just know we're gonna get screwed with the scheduling of the Arsenal match. But most likely I think we will Finish 5th. Finishing 4th isn't out of the question, but we'll have to be SO much more consistent than we have been. Just seeks unlikely.

We’re on a run three league wins on the bounce I make it and a goal difference of +11. Times they are a changing? As long as these exact 11 players stay fit, we don’t need any of that Emerson Royal and Winksy nonsense thank you very much. Wrap Romero, Bentancur, Son, Kulu and Kane in warm fluffy blankets and let them dine on peacock and Champagne, but keep them fit…..for that is the way to wins…and more wins.

Agree with a lot of that. So important that our 1st XI stay fit & firing. Add some My Pillows to those fluffy blankets.

Have to believe with so much comfort, we'll get 4th.
I don't know if they're resilient enough to live like Spartans.

Just being pedantic, I think it's 2 league wins in a row. Wishing for more.

My mistake but it’s four wins out of last five…..that’s a bit of a run, a bit of momentum….it’s all good- let’s hope Mr Spursy isn’t around the corner.

Revised prediction from the sausage machine following the recent very nice results:

Tottenham Hotspur , 4th, 71 points
Arsenal , 5th , 70 points
United , 6th , 70 points

That nailed on, guaranteed prediction is with a predicted draw against the goons, so it will probably be even better!

I hate it when they say ‘it’s in our own hands’ we always immediately fail when in charge of our own destiny. Spursy some call it, fucking annoying is my favoured term. Let’s see….this weekend was a good start

Conte is the real deal. What a coach. If Levy backs him this summer and we hold on to Kane, fuck me, I'll be nursing a semi...
What, for like the whole season ? 🤣

Careful now, down with this sort of thing. That would be a medical emergency called priapism and you would have to go to the hospital. The recognised treatment is a kick in the nuts every five minutes and being forced to watch videos of old ladies doing things that old ladies should not do.

Dunno about that. I think semi-priapic is a condition to which we should all aspire.

And old ladies should have fun as well. As long as their fun doesn't consist of kicking people in the jerseys, and as long as we (I) don't have to watch.

It's looking like the NLD is going to be for all the marbles.

They've got United on Saturday and then West Ham the following weekend which are really the only two fixtures left where they could potentially slip up. We've got Liverpool before we play them as well so I think we're going to need them to drop points somewhere ideally.

We had three bad results all at home - Saints, Wolves and Brighton. I've omitted Burnley and City as they cancel each other out. With those 9 points we would be home and hosed by now. Oh well........business as usual for us!!
