Time to call out City

L

Le-Hope Vic

Player in Training.
The Man City fiasco has gone on far too long and they've tarnished all the silverware they've 'won' during that period. It's now looking possible that the sheer cost of the PL trying to impose the law might mean City - because of their bottomless pockets - will get away with it. All fans in all grounds should adopt the song: 'Win cos you're cheating' (to the tune 'sing when you winning) and the chant: 'Oi, City - SHAME ON YOU' in the style of Harry Enfield's Angry Frank character.

Lol, who is this guy...?

Look, I love a sing along as much and the next geezer, but suggesting that we all live in mansions, drive Bugatti's and can afford a ticket to the Lady Gaga/Iron Maiden/NFL quarterback show pony stadium, to watch a game of old fashioned football...!!!

Pah, I'll just sit at home eating my braised unicorn bagels, wearing my Chihuahua fur slippers, in my silk kimono, while my maid tuggs me off and my butler sings your fucking song...!!!

While I agree that (to paraphrase your post) Citeh are actually robbing bastards who have effectively stolen the game from poor folk and they should be punished for it, I don't think the Premier League actually want to punish them as they are the big ticket item, they are the cherry on the cake, they're the worlds new Galactico's... Who would want to fuck that up. What business wants to punch it's self in the bollocks that badly...?

Now add in the soppy cunts who pay circa £150 a month to watch football on their tellybox all over the fucking world resulting in money, specifically the continued flow of money in one particular direction, means that anything to stop, slow or hinder that is very unlikely.

Spurs are not without blame. Largest ticket prices in Europe (you may have seen me elude to this earlier in my post) and a gentrification of an area of London that has seen residents and many generations of actual Spurs fanatics forced out of the local area. We're a massive part of the money problem.

Yes, our fiscal model isn't based off of killing migrants workers in oil fields, but it is based off of tearing the arse of of one of the most deprived parts of London and gentrifying places where generations of real supporters grew up, pricing them out of the area in favour of a never ending supply of fans for a day, who spend shit boat loads of cash in the club shop and on corporate packages.

Don't go the games, don't pay for their TV, don't buy shirts, don't fund their racket.

Continue to support your club by trying to get it back. All clubs fans need to be (you'll like this bit) singing from the same hymn sheet, as partial fan ownership, fairer ticket pricing, and a million other things that allow fans to shape the experience need to be introduced before I start to do anything other than spout my bile on internet forums, and search for terrible virus ridden streams every Saturday afternoon...!!!

Good luck your your catchy song though...👍🏼
