I'm going to the game and I hope we win convincingly , we had to put up with them singing "Tottenham get battered everywhere they go" last season. I'd love to return the favour and sing Fulham in the same song tomorrow.............COYS

We're worse than last season... IMO.

We have some players back, but they seem like their level of fucks, match that of the fans at this point in time and I don't see how Ange motivates them out of that mindset... I don't see what levers the fella has to pull at this point and I don't know if he is "the arm around them, build them up" kind of guy... He maybe, but I don't know enough about his history to comment on that side of his coaching.

This side needs a solid dominant performance to rescue any sense of success from this season and they need to go on a very decent run over the next 10 games while hoping other results drop their way...

Only by doing that and maybe some silverware, can Ange keep his job IMO.

I'll reiterate, not necessarily my preference as I don't think we've seen the best of him or his side but I do think we've seen some of his worst and that may be enough for Levy and the most part of the fan base to judge him by.

Anyway

COYS and all that shit.

Totally Agreed - most supporters were bowled over after the first 10 games and were prepared to put up with loss after loss because they thought it was just a sticky patch . Whereas in reality the first 10 games were a fluke and the real measure of Ange Postecoglou came during and After that Chelsea game . If Ange can like you say go on a long run of wins and win EL - only then should he be considered to be given another season in charge . I don't believe he will and there's only one outcome . But the big question is who will take on the poison chalice that Tottenham seems to be . We're becoming a bloody soap opera . Maureen , Conte and Nuno have all done well since their departure from Tottenham . Who out there would the supporters accept as the next manager because none of them were totally sold on AP from my recollection . I know we've been in the top 6 more often than not in the last 10yrs but is that really what we want to be . I want us to challenge for the title , but I don't see that happening unless we get a manager that can reproduce the same sort of results as Poch did with the young squad he inherited . As for Levy - I have a suspicion that he'll sell the football side of the club and cream off the stadium and the hotels like the shrewd businessman he is .

Under Levy, Poch's success has been an anomaly. It went against the grain. And even then, Levy stunted the progress. Levy's perception of success is much different than the players, staff, & fans.

Sorry, but nope...

Ange has been short changed by Levy and suffered horrendous luck with injuries.

I do blame his inflexibility for some points we've dropped, and I do think our squad is fragile mentally (but we've always been like that).

I've seen those games where it worked and I am 100% after that and can take the ups and downs to get there... I'm not gonna pretend I won't be pissed off along the way when we fuck up, but I believe in the project.

If Ange loses his job it'll be because of what Levy has done, what the players haven't done, what the fans and media have done and a little bit of what Ange has done...

Yes it's getting beyond a long standing joke now . He just brought in Conte and Moureen to appease the supporters but then failed to back either of them with new players . We've spent over £600mil in the past few years but not one World Class player has been bought with that money . The wages we pay is a problem too .

Haven't all the managers been short changed by Levy ? We haven't bought one world class player apart from when we went and bought Romero and even he has his faults and will probably be gone at the end of the season . It's only Ange that has been bought players and he's failed so far to make inroads on the top half of the table .

Buying players and getting the players you want is different things...

We won't pay the wages to get top tier, we won't pay the fees to get too tier...

Levy has always been the problem, just as S&G said a few posts ago.

Looks like Gray in midfield and an intruiging front 3.

Hopefully Gray, Spence become top tier . Perhaps even Bergval.. Van de Ven could be class if he has had all his injuries already ( no more) and yeah.. Levy sucks

Think VDV will change the way he operates over the summer and we could see a fucking monster next season... Big big change though so could also take a bit more time... He's fucking great now and they know why he keeps getting crocked, so some hard work between now and next season to change how he moves could make him an absolute worldie in the end.

Gray and Bergval are already on their way and Spence always had it in him... My only fear with Spence is that he was fucked about by the club for so long that he actually resent the club for holding him back until now...

He has always had all the right attributes to be a phenomenal wide player... I think that's eventually where he will end up...

Anyway COYS, may be home for the second half.

Well said.. maybe even play VDV as a wing back sometimes.. he'd be fun out there Kyle Walker esque .. and hopefully Spence keeps getting playing time and is happy here .. COYS

Scrappy game so far. They’ve probably been the better side as well.

Brilliant bit of skill from Tel there
