Tough place to go, but we should have enough to get a positive result and stay unbeaten.

Match Facts

  • Galatasaray have won just one of their last six meetings with English sides (D2 L3),with this their first ever game against Tottenham Hotspur.
  • All three of Tottenham’s previous meetings with Turkish opponents have been against Besiktas (W1 D1 L1),most recently a 1-0 away loss in the 2014-15 UEFA Europa League.
  • Galatasaray have had the most shots (64),shots on target (27),have the highest expected goal tally (8.1) and have scored the joint-most goals (9) of any side in the UEFA Europa League this season.
  • Tottenham Hotspur have spent 69.3% of their UEFA Europa League matches in the lead this season – only Lazio have led for a higher percentage of their games (80%).

Interesting indeed. Sounds like our cunt is playing attacking football once he leaves our squad. I hear Conte is doing something similar at Napoli. Motherfuckers, the both of them.

Going to be a tough game. They're currently unbeaten in 11 across all competitions apparently.

Two more matches until the break to the end of January so it would be nice to remain undefeated going in to the new year.

Apparently Richarlison is out "for a while" with a hamstring injury.

You'll be reassured to know that said motherfucker is still playing lousy football, but at Fenerbahce. I would be seriously dreading this game if he was managing Galatasaray.

Just twigged this, just now. Was very puzzled why he'd end up with Sanchez after all the bullying, and also why Osimhen would choose to work with him. This makes much more sense. Gonna be a tough one with all the injuries. A chance for our youths to show their quality? We musn't take Ipswich for granted.

Hard to know how to approach it, although Ange's hand is somewhat forced by injuries--the newest one being Moore, who apparently has some sort of bug and didn't travel. But take three points in this one, and we're all but certain to advance.

Looks like we have rested a few for the league. With this new format, I think this is a game we can afford to lose and still qualify for the next round. Ange thinks the same

Looks a pretty strong XI under the circumstances. On the other hand there are some kids on the bench I’ve never heard of…

The atmosphere in that stadium when we’re in possession is scary ..

You’d usually wonder if a goal would silence the crowd but this crowd would probably bloody riot

Lovely ball from Gray. And you've got to love a teenager giving it to the crowd at Galatasaray of all places.

This commentator is being really harsh.

Anyway, this was always going to be tough for us regardless of the team we selected

Osimhen is destroying Davies and Dragusin.

Still think this was a calculated risk by Ange considering where we are overall in the Europa League table. Still keeps us in the top 8.

FFS. Lankshear. You could see that coming a mile off as soon as the ref didn't give the foul on him

Michy Batshauyi on. If you're ever wondering where a footballer has gone, the answer is probably Galatasaray.
