A woman goes to the Doctor desperately begging for help. She tells the doctor my fanny talks. She pulls down her knickers and her fanny says `Liverpool are going to win the cup`

The Doctor sits back and replies `Im afraid we are in the middle of an epidemic. Lots of cnuts have started talking like this`

Lets Fucking Go!

We’ve played them 27 times at Anfield.

Drawn 6, won 1 and lost 19.

Even with those numbers, I was completely convinced we’d get battered in the first leg and we won.

And they’re due an off-day sooner or later so ..

We’re also averaging around 12/1 for the win as well so definitely worth a punt.

Ange just said Van de Ven won't feature in this one, but that he hasn't reinjured himself.

It's a pity he won't feature but there was a ridiculous amount of speculation a few nights ago that he'd reinjured himself to the point where he'd need major surgery and would be out for the season.

At least he'll hopefully fit for the final

It's games like this that I really want to trust Ange, but don't. All we need is a nil nil draw to advance. No way in hell is Ange playing for that result. Guess we have to settle for a 7-5 win! :)

I'm not sure. Would you not say he adapted his approach at Brentford on the weekend?

I smell bullshit.

VdV had a very soft run around for half a game a week ago. And now he can’t take any part in a big cup semi final after 7 days rest?

Nope, I am not buying what Ange is selling here. Something must be amiss.

Think he'll mix it up. He defo had a more cautious approach against Brentford. He now at last realises he needs to adapt his approach due to the players he has available. It's taken a while but i think the penny has finally dropped!
I'm hoping it's going to be one of those memorable nights but EVERYONE has got to be on it. Concentration has to be 100%. But we have to be disciplined. Salah and Diaz will be dropping like a stone when he feels contact but i just have a good feeling about this. All the pressure is on them. If we're sensible we have a chance. If we're not, it could be over by half time.

I CAN SMELL THE SILVER !!!!!

As much as I want to win this game. The thought of losing to Newcastle in the final is worse x 1000

So hard to say with hamstrings. My kid is going through the same injury right now. He'll feel 100% and look sharp at training, and then feel a little niggle. Very frustrating injury to have.

If we don't go through, I'll be willing them to win it tbh. Better than either of the other two shower of cnuts.

We are getting to the Ledley King point with Micky where he trains on an exercise bike and only plays once per week.

He’s fragile as fuck.

If we do go through and go on to win the thing, nobody can say we don't deserve it. To have beaten City, United and Liverpool along the way would be some going.

He has adapted & rightfully so.

IIRC, Spence played on the left & quite frankly nullified Salah despite being far more adventurous than Porro on the right. In other words, both fullbacks weren't bombing forward all match like usual.

Spence has that recovery speed & I hope Ange utilizes him again at LB.

Wonder what our CB pairing will be? Does he start the new guy, and if so, is it Gray or Davies that sits? Personally I’d stick with Gray, but who knows

So up for this.
Will be going up the street from my office to watch this "noon" kickoff for me.
Crypty! Where are you Pal?
Hopefully we get through this & we'll be watching the Final together while you're in town.

Feels like we are gonna get fleeced 2-5 (with our 2 coming down 5-0). Apologies for the negative thoughts

Mate, it’s a 7am Friday kickoff for me here in Melbourne (in about 6 hours time, I’m just off to bed having seen one of your national icons Bryan Adams in concert tonight).

We fly out to Vancouver on the 28th.

I read something earlier that made me laugh. It said something like "Every Spurs fan is clock watching and obssessing over the game as the hours tick away to kick off but every Liverpool fan probably won't start thinking about it until kick-off"

I hate them. Not AS much as when Klopp was there with his horse teeth and chest punching shenanigans but I still hate them.

I can't wait for tonight tbh...

I may be in the minority, but I certainly rate Klopp as a manager.
I'm not as close to the goings on around LFC & what you in England hear & see.
But surely there are worse out there to take the 'reigns' of Spurs if Ange is out.

Hope you enjoyed the show.
I used to see Bryan driving the neighbourhood here by the beach* every so often.

*beach - yes, we are not all in igloos ice fishing & chewing on walrus fat here in Canada

Fuck these Bin Dipping fucks...!

I'm never fucking confident nowadays so what the fuck does it matter what I think...

Let's just ensure we don't give them anything... Let's ensure we compete for as long as we can and if we do that we may just get something out of it, only to loose to the fucking barcodes...

It would be the most spursy thing of all time to get to the final having beaten United, City and Liverpool only to lose to a team who haven’t won any silverware for 70 years ..

It certainly changed a bit, but I don't think it was a complete departure. Would be happy to be proven wrong tonight. I've never so pumped for a League Cup match.
