A teacher in Liverpool had a new class in, and wanting to get "in" with the kids decided to talk about football.
"I'm a Liverpool FC fan!" She proclaimed proudly. "Who else supports Liverpool?" Immediately, every hand went up. Every hand that is, except one. Little Jessica at the back kept her resolutely down.
"Jessica!" The teacher said "you don't support Liverpool? Who do you support?"
"Well miss," she replied "my family is originally from Londom and my parents support Tottenham Hotspur and so do I!"
"Jessica," the teacher said, somewhat patronisingly, "you can't just do something because your parents do it. I mean, what if your mum was on drugs and a prostitute, and your dad was a thief? Would you copy them then?"
"No miss," Jessica replied, "if that were the case, then I'd be a Liverpool fan!"
