Random brain fart with regards to Heather Mills. I remember the day she had her "accident" and I swear blind that I was in a newsagents looking at the early editions of the Evening Standard where they'd reported on it and they'd said that it was actually her running out into the road between two parked cars that had been the cause.
The subsequent editions made no mention of it so you'd obviously assume that they'd had clarification about what had happened but it always stuck with me and made me wonder if it was true and they'd killed the story for "reasons".
As far as the match goes, we'll need to win by at least 8-0 to stand a chance in the return leg so clearly that's what will happen ..

I'm expecting an absolute thrashing and I have a horrible feeling the end of Anges time at the club shortly following it...
I'll reiterate that this I feel is a mistake, but I can see a terrible result bringing the curtain down on this show...
I hope I'm wrong and the club stand by him and back him through this window... But if there's finances available and they have (I could only realistically see Potter doing it although Poch is available) a man lined up, they could be given the responsibility to get what they want from the market as soon as they land...

If we came away with only a small defeat tonight then I suspect Ange would be safe for the time being but if we get absolutely battered again then I think @Yid may well be right and that will be the end.
You especially have to consider the situation with West Ham as well with Potter expected to take control, at least until the end of the season. If the Dark Lord feels he could hijack that situation and get Potter in then he absolutely wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger.
It's weird with West Ham though as we appointed Ange just two weeks to the day after they appointed Lopetegui and they've only got a fractionally worse record than we have, even though we've lost 10 and they've lost 9.
All I can hope for tonight is maybe we rattle them early on with a goal and see what happens. But then the second leg is at Anfield so ..
