Mickey is doubtful, and Davies is out. Johnson is also listed as doubtful, as is Moore. I guess the good news for us is that they might have one eye on their League Cup semifinal with Celtic on Sunday. Out of curiosity, I did look at our EL-eligible players, and there are several CBs there, including Alfie Dorrington, who I thought I remember someone saying was pretty good. We also have a guy named Dante Cassanova. Anyone with a name like that has to feature for us.

This is not at all unexpected given our predicament. Every match we play is going to be a grind, through until January at least. We just need to get what we can and hope (or at least this Yid does) that Levy doesn’t get trigger fingered.

The good news is that if we can somehow grind out a win here, we’re in good shape to go through comfortably without the additional playoff games. But that’s a big if.
