I don't even know if we can field a different XI from our other games with all our injuries and sicknesses...?

It's the FA Cup final, Tottenham vs Arsenal. Tickets sold out in five minutes, the whole city is heading to Wembley. A man notices at half time that the fella in front has had an empty seat next to him the whole match, this is baffling considering how important this game is.

So he asks him: "Ey mate, how come there's nobody sitting next to you?"

He replies "That was my wife's seat, we've been going the game together for 15 years now, but she sadly passed away recently"

"Oh I'm sorry for bringing it up, terrible news, but do you not have any friends or family you could have gave the spare ticket to?"

"Well yeah, but they're all at her funeral"

Lets fucking go!

Spurs are going to play there & on an artificial surface.

No disrespect to Tamworth, but the team I play for here in Football's wilderness, our ground is larger than this.

The Beauty & Intrigue of the FA Cup. So many possibilities.

This is why the FA cup is Magical...

That could have been me in my prime standing opposite Spurs heroes...

Love it.

Very interesting to see who starts. May as well give Whiteman his debut in goal and make it 3 goalie debuts in a week. Hopefully see Mikey Moore from the start. Maybe the new South Korean lad too plus Lanksheer.

Am very excited about this, hoping I can see it. Hoping there's some coverage, somewhere, that I can dig up on the day.

And yeah, play the kids, by all means.

In the UK it's being shown on a terrestrial channel, ITV. They also have a website called ITVX where you can stream their content. I think it might be free so maybe (might need a VPN) you can access it.

So apparently they have a guy named Tom Tonk that can absolutely launch a throw in. Further than Rory Delap if the stories are to be believed. Also, I read that one side of their pitch slopes considerably toward the corner. Personally I'd rather watch it on a muddy potato patch of a surface than the plastic stuff, but I am really looking forward to this.

The FA Cup is special. The money men have done their best to push it to the back but it's still a unique competition that's worth a lot more to the real fan than any amount of money....

Anyway, don't play too many youngsters. Kill the tie in 30 minutes...THEN bring them on.

Such a dumb fucking question, no need for it to be worded in that way.

Brainless journo. That sounds like someone who quite clearly has no concept of the FA Cup or the fact that a game like this, by it's very nature is what football should be all about. Respect. Regardless of status.
Something that she clearly doesn't grasp.

Just read something that did tickle me.

"I sense a cup upset tomorrow. Tottenham are going to win."

Strong side but I’d like to see some changes at half time at least when the game is (hopefully) won.

Resting Spence?
Realised Solanke is a bust?
Love to see Moore get a full 90 mins and maybe notch a couple.

I assume the Solanke opinion is tongue in cheek mate?

He’s been great.

City smashed 8 past Salford last night, I expect the same from us today.

Reckon it’s a soft 3-0 win with Ange hopefully resting a few at the half.

Soz mate, I'm not into it, I don't rate him simply based in what he has done or lack of it here...

People saying his work rate is this and that... That is the absolute minimum to get near the squad... He needs to do a lot more on the ball in better areas for me.

Am I judging him on his pricetag... Maybe but that aside I don't think he offers enough in the right areas.

11 goals in 27 appearances is not a bad return for his first season. I think if he ends the season with 20+ then I think that’s a good return.

He is not an elite striker, so I do not expect him to to get 25+.

We do need someone else to share the workload

I’m kind of on the fence about him, but he would be useful today. Need a physical presence in the no. 9 position.

Surely Dorrington is good enough to play against a non-league side ?

I would have expected at least one of the CB’s to be rested ahead of the NLD next weekend.
