Yes, I appreciate how he drives the team forward, but be creative and take chances in the other team's half, not our own. And it would have to come from coaching--he doesn't have many role models in terms of decision-making among the senior midfield players

I've just got in from the game . What a fiasco - 1-0 down within 3mins , the players looked at each other as if it was something they expected . The calamity 2nd goal - those happen instead of pushing the ball aside Vicario pushed it out at Spence and it bounced off him into the net . The wolves supporters sang songs - To which we sang "How shit must you be it's only 2-0" and "You're nothing special we lose every week" . Half time 2-0 . 2nd half and we made some substitutions , Tel scored a tap in 2-1 , Romero had a brain fart and we conceded from it - we were 3-1 down and wolves supporters were singing "you're fucking shit" , to which we replied "we're fuckin shit" . Richarlison scored a header 3-2 then Bergvall had a brain fart and we conceded 4-2 . The talk in the minibus on the way home was of Ange's job and that he'll likely get sacked if we lose on Thursday . Me personally I think he'll get sacked even if he wins EL trophy . this has got to be our worst season for 20 odd years . Losing to 3 , could be 4 of the bottom 5 teams is just unacceptable . As is losing 17 games in a single season - and the season still has 6 games to go . We could end up losing 20 games , that's borderline relegation form . I've decided I'm not going to the Liverpool game , I've just about had enough of sitting in traffic because they close half the roads on Sundays and Bank holiday Mondays for roadworks or engineering works . It takes over 5 hours to get home and when you're on the end of a defeat it hangs heavily on you and seems to take forever to get home . I wasn't going to the Wolves game but changed my mind last minute . Let's see if we beat EF on Thursday , maybe I'll change my mind about the bindippers game...........Up The Spurs

As for the players you mentioned, Romero may be considered elite internationally, but he certainly doesn't look it here. Nor does he seem "captain" worthy. Seems he & others don't give a shit.
Bissouma looked quality at Brighton but not here. And that goes for Maddison & so many others. That may be down to the system as so many are playing below the levels they were at at their previous teams.
Then again, at times we've looked so brilliant but those times seem so rare & are now distant memories.
Every little positive seems to have a "but" which speaks volumes.

I personally think that we should cut Ange loose right now... I have never called for a managers to go, even Cunté and That Cunt who I was happy to see the back of both, but at this point we're just wasting time...
I think any time a new manager even a temporary one has to reinvigorate and reshape our philosophy, will be very very well spent...
It's obvious that these players are being beat into a shape they just don't fit into and they need Something new that maybe plays to their strengths.
It may even convince some of those who are good enough to play at this level to think about hanging around... Most of them can continue to fuck off however...

I get you @Yid but I am not sold on sacking the guy with the EL still in play. We seem like we have all our eggs in that basket and that the players see the league as a distraction as a consequence. Now that mindset is on the manager 100% but to march him 4 days before our biggest game of the season? Not for me.
Best outcome would be to win the EL and part ways thereafter. Ange will have hit his key performance metrics, we can part ways amicably and he’ll have left a legacy and no doubt be fondly remembered over time.
I think if you sack him now, any hope of winning the EL goes with him. It would be too destabilising given the timing.
