Poor Poch. If he thinks he's gonna get incomings in January following our best start ever, the poor bastard is delusional. Only way he's getting any more than a new equipment manager is to go on an extended losing streak. #lLeveyed!

Fuck knows what goes on behind the scenes and in Levy’s head. Only rationale I can think of is that either a) we couldnt get/afford the players we wanted, or more likely b) we needed the cash for the Stadium.

We’re in a tricky situation now....we’re at a level where new players need to be world class, and they are expensive. Plus we’ll have a Stadium that has cost a fortune and likely we’ll over budget. Interesting there’s no naming rights announced yet....Not sure what the plans are for the hotel etc. Pretty sure there’s a lot of stuff going on behind the scenes we don’t know about.

Yep. I have been a massive advocate of Daniel Levy for some time now. But the charade is up as far as I am concerned. I am all for finding value in the transfer market but when you have a squad as good as this one, surely you must take advantage and push on to win trophies.

Everything that I can see points to the notion that Daniel Levy is fattening us up to be sold. All of the investment is going on infrastructure and there is a distinct lack of money being allocated to improve the squad. The writing is on the wall I am afraid.

Completely agree,I fail to understand the extreme pro Levy support from some still. The look at what he has delivered with the new stadium as if it is his or Lewis`money being used to fund it,or the NFL extras,,or the lodge,or the supermarket,or lilywhite house, technical college, percy house,WHL goods yard,2 hotels in park lane and various other properties in N17.No doubt if it was an episode of grand designs then yes Levy is a money making genius, but one league cup in his 17 years and the promise of increased revenue to come do people really still believe that this will be reinvested in the playing side of the football club??
And if you want to lord up Levy over delivering the stadium then dont brush off supporters anger with him over the delays, either he is responsible or Mace are,its either be thankful to populous&mace for the stadium or its all their fault, and same with Levy.

The last 3 years we have missed a trick, sat on having a very good first eleven because we cant improve the team, what utter tosh,a cup game tomorrow lets see this team that cant be improved when we have a handful of injuries and play 2 games in 2 days, and thats why we throw away domestic cups every year, because we havent spent wisely enough to have 25 worthy players to chase 4 competitions.£29m in 4 years is Pochettino`s net spend, championship teams invest more in their teams than that.

Levy has no love of winning titles, trophies only counting his money, what a difference to the sadly departed Leicester owner,if it had been Levy anyone think fans would be uttering the words "kind, generous, caring" or just he was a tough business man.The only plus side is we could have an even bigger cunt than him at the helm, stick that on your CV next time.

I have also historically been a Levy fan for the way he has transformed the club after we missed the jump with Sugar at the helm. Whilst I appreciate the size and complexity of the projects undertaken, @skiathospurs is right the money is all on the 'value' of infrastructure and thus selling price. The result is lies to the manager and fans, it won't last and the best period in our history since the early 80's will disappear as fast as it arrived if we're not careful. Levy talks about a custodian of the club for years and future generations to come, well now is a time to prove that you can as he has talked of in the past, balance the investment of playing staff with bricks and mortar.

Best period for the club (owners) financially, most barren period honours wise.Full of trademarking and posting slogans,"game is about glory" , "To dare is to do",daring to be 2nd,3rd or 4th best loser isnt glory,we are becoming what we used to laugh at a certain other club about.

Anyway, back to the thread, transfers, yes please, the same out the doors we have been waiting for and some fresh blood,if we cant get enough for janssen, nkoudou, llorente,if we arent going to play KWP or Foyth, then just get rid, better for the players themselves, better for the wage bill I dont expect +£40m signings, but we could have had a punt on Barkley,or kluivert last window but jan and dembele are getting older, toby may well be off,we need one or two in defence or defensive midfielder, and the impossible task of partner or competition for Kane,

Excuse my ignorance.... but Mousa is a 6 foot 90 kilo ballerina who keeps the ball like a fat kid with cake.... this lad looks like the fucking milkybar kid...!!!
You're right, but European football is littered with talent that looks a bit lightweight - our own Lucas Moura, Dybala, Modric, Xavi, Iniesta, and Messi is no giant eh? Sissoko can pick up the Dembele guantlet!!

You would be surprised how 'small' players like Giggs and Scholes and others are real life.

I wonder if Levy will open his wallet now. We have at least four more games in January and February now and probably need a bit more depth in the squad. If I were a betting man, I would be slapping a quid on fuck all happening.
