Yeah, I know it's early. Shut up 🤣

Still, this would be fantastic if true.

I'm not sure, but I think I may have forgiven him forgotten about whatever might have happened many moons ago...

Rather unsurprisingly, Bergwijn wants out

Can't really blame him. He never plays. Not saying he's better than Kulu or Lucas, but I understand his perspective.

I think Lucas has his role at the moment of impact sub, but then Lucas looked seriously off the pace on Sunday as well. But then I get the feeling he'd stay anyway out of love for the club.

He has said he wants to go home... I wouldn't be surprised if he left in the summer. And he has been a tremendous servant to the club. If he wants to go home to retire... with my blessings.

Bergwine has overall been another flop.

£27 million quids worth of "meh"

But I'll never forget injury time at the king power.
If he wants to go, fair enough...cheers, bye bye and good luck!....NEXT!

Will this be another frugal window for Levy? All the players out on loan coming home? FatBelly will probably be coming back, Bryan Gil won't. Lo Celso, dunno. Pape Sarr seems to be a big disappointment, so does Jack Clarke. Cameron Carter Vickers is still a Spurs player! Who the fuck knew that? Probably everyone except me.

I expect Levy will be especially 'frugal' as he hasn't received any wedge for Dele yet - first £10m after 20 appearances - will that ever happen?

Not in an Everton jersey...

I can see him being pumped out to Italy or Spain for peanuts or another contrived loan deal to some other lower tier side like Brentford.

He won't play in the Championship, and I can't see him playing for them (or anyone TBH) of any real note any time soon.

We and Don Tony will all be stiffed for real players yet again.

The loans we made we'll probably haggle over and contrive to fuck them up loosing what is becoming the new spine of our squad.

We'll keep our powder dry over H right up until the last knockings saying "he isn't for sale, never was and he must stay and honour his contract". We'll then sell him with hours to go and be fucked for spending the windfall on anything that resembles a pale replacement.

The Don will loose his shit and jack it all in 5 games into the season when he has Chris Woods to replace Kane and looses Romero due to Levys masterful negotiations over pennies.

Doh'erty will resume being garbage, Sessegnon will continue to look like he hates his job, Son will smile and not really get why he signed a new contract with this pile of shit club and Harry Winks will continue to be way way out if his depth.

Fuck Levy.

If it is, then we all know, if we didn't already the limit of Levy's ambition and his real 'objectives'. A few things......
1. I read in the paper this weekend that the new potential owner of Chelsea, tried to buy Spurs in 2014. One of Mr Boely's consortium is a life long Spurs fan. The bid failed because they rejected Levy's valuation for the club.
2. If he doesn't back Conte properly, then we will likely lose him and possibly Kane as well. Levy will be mindful of Dele Alli's loss in value.
3. We need to sign Romero for whatever he wants, he's only on loan at present.

In my view Levy views top 4 as good enough for his financial model - and his secret better financial model is the European Super League, which will happen eventually, when enough 'big' clubs are signed up. At that point, all big clubs will be franchises and owned by foreign investors.

Short term levy will invest as much/little as he has to to keep the chattering classes quiet and wait for Mr big pockets to come along. The sale of Chelsea for £3+ billion, and Jim Ratcliffe offered £4bn will have pleased him a great deal.

LEVY OUT.

Is there a seat left for us with Newcastle now seemingly having more money than they know what to do with?

Will we be invited to the party? I'm not sure under Levy's stewardship we will continue to meet the requirements.

If that means we fight it out with what's left of the domestic honours for relative peanut, then so be it.

I think I'd rather that than be gobbled up by "the race to sports wash their countries reputation" league.

If we had any say in the matter you might be right, but the clubs care increasingly less about the fans it seems to me.

Lucas will always be a legend for "that" hat trick so I'd be inclined to agree. Let him leave on a free and give him a huge send off.

The word is that Villareal want to keep Lo Celso and will be attempting to sign him permanently as he's been a pretty big success with them. He's a decent player, just a player who will probably never be suited to the Premiership.

With Dele, I don't think we're going to get anything for him at all because it seems far more likely that Everton will be releasing him. He can't come back as it was a permanent transfer.

I imagine he'd get a few approaches though. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up with Bournemouth personally.

If this could actually happen ..

It would all depend on Paratici I suppose and how much leeway he's been given by the deranged pipsqueak to accept realistic offers for players.

Gold is right. We have to back Conte and back him big. The stats show the impact he's had in just a few months so give him the players he wants and who can fit his system and the sky is potentially the limit.

Well

I hate the fact that you’ll almost inevitably be proven right.
I don't want to be mate... I want my socks blown off (an ongoing joke from another time, in a part of the internet that doesn't exist anymore and is maybe over a decade old).... I'm still waiting.

There isn't enough time to replace that lot. maybe 4/5 will go. we need about the same in and will likely get 2/3. It's been proven that we can beat City and Liverpool, so we just need to brush up against Saints, Brighton, Wolves, Burnley etc. and we'll get top 4 which ticks Levy's business plan and Conte's bonus. If Levy can't even do that he's an even bigger cunt than i thought already.

LEVY OUT

Basically ends City's pursuit of Kane right there. Also likely means that few, if any, clubs will now be in a position to meet his valuation so he'll be staying because he simply doesn't have any other avenues out.

Run his contract down, refuse to sign and he will be gone (unless something changes in the transfer market).

This is true, but I just have a feeling Man Utd could make a big move for Kane in the summer. When they release Ronaldo, Pogba, and Cavani, affording Kane won't be an issue and would get the fans back onside.
I sincerely hope I'm way off with this hunch!

United have always seemed to be the backup option for Kane when a move has been spoken about but I’m not so sure now.

If they offer him stupid money per week he might take it but I'd probably argue at the moment that we're ahead of United in terms of league position and potential to step up and win something, especially if Conte does stay.

Would he take a step back just to get away ?. I don't know, but I do find myself in the same train of thought as @USspur though in that he may well run his contract down just to get away on a free and stick two fingers up at Levy for blocking his move last year.

I agree with Clemmy that we seem ahead of United in terms of league position & winning silverware.
Conte & Paratici seem to be brewing something that is attractive to Kane.
Kane will also be 29 in July. I don't think he would sacrifice a couple more years of his finite playing career just to go to United for more money. The year's are too precious & Harry's ambitious.
