With a bit of a poor run of results, I knew the doubters would rear their heads be it here & elsewhere.

There are intelligent people on this site fully aware that success often hinges on a myriad of factors such as time to implement a particular philosophy & acquire players that suit a desired style of play yet the knives are out. Without the adequate time & resources, It's challenging to fully assess a coach's capabilities & potential for success.

Ange stated early on, the purpose of this season was to instill his vision / style of play & mold the team to his specifications. And he delivered from the get go yet he told the fan base not to get ahead of themselves as there was plenty more to work on. Our flying start raised some people's expectations to unreasonable levels. But the vast majority of fans are aware of what's involved & are willing to provide what's necessary: time. Levy has to provide the resources.

I get that the younger fans, the ones who've been raised on immediate gratification, have no patience but I'm surprised by the older ones.
The philosophy is flawed in the PL. If it has any chance of working ( which I doubt ) the calibre of player required is beyond us.

That was a long time ago, football has changed and progressed since then.
I'm not waiting for him to fail with glee if he does. I want what's best for our club.
This is about faith and I can't see where it's coming from.
I don't think it's about faith. You said yourself you'd have been happy with fifth at the outset. Realistically, he's done as well as could have been expected, but the run of defeats has the daggers out, which is I think what some of the others are referring to.

It's all recency bias, isn't it? If things were reversed--if we'd started the season poorly but finished it with 10 unbeaten or whatever, nobody would be questioning him at this point. He'd be winning over the doubters rather than creating them. It's just how it goes. He deserves some criticism but overall, I think it's been a good season and there is a lot of reason to look forward to the next one.

Just go away you pathetic little pissant.

It’s clear that you want the guy to fail. You’re desperately hoping for an “I told you so” moment to crown your sad little life.

I suggest you crawl back under that rock from which you emerged. You’re stinking the place up.

You should complain...

In fact, why don't you write to your MP...?

I am polite, I don't resort to calling people names, especially Spurs fans.
All I did was cast my own personal doubts over Postecoglou's suitability.

That did not warrant the response received.

Check the link at the bottom of the page - https://www.properspursy.com/talk/pages/forum-rules/

The annoying cunt (whoops I've just broken the rule, sorry) was right when he was whigeing like a cunt (sorry, did it again) about posts deemed to be aggressively aimed at an annoying fuckwit like him (yeah I know, 3 strikes now). Only total wankers read rules, only complete and otter dildobrains complain when the other children are beastly to them. Sorry, me and rules just don't get on. I try and follow them but then my brain says fuck that.
Found them...

Still don't give a fuck...

I personally don't think posting "Don't feed them pal..." contravenes any of the forum rules. But I am not a moderator, so what the fuck do I know?

To date, it hasn't been deemed to appear aggressively aimed at another forum member by a member of the moderation team or admin.

I guess if it had been deemed so, it would have been deleted immediately and I would have been dealt with, without delay.

None of that has happened...

Oh well, move on...

He's has had a whole season and still has fragile foundations and ill discipline amongst the players. Still has not bought in the players after a full season.
He's just had his worst experience as a manager for over 25 years .....at Spurs.....but loves Celtic.
He may not be a Spurs fan , I'm not one of his either.

Maybe the warmer weather has helped his cough. He could bark at a fan and even the players ......stop passing fuc...g backwards.
The fan he had a go at and took exception to was swearing apparently.

Here's an Ange stat to wrap your head(s) around.

He's set to become the first Tottenham manager to complete a full season since Pochettino in the 2018/2019 season.

Five fucking years. Half a decade.

Levy is a cunt.

Simon Davies has said that Ange is ready for some youngsters to come into the first team.Davies was talking about Mickey Moore initially but said we have a number of youngsters that Ange could be interested in, Donely is one I guess.
Fair play to Ange if he gives them a chance.

Lost 7 of his last 11 games.
Let in the second most set piece goals as a % of goals last season, only Nottingham Forest were worse.
4 points from 4 games , worst start in 9 years.
The good start to last season overshadowed by the rest of the season where we had the form to attain 52 points had it not been for the start.
