What can you say about that game? We were so unlucky, we bossed most of it, if you took the chav cunt goals out and watched the highlights you would never believe the score. Atkinson was a total cunt, how many fouls did Alonso have to make before he got booked, he should have got 6 yellows, Kunte, Willian, Azpill blah, blah, blah, Toby gets booked for his first foul. I don't have any complaints about the team, we were so much better than them, but that last Kane effort sums up our day, saved by the fucking backspin for fucks sake! Well I fell for that!

I thought we were fantastic, best display at Wembley yet and if we put in those types of performances next year we'll be fine. A couple of things, the ref OH MY LORD that man should never get near a football pitch again, not even sunday league, if he had had the balls to book Chelsea players for their constant niggly fouls in the first half I am of the firm belief the result would have been reversed but then we all know what a lottery refs are so we just have to take on the chin.

Obviously losing and being out of the Cup sucks at the moment but then I am so proud of how the boys performed I don't think I could ask anymore of them. Two big guns going at it head to head, someone wins, someone loses, today wasn't our day.

I stand by what I posted with the score tied, we are the better 11, but I think its clear as colin said that theirs was the better bench--they brought on Hazard, we brought on Nkoudou. I honestly don't think we'll see any hangover from this in the run in.

I'm too pissed off to offer much analysis that hasn't been mentioned already. We never get much luck against Chelsea at Wembley, our support was excellent all day, would have been good if more had stayed until the end...remember Swansea. I saw Jeremy Clarkson looking like an old dick with a much younger attractive blond.

The thing that killed us today and look back I've been saying it the whole season is not taking advantage when we're on top ,this bollox about son playing lb is madness everyone knew Davis pulled his hammy and wanted to play but medical team said no so not to be left out named on bench so he doesn't miss out for the final in the squad ,tripper came on instead and he can't even stand on his left foot you utter helmets.we lost to a team of winners a team that are worse than us but have won things ,the sooner that's reversed the better p

I'm proud of the boys.
No shame in what happened.
They played extremely well despite a couple of poor individual decisions that cost us two goals.
Quality teams capitalize on those types of mistakes. They're unforgiving.

The majority of people have been saying that Chelsea are the run away team of the season.
Yet we bossed them for such large portions of that match. We actually made them look rather ordinary.
It was a fantastic game for the neutrals. And who do you think they believe deserved it more?

Apart from the two 1st half mistakes, Chelsea had one corner to our 10 & they happened to score from it.
I think our personnel changes just prior to it may have added some confusion to the marking or lack thereof.
Hazard should never have had that much space at the top of our box. And we had all 10 outfield players in our box.

The screamer from Matic was simply brilliant. You're lucky to hit one like that in your career. Even luckier to have it occur in a major match such as this.
You could have added a few more keepers next to Lloris & it still would have gone in.

They were simply more potent & clinical around goal.

I attribute this defeat to the Football Gods. They conspired against us.
The evidence was everywhere.
And to top it off they provided a little giggle for themselves. I could just see one of them saying to the others: "Watch this! The ball will inch uncontested towards Chelsea's goal line but then I'll sprinkle a little magic on it from above and... Voila! It will suddenly backspin away! Isn't that just agonizingly wonderful?!"
If there was ever a clearer message...

But here's the thing. The Gods know we're good. In fact, very good.
And they have an even greater gift in store for us. But they want us to hurt first. They feel we need more time to experience disappointment & thus attain a bit more maturity & resolve in order to be well prepared for it. A dynasty.

Apparently as a sub davies never even warmed up.Look we could have changed formation to accomodate an injured player missing,a back 4,poch didnt want to, one fucking dive over a stupid going to ground slide (it was a fucking dive,but dele has got away with so many "wait for them to make contact and over she goes,we cant be too raw about it.Other than that what did Son do wrong especially?,we could have played a kid and they would have targeted him,played Jan or wimmer,who knows.Didnt work on the day get over it,poch is right more often than wrong so fuck the doubters!!

It's the media that bug me about all this.

They drive expectation levels to such an extent, that even some of more seasoned fans, start to believe in the whole idea, that if we don't win things in the next few years then players will leave and the manager will undoubtedly be poached away.

Now that might well be the case, but what the mainstream media provide us with is this idea that we have to win trophies now, and it's all about now with them.

They never look at the bigger picture, this team is still in it's infancy with a manager still finding his way. We are way beyond my expectations, within 2 years he's made us go balls deep into consecutive title races, regardless whether we drop off it now, we'll still give the Chavs a good run, I think we're too good a team for us to fall away like last year, it may happen but the point stands, we're a young side with so much to learn and improve upon, coupled with the fact that we can't compete financially with those around us (yet),and you can't deny we have amazing potential as a side. It's just great being involved in really big games with a side that has a real chance, rather than sort of knowing we're gonna lose, there's still a sense of that because until we start winning these massive games or winning a cup then there will always be doubts in fans mind.

It's just annoying that the media get in the way of giving space to build something, it's always bloody negative. Anyway lastly...I fucking hate the Chavs...CUNTS!! So much went their way yesterday!

Yeh, I'm still pretty sore about the whole thing. They scored 4 and we got 2 and that's the stat that matters I suppose. I got JJ's point tho, when he said to Lampard something along the lines of ..... would you not be disappointed to have played so well but to have lost the game? Totally got his point. Not so sure Lampard or Shearer did. Although lets face it, what the fuck would Shearer know about winning one off games.
