Tis alot of missing lads. I'd play that aurier chap instead of Trippier if he is gonna be suspended for the next league game. Will be an interesting lineup.

Aurier and Llorente possibly,and maybe Foyth in the back 3.Or even gentle Ben as left sided CB and KWP at LB??

Gonna be a true test of squad depth tonight, thank fuck we're playing Apoel away and not Dortmund or Real Madrid as we'd get fucking mullered with all them lads missing. I was expecting to see Kane get a rest and Llorente start tonight but might need Kane to start now as gonna need a player or two that can make a big impact on the game. Fuck know's what team Poch will put out for this one now though to be honest. Only thing I'd expect is Serge to start ahead of Trips as Trips will be needed at the weekend. We have an international break after the Huddersfield game so should have a few back after that.

Edit: Just remembered Dele and Jan are both suspended so fine to play at the weekend!

It's a bit of a pickle. The only thing I am absolutely sure of is that in a place far, far away there will be questions raised about the Poch's tactical team selection. I think Aurier is a no brainer, it would be a bit mental to risk Trippier when we will need him for our trip to Huddersfield, wherever the fuck that is. The rest of the team will be .........dunno.

Maybe though it's not such a dilemma, we can field pretty much the same side as we did against Dortmund, without Jan, Moussa and Christian.No worries, we just play a slightly more defensive lineup, come home with a draw and thump them at Wembley when we have a full squad to pick from, so tonight we play the classic 8-1-1 formation

We'll have to be a bit careful that nobody notices we have two goalkeepers, that's probably frowned upon, but if Michel and Hugo run around a lot nobody should notice.

I think it has less to do with faith in him & more to do with showcasing him for the January transfer window.

Hopefully he can find some better form while playing in his preferred position & help us.

(To paraphrase @Dorset , I think less of Sissoko than that utter arsewipe of a lowlife leftie lying cunt Jeremy Corbin, who happens to be on my tv right now. It starts off being for the many not the few and ends with opposition politicians being arrested in the middle of the night and not heard of again for 10 years.)

Very interesting. I would like to see GKN actually play football in a game that matters, he impressed me in preseason as did the two youngsters on the bench. What better chance to make a mark than in a CL match with so many of the big names back in London?

I reckon the team sheet is a red herring,3 at the back with trippier lwb and gentle ben lcb.But maybe I know nothing!!
Desperatly need 3pts here,will set us up nicely for the 2 madrid games.

Not that he had much of a chance on any of these goals, but I don’t think I can remember a weaker looking goalkeeper than Apoel’s. I don’t think he has even attempted to save anything.

This game had the potential to be a banana skin but Kane was lively enough to to make himself top scorer so far in the Champs league.
