There is a vacancy appearing soon in London. Are you free for about the next 4-5 years?

The fast train to Birmingham that is costing £60bn runs past my back garden and could do so much good by not being built, and that isn't NIMBYism, it's an objective appraisal....it will just extend the London commuter belt to Birmingham, not the other way around.
It's bloody bonkers innit? We've got friends just over the border in Somerset and they get dialup speed Internet, they couldn't even book a fucking ticket to get on this useless train, if they could afford a ticket, which they wouldn't be able to. So, Tories or whoever gets in next, fix the Internet and that will really help businesses and normal folks, we don't need no stupid HS2

Mrs D went up to the North East last week and it was about half the price of a train ticket, to fly up from Bristol, hire a very nice Audi for 5 days AND pay for the petrol while she was up there. Only rich folks will be able to ride the fast train to nowhere. Make train travel on the existing network affordable and that will help businesses and normal folks.

The roads are totally shite, I don't know why anybody bothers with a car in London, you could get to Birmingham quicker than driving across London, you wouldn't want to go to fucking Birmingham of course, but you could. Fix the roads and that will help businesses and normal folks.

Build a fucking road from fucking Yeovil to Bristol! The biggest town in the West and the biggest City, it's only 25 miles away if you are a crow but it can take 2-3 fucking hours each way. Dual carriageways are needed on the entire length of the A303, the main road from London to the South West. Don't waste billions on the stupid fucking Stonehenge tunnel, just build more lanes, it's only a fucking pig farm over the road and despite what the numpties say they are not 'sacred' stones, no fucker knows what they were put there for, probably just some King's rockery. I have to register an interest in that last item in my manifesto.

It is stark raving fucking mental that the DUP can hold the balance of power - 10 seats with less than 1% of the UK votes, while the Green Party get just one seat with almost double then number of votes! Caroline Lucas is the only party leader I would trust, but until we get a fair electoral system there is no chance she will get a meaningful say in the price of fish. If people were given two choices then I think a massive number of votes would go green, most people don't vote for them because they think it would be a wasted vote, and they are right under the current system.
Here's my 2 cents. Dorset's comment quoted is bang on the money for me. We desperately need electoral reform in the UK which has now been proved once again in the latest debacle in UK politics. Due to our current system I know so many people who are forced to vote tactically rather than for who they actually want to vote for - myself included! You end up with a combination of knee-jerk reaction voting and people trying to second guess who the rest of the country will vote for. My vote was against the Tories/May in the election, not who I actually wanted. This goes against everything that voting should be. I shouldn't have to be thinking about who I DON'T want to see in Parliament and should be who I DO want to see there. It's fundamentally fucked but largely unavoidable at present imo.

Not sure what voting system we should look to adopt as there seems to be flaws in so many but I think electoral reform would be a good first point of call in sorting out the mess. However, nothing like that, or anything else for that matter, will be looked at for donkeys as we have that fine big ballache that is Brexit to deal with. Now if only those cocks who voted to leave the EU had voted differently.. Hm have managed to leave that one alone recently and move on but still niggles all the same.

The current situation is a rock and a hard place with Corbyn/May. May is a completely useless, self-indulgent cunt who I wouldn't trust to clean my underwear properly never mind run the country in one of the most difficult periods. I actually love a lot of what Corbyn stands for and some of his ideologies (not sure whether it's just me being 26 and still full of dreams/hope though!). But in reality a lot of what he wants isn't actually possible. I went to uni and am now in a fuck load of debt that I largely choose to ignore. The idea of free education is incredible and something I'd love to see but fuck knows how he would achieve that. I doubt that whilst Corbyn is in charge of Labour we will see anything other than Tories (or a Tories coalition) at the helm. Shame really as, like I said, I actually like a lot about Corbyn. If he toned down just a couple of his fantasies and his own party actually gave him their full backing then I think it could've been a different outcome.

And now we find ourselves with the scum that is the DUP involved. How the fuck have we found ourselves in a situation where a bunch of mindless, ridiculous, dated cunts have an involvement on who wins the general elections! What a shit storm. If there was a vote for who you would want to form a coalition with your favoured party I'd be confident that Green/Lucas would rank very highly. Certainly not the DU-fucking-P.

At first I figured that a hung parliament was the best outcome of a shit show of other options. But now I'm not so sure. I'm not sure of anything anymore politics-wise to be honest - which is largely the problem arising time and time again recently.. Uncertainty.

Phew, I'm exhausted. Rant over.

We should start our own political party - call the NESPTIFM , 'not extreme sensible party that isn't fucking mental'. I voted tin a similar way, what I thought was tactically, against May who is an arrogant fucker. She has apologised to her cronies but not to us. Like you, although I would really like to see Corbin's land of plenty and fairness I did not want him to win as I think he would have bankrupted the country. His aims are great but everything has to be paid for. There are ways of funding things that the state should be paying for like education, but taxing the fuck out of everyone who has more than two bob and punishing businesses is not the way. Extremists, both of them, I don't like extremism.

Yep, The Green Party who are in fact the NESPTIFM, got more votes that the 19th Century haters that the Tories are now buddying up with. Caroline Lucas's party got 525,000 votes - that is fucking amazing considering it was pointless voting for them in 649 out of the 650 constituencies. The DUP got 292,000. How in the name of Satan's hairy bollocks can that be called democracy? A really unpleasant bunch of religious extremists who got less than 1% of the UK vote now have a major say in how our country is run, oh fuck off May just fuck off will you?

Electoral Reform is needed so we can have real democracy. Fuck all this Westminster bollocks where they have to be physically present for voting, which costs us all a fucking fortune, why can't they have a 1,000, 2,000 or whatever 'seat' parliament, that actually represents the people and use the fucking Internet to debate and vote like the rest of the fucking developed world does in real life?

I still think a hung parliament is the best outcome we could have had, I don't think it is a good result, there wasn't one of them available, but it is the least worst. And yes, if those lazy fucker 'young' people could have been bothered voting in that poxy referendum then we would not be in this fucking mess.

Soooooo this happened

http://www.cityam.com/272303/vince-cable-set-call-second-brexit-referendum-party

Liberal Democrat leader Vince Cable is expected to call for a second Brexit referendum when he addresses his party in Bournemouth today.

Cable, who was crowned party leader in July, will argue at the Liberal Democrat conference that the public must be allowed to decide on Brexit after the negotiations with the EU have concluded.

Read more: Lib Dem leader Vince Cable appoints ex-MP Sarah Olney as chief of staff

He is expected to say:

At the end of these tortuous divorce negotiations, the British public must be given a vote on the outcome. Let me be clear. This is not a call for a re-run - a second referendum - on Brexit.

It is a call for a first referendum on the facts: when we know what Brexit means. We know that our call will, of course, be resented by the Brexit fundamentalists.

The former business secretary is also expected to launch an attack on Prime Minister Theresa May for losing control of her cabinet this week after Boris Johnson published an essay on Brexit in the Telegraph.

Cable tweeted his disapproval of the cabinet fallout on Sunday, and today will accuse the Tories of falling into "a full-scale school riot with the head teacher hiding, barricaded in her office".

What no one mentions regards brexit or scotland leaving the union,is once a certain outcome is achieved, there isnt any 2nd vote to change it,that is OFC unless the desired result by the ruling elite at the time doesnt get the said result. So if remain had won, anyone care to honestly say there would never have been another vote ever for brexit?or if scotland was to leave the UK as long as the SNP hold sway would they allow a vote to reverse such? Was the same in scandinavia, when they voted on joining the EU denmark, sweden voted no,so within a couple of years they held another vote in which they voted yes,how many times have they voted on this again in the last 20 years,go on have a guess!!

In the EU out the EU,its all the same poilitician wankers running business badly, its a career to them not a calling to service.

What a fucking clusterfuck UK and world politics is at the moment.

The Labour party, who should be riding high in opposition to a fucking stubborn, useless woman without any mandate and without a majority are fighting among themselves. They are not discussing Brexit at their party conference, do they think it will go away if they ignore it? They are worse than what the cunts said about us - coming third in a one horse race! Any half sensible opposition could win a landslide against the bastard Tories, they are not even a quarter sensible so we are doomed to many more years of austerity and toff-rule- unless you are rich then you're OK.

The right wing Afd in Germany are going to win a significant number of seats in the Bundestag.

The US of A is being run by a mentally retarded child.

Boris Johnson keeps recycling the same old lies and gets the hump when he is called out for it, saying criticism of his published article should have been done privately. WTF?

Fuck this democracy bollocks, it is a really stupid way of running the world, we all know that the majority of people in the world are bigoted cunts, me included because I am bigoted against fucking racists, nationalists and facists.

AFD may actually become part of the ruling government as a coalition...

Just let that sink in for a moment... the Nazis may be back in government in Germany.

Yes the flag wavers here were duped, yes there is unrest across the globe right now but how can it be so bad in so many places.

This is obviously a symptom of world wide dissilusionment at being ruled unfairly. The vote against establishment in any form is unstoppable now imo.

There needs to be changes to how we are governed globally and a reset of the wealth distribution.

Gonna be honest the only way I can see this being driven forward is off the back of a good old scrap... looks like trump and the Koreans might get this following and dare I say the Russians will do what ever they can to destabilise the West.

Yep, as far as I can tell it started with Gulf War 2 when Sadam threatened/was going to move from petrodollar to petroeuro of course the US has been forcing it's hand in the middle east for decades to keep it's fiscal expansion happening. I'm not an authority on this, just got a bit interested and did a bit of reading around the subject, perhaps @Dorset would know more, he seems very clued up?

But then a lot of what he said was total bollocks. That's the problem with extremists, even when most of what they say is delicious marzipan, some of it is disgusting okra. Dorsetism is a less extreme version of Marxism.

Capitalism is not working, unless you are rich. When the 'civilised' capitalist world can show me the USA / UK or any other country where there is no poverty, no discrimination, everybody has adequate housing and good health care then I will become a capitalist.

Communism is not working unless you are a favoured party member, therefore rich. See above, same requirements for me to rejoin the communist party, yes I used to be a member when I was young and even more dumb.

The Labour Party in the UK, should be somewhere in the middle. It ain't. Blair was a Tory capitalist and fucked it up, Corby is an idealist who will fuck it up in the other direction.

Dorsetism is the only solution. Feudalism is returning, wealthy landlords exploit workers who are forced to work their whole lives just to survive with no hope of ever owning a property. This will be banned under Dorsetism, not property ownership like my buddy Karl wanted, but multiple ownership - OFOOH!!! ( one family owns one home). I don't hold with the bleating of the new landlords when they say they worked hard for their portfolios, fuck off, they didn't work any harder than the people they are keeping out of the housing market, they just got lucky and bought at the right time, funding their evil empire building. It used to be that 3 times an average salary (£27k in 2017) would buy you a terraced house, that's £81k. But good luck trying to buy anything for that, even in Yeovil down the road from me a home like this would cost around £170k, and the average wedge round here is probably £20k. In London you might as well not even bother asking the price. I hate the term 'housing market', homes should be for living in not to make money from your fellow human beans from. The big buzzword in politics at the moment is 'productivity', why is it so low? Well, why the fuck should anyone really give a fuck when no matter how hard they work they will be forced to work their whole lives just to pay the rent, which will increase as their wages do? It is modern serfdom. It must change.

I don't know what Dorsetism would do about the petro-dollars and petro-euos, my brain can only rant against a few things at a time. It is of course iffy that countries the US have barneys with like Venezuela and Iran and Russia all signed trade deals with each other that tell the US to poke their dollars up their bumholes? Is it significant that Saudi Arabia does support the evil Petro-dollar cartel? In my small brain Gulf War I was about oil, and US control in the region, the WMD thing was completely ludicrous as everybody knows there is only one country in the history of the world that has ever been evil enough to use WMDs on other countries in 1945. Just my opinion of course, maybe the USofA did liberate Iraq from an evil dictatorship .....no, even I don't believe that old gonads.

Petro-dolalrs and stuff? Dunno, it''s al a bit complicated I think, and the Euro will probably not replace the dollar as the world's currency unless the UK stay in the EU and join the Eurozone, ain't happening and even if it did would a federal Europe be any different form the US of A? As I said I don't know nuffing about this, so the official Dorsetist policy will be to tell the US of A to poke their dollars up their bumholes and we will apply a 220% tariff to any USofA product they want to export to us, especially their crap burgers and shit. Fender guitars may be exempt and some TV shows like Narcos. I expect the Petro-Renminbi/Rupee will eventually be the new big bully in the schoolyard anyway - that would fuck Trump right off if 1/3rd of the Earth's population took control, he wouldn't like that would he? The US will of course flex their big thug muscles to try and retain control, but they will eventually fail. All empires fail, the US of A empire is on its last legs, good fucking riddance. It will not go down without a fight of course and millions will probably be taken down with it, it's always been the same and always will be. Like the 'new boss', the next one will probably be worse and the young people left alive will be pining for the good old days.

Fuck, this shit just spews out of my brain into my fingers and onto the screen, just as well nobody reads it - what a load of old bollocks.

Well well well.....

Turns out politicians don't give a royal fuck who they tell fibs to these days.....

Now I'm not a royalist as I don't understand why I can't be king, but i do understand the position they hold, the job they do and the fact that they are a real benefit to the country even if it's just the economics of selling keyrings and tea towels...

Mrs May as she is referred to in this article doesn't appreciate the above or thinks she is way above the traditions that very much aid her economy.

I am pleased about this. I am very anti-monarchy, I really can't see how in the 21st century one family can be seen as better than all the other nice families in the country. If there was a lottery and everybody had an equal chance of being 'royal' then I might not think it was so fucking stupid.

The reason I am pleased about this is because I hate that Despicable May woman, and now the Queen lovers will hate her almost as much as I do. The Queen doesn't irk me much because she has no power, I can easily just ignore her and the rest of the biggest benefits scrounging family the world has ever known. But the despicable one does have power, she has no mandate to run the country - she told us she needed a strong and stable mandate and that was why she was holding the election, fucked that up big time, She is the leader of a minority government and has done a deal with the devil to cling on to power - now the Queen fanciers will be on her case as well! Nice. I don't think I have hated a PM as much since that bastard Blair.

It will be interesting to see if the mob support Boris the Liar or Mogg the 18th century facist homophobe, they probably will because they have proved how fucking stupid they are and will vote for someone off the telly, fuck the facts, they don't care about facts as long as they think they are racists like they are, the tick will go in the box. Brett supporters howling that Jeremy Corbyn would make a mess of the economy make me laugh my bollocks off, Brexit is doing a lovely demolition job with any help from that 'looney lefty'.

They all lie and twist facts, it's their job. People who blindly believe the shit they print and don't bother doing any checking get right on my tits. People who blindly support political movements and so-called 'alliances' because some of the things they say fit in with their bigoted views get right on my tits. We have this thing called the Internet, it is really useful, people can do the sort of research that only clever university folks could do in the olden days, but people are too fucking lazy to engage their brains and question what they are reading.

Question everything, look for a motive, find out who is behind your news story or alliance and what their aims are before you believe their shit and spread it all over the place using the muck-spreading abilities of the Internet. Fucking Internet, a two edged sword that fucking thing is, a great tool for education and a great tool for propaganda. It's a bit like butter, fucking lovely spread thickly on bread but the fucker makes you obese and kills you.

The flag wavers love this bloke, he will return Little England back to the 18th century. This is the sort of bloke they want to 'take back controll' . We seem to have turned into a self-harming country, cutting ourselves, eating to obesity and voting for things that will return us to the good old days of poverty and disease - not for the millionaire toffs like Rees Mogg of course, they will live in comfort and luxury whatever the fuck happens.

The cunts will vote for anyone on the telly, they don't care about policies, fuck policies, he's funny so we'll vote for him. Yeah so what he's homophobic, mysognist , not remotely arsed about climate change and wants to repeal the human rights act. Who cares that the he is a hypocritical twunt millionaire who controls investments in very shady areas including abortion pills? Moggy!
