The spooky thing is that Orange Ronny only scored 84 goals in total, then he toddled off, so the next goal Harry scores puts him in front in total goals as well as goals per game - I hate that measure because a bloke playing 1 minute would be classed as having played a game, I am a MPG ( Minutes per goal) bloke myself. Harry is well in front!

Harry Kane 84 Goals, 116 MPG
Christine McRonaldoFace 84 goals, 173 MPG

Harry is currently 40th in the list of top Premier League goal scorers, he has a long way to go before he gets into the top 10, currently in 10th is Teddy Sheringham on 147, but he is 2nd in the most important MPG list, just 8 MPG behind you know who @Don Diaz, soon mate, soon!

Top Premier League Goal Getting Geezers
Ahhh but did you know who ever captain Engerland!!

England striker Harry Kane, reacting to being made captain: "It makes me very proud, growing up as a kid you dream of playing of your country and being captain as well. There are plenty of leaders in this team and other guys are going to have a go to see how it feels.

"I don't think having an armband on your arm makes a difference to how you play. I will go out there to try and win and score goals. There are plenty of players on the pitch who will help each other out when the going gets tough as well."

People on twitter crack me up, the negativity is just palpable!

Harry answers to being asked about whether he would one day like to play in Europe...

I just hate the whole "Oh well, he's off" or "doesn't sound good" or "I thought he was a one club man".

It's just all a bit ridiculous, no one can predict what's gonna happen in the future. However, the longer we continue to improve as a team, which we are, the better chance we have of keeping him. If, and heaven forbid it doesn't happen, that he outgrows the club, then I will most certainly not begrudge him a move to a fresh challenge, as long as he does it in the right way (clears throat Modric, Judas),which I have very little doubt he will.

After Bales leaving I just decided to try and enjoy our great players while they're at the club and not worry anymore about them leaving, because they don't come around all that often. So it is with Harry.

Harry is one of our own,I dont see a campbell situation here.Dont think he would leave until we are in the new stadium, and even then,to another english club?id be amazed, spain?dont play a traditional number 9,and I cant see he lure for him.He is a home team lad,i would be shocked as it stands if he left,I truly mean that.

Whilst I agree with some of that I think he's fiercely ambitious and is now dedicated 100% to achieving everything he can in football, through that dedication. If We can deliver trophies then he'll likely stay because I think that's greater motivation than money, if within the next two years it appears that we can't, he'll leave....unfortunately understandably. He's iconic within his current generation.

I think it'll be at least two years in the new gaff before he considers anything like that maybe even three years as he's still actually quite young.

Obviously I dont agree!!Leaving for success thats the campbell/walker argument, cant see an english club stumping up more than Neymar which is what he would go for.Even citys sheik wouldnt give us £200m for one player? If we keep Poch,we keep Kane, cos I believe with him even with a hammer blow like losing toby or jan, eriksen, dele or all 4 Poch will turn em over and keep on doing it.If we play good football which we will,we will be chasing trophies. The argument before was no top 4 they would leave, next it will be dont win CL they will leave.I can go with that for outsiders brought into the club, not kane or king types though. They actually remember they owe the club in some way for their positions, which they do,its not god given talent, its money spent helping develop talent.Anybody believe Kane would be a PL footballer if he had come through any other sides academy?Late bloomer, nearly every other club would have let him go in his late teens, yes we loaned him,but never gave up on him.

Soz but unless we start building the team to win trophies... not the fucking league cup btw... he will go.

He wants and deserves to win the CL. He wants to gain parity with the other great players of today... Ronaldo, Messi, Bale, Neymar... Kane.....!!!!!

Footballers have about 10 years at the top...Harry has used up 4 of them so far. I reckon he will give Spurs this and maybe 1 more, by which time he will be 26. If we're winning things he might stay, if we're not he won't and he'll go with most of our blessings.

To be honest at present the discussion is irrelevant. Let's enjoy the now, the future will just have to take care of itself.

How about the complete opposite happens to what all the so called "sky big 4" media jack off bollocks wish.

We have Kane,Alli,Eriksen and the fact we have such quality and are doing pretty damn good with one of the top rated managers in world football, hows a fucking bout we have top talent knocking on our door to play with these players and instead of a mass exodus of the best,we continue to sign and improve, like the last 3 years??Its a damn sight more likely than kane, dier signing for man u or kane and alli to madrid. How come sanchez signed for us & not klopp or wenger who clearly need his services more than THFC.Or Llorente turning down the bald chav mascot to come to spurs. Its already begun if you look beyond, sky, the mail, mirror, marca and old media that relies on populist clickbait hits form RM,man utd fans somewhere in asia, africa, america.

Why is there no narrative about what Kane can draw to spurs?or are we all so pessimistic we cant see what has been going on the last couple of years.

I like your optimism and I have defended against the negativity for years in another place. I also hope that you're right, but there will come a time when winning trophies is all that top players want and the money of course (although probably not in Harry's case). If Poch, Levy and Spurs can deliver then that alone will attract top quality players (assuming we pay them) and retain many of our own. Unfortunately it is also a fact of life that players move clubs like people move jobs in any career. We'll just have to deal with it if and when the time comes.

If Dele goes there's a certain Marcus Edwards waiting in the wings. The king is dead, long live the king and all that....

I agree, how can you compare a player in the premier league with a player in the Spanish leagues? How many goals would Harry score if he was playing for real Madrid or Barcelona and playing sides like Accrington Stanley most weeks? It is nice that he's been nominated though, I doubt if he will win!

The so-called pundits won't be happy until Harry flicks us the bird and says 'bye bye, off to win trophies now'. Whatever we think most the media and the anti-Sky brigade and BT ponces, adore Harry-but despises the fact, that not only he plays for Spurs, but is happy here. There isn't anywhere for them to create or spin a story on someone who is so openly happy to be playing for the team he grew up supporting...hence him being one of our own. They hate it, we love it, so they'll create, mis-quote, take anything he says out of context to try and 'prove' that Harry is now 'bigger' than THFC.

If Harry does leave, which as much I wouldn't want that to happen, can happen. I believe that Harry is incredibly ambitious, and while I believe the club is equally ambitious, it'll just depend if all the pieces of the puzzle fall into place in the next few years that will satisfy both parties involved....in fact the same could be applied to Christian, Dele and Toby as I don't want to see any of them leave.

If Harry were to leave, I don't think he would move to another UK club, as other than for money, we have the same reasonable chance of winning a trophy as any of the top 6....well Man City seem to be in another price planet, but that doesn't always mean success. Nah, if he does leave it'll be to one of those Spanish gits or off to PSG.

But he's not gonna leave anytime soon, so lets just enjoy a master at work.

Honestly,if anyone believes Kane would leave whilst Poch is at the club, then there is no hope for football and fans of any club except maybe 6 teams in europe.
Extract from the Poch book Brave new world.

I know it was really tough for Kane at the start [when Pochettino arrived at Spurs in 2014]. We had to win over hearts, minds and bodies so that they would keep pressing and running up and down the pitch. But I refused to entertain any doubts about this being the way forward. ‘If you do it, and continue doing it, and you’re tired at the end, don’t worry,’ I told Harry and the rest of the team. ‘I’ll introduce someone else to do your job, but you can’t leave anything in the tank.’

Before I arrived, his game was a bit more back to goal, holding it up. Whereas now, he is always on the front foot, always trying to press. And if we have the ball, he has freedom to move around, not just wait for the ball to get to him. He has to be alive every minute.

This is how we’ve turned the team with the worst defensive record in the top 10 into the best defence in the division. And without playing defensive football or making many personnel changes. It is all about being brave. I love that word in English. We must display bravery at all times and, since mental preparation is crucial nowadays, we send daily messages to this effect in different formats and packaging.

I told the squad all that and then restated it differently by reminding them about when England played Spain in Alicante in November 2015. It was 0–0 at half-time, but 2–0 to Spain at the final whistle. The England internationals returned home happy, reckoning they’d given a good account of themselves in the first half.

I told them: ‘Excuse me, but I disagree, because at no point did you seek to take the initiative or be brave. Truth be told, it was clear right from the warm-up that Spain were going to win. The only question was whether they’d score in the first minute or the 90th, but the match was a foregone conclusion. Football is all about attitude.’ Kane was a frustrated guy when I arrived. He struggled to visualise his future at the club, with two or three strikers ahead of him. He was constantly being shipped out on loan. It was doubly exasperating for him as a Tottenham fan.

The club then suddenly hired an Argentinian coach and I picked up on his sense of resignation: ‘I’m sure this guy will bring in some other big-name striker.’ It was a tough few months because we didn’t click initially. He was out of form and, at 21, had the habits of a player in his thirties, the type who has been around the block. I had several stern conversations with Harry in which I had to make him understand that he had to get ready for whenever the opportunity might arise. Fame and a hefty transfer fee don’t pave the way to a starting berth, only hard work.

Harry was humble enough to listen and take advice. We put the tools in place for him to improve. The moment finally arrived for him. He played and then played again. By seeing his progress the boys coming up through the ranks realised that we kept our word.

Kane is a warrior now. He already was, but he didn’t know he had it in him. I’m not speaking about qualities or traits, but that essential mental strength to be able to stay in the elite. I believe he is the best player in the world in terms of mental strength, willpower and endeavour.

He is completely focused on his football. He has a house in Essex but spends the week at another one he owns closer to the training ground. He’s the first to arrive and the last to leave. He likes to join in when someone with different experiences in football visits. He enjoys sitting down with us, soaking it all up and participating in the discussions. At those times it is as though for him nothing else in the world exists.

And, at 23, [when the diary was written, he is now 24] he is as enthusiastic as ever: he enjoys training, he prolongs his sessions and he studies elite players, past and present. I WhatsApp him videos of goals or interesting pieces of play by other strikers. At all hours. The last one I sent was at 11pm.

One of the great things about our Harry is what a great sportsman he is. He lets the other strikers have a head start on him by not scoring in August, then less than two months later he's back in his rightful place at the top of the Premier League strikers list!

Just 12 more needed for Harry to become Spurs top Premier League striker, he's already way in front on MPG (Minutes Per Goal),even better than Louis Saha who got 3 goals in just 400 minutes of PL match time! Only Teddy, Robbie and the Little Man are in front of him in the the all time Spurs PL striker list.

Top Banana Tottingham Goal Banger-inners in the Premiership

1st Teddy Sheringham 98 goals in 20,678 minutes = 211 MPG
2nd Robbie Keane 91 goals in 16,925 minutes =185 MPG
2nd (joint) Jermain Defoe 91 goals in 17,299 minutes = 190 MPG
4th Harry Kane 86 goals in 9,785 minutes = 113 MPG
..
71st Louis Saha 3 goals in 400 minutes = 133 MPG
107th (joint) Paul Robinson 1 gaol in 12,304 minutes = 12,304 MPG

Robinson was a fucking useless striker eh?

Have you considered a move to Catalunya....St George is their Patron Saint - hence the cross on the Barcelona badge and they like a bit of independence, they're very Grumpy at the moment, perhaps stay in Majorca it's nice there, the King has a place near Deia and I had my honeymoon near Canyamel. There are some good caves too......they're Blue I think, although last time I went in them I was 8 and half and there were far fewer Germans on the island. Have fun.

For some reason not many german tourists come here, dont get a friendly welcome, probably cos they shot a lot of them and burnt the town down when they left.
