Brilliant, just brilliant, Juventus are one of the best sides in the world, they have conceded 1 goal in their last 16 games, nobody gets 2 against them - except us. Advantage Spurs for the 2nd leg, I would have been happy as fuck with just the one away goal, but to get two is the absolute doodahs!

At least Aurier is banned for the second leg
If there was a 'This is wank' button I would press it. OK, he wasn't brilliant but are you really happy that he is banned? Nah, must have been sarcasm or irony or that other thing.

What a fucking game, again! Gonna be another cracker at Wembley too by the looks of it. Great response to a nightmare start. Mousa bossed the game, was impressed with Lamela today too. COYS!

Honestly I didn't think we could get much better than some of the performances recently but that was fucking ridiculous. I can't believe for one moment that RM , Barcelona etc in their pomp went to Juventus and played them off the park the way we did tonight. OK, so it was 2-2 and tbf we pretty much handed them their goals but my god Juventus were completely punch drunk by the end of it.
Mousa Dembele, Christian Eriksen and Erik Lamela were outstanding for me but Dembele really was on another planet. I simply don't have the vocabulary to describe his performance.

Outstanding. That is the performance that will prove to be the making of this football club.

They won't get near us at Wembley.

This is several games in a row now that we've just totally throttled the opposition for more than a half. When you consider who we've played in this run, that's extraordinary. Just brilliant tonight after a very difficult start. Unreal.

I was watching the game 40mins behind and was utterly shocked after 9 minutes and then equally shocked after 90 minutes. I'm not sure I've ever seen such bravery, steel and character from a Spurs team, especially in the context of the situation, away from home against such strong opposition. It was nothing short of magnificent. I couldn't be more proud of the team I support. There were mistakes and we had some luck but that's trivial overall. This was a huge win, bigger probably than the last 3 in the premier league. I've just said to some others that I bet every other teams fans (except City ) wishes their team played like Spurs, and that says it all.

Can I please just reiterate.....

M O U S A - D E M B E L E . . .

What a fucking player... What a fucking performance...

He, at the minute is untouchable.

I only wish he was 5 years younger.

Echo all that’s been said, I thankfully missed the first 15 mins, so all I saw was us dominate a team that have reached 2 cl finals in the last 3 years and win 2-0 on their own patch. On a side note, I can’t wait to see more of Lucas Moura, just that 5 minute cameo had me slightly drooling, the burst of speed and the way he glides past players, very, very exciting times.

PS Serge Aurier, god that bloke scares the living shit out of me when he’s anywhere near our box.

For me, the chances that we created when they were sat deep in their box that we actually didn't score from were really something at another level. Dembele and Eriksen ran that game like they were playing in the schoolyard but a host of top performances to drag us back into that game and then take it over. A fantastic comeback, even more so at that ground, with that crowd and against that team.

See, here's the thing...in my opinion we can match it with every other side in Europe, especially in a one-off match such as a final. Should we get over Juventus at Wembley there will be some teams that wouldn't mind avoiding Spurs in the QF (hello Liverpool and Man United) so there is nothing to say that we may not wind up in a semi.....and then it is a proper raffle.

We would be unlikely winners but are not without a puncher's chance.

How great is this club right now?? What a result. What an effort. Dembele and Eriksen need poems written about them. Wow, that was a game of football. So proud to be a supporter of this group. Long may it continue. Now please beat Roachdale and Palace so I don't have to say mean things. COYS!

Style And Glory

Style And Glory

On My High Trojan Horse
In boxing terms, we got knocked down 2X early in the first round.
If we were hit with one more punch, it could have been over.
But we were able to compose ourselves, get our legs back under us, avoid those punches & started to hit back. And we hit back hard.

Imagine mighty Juventus, at home, in front of 45,000 of their fans, sitting back in their final 3rd & getting hit time & time again. As someone said, they were punch drunk by the end of it.
Not having conceded a goal in 2018.
Not having given up a 2 goal lead in 7 years.
Yet they were bloodied & bruised by Spurs in their own backyard.

It all comes down to Poch changing the psychology of this club.
They laid down another marker last night.

This team is awakening to another level.

I don't believe there is any club that wants to meet us now.

Nobody has even bothered to mention what a cheating bunch of cunts they were. They 'earned' some really dodgy free kicks with their falling over, but we didn't care and didn't even comment on it. Oh bollocks, I have now haven't I? So many fucking huge positives that the negatives could be totally ignored.

If we play like that on Sunday we have even got a chance against Rochdale.

Chealini..... auto corrects as cheating.

I was happy as fuck that it was that cheating fuck who Deli suckered in to a foul on the edge of their box for Ericssons free kick. Karma you prick.

I agree. Buffoon made some great saves and their defence for the most part was very good, lots of last ditch blocks, goal saving tackles and falling over to win free kicks. Nobody should forget that they are a really good side, amazingly well organised and every single player puts in a defensive shift when needed. They have an awesome record in Europe and the league, nobody does that to them, except the mighty Spurs. That highlights just how farking amazing we were last night. To come away from their house with a result like that has to be one of our best performances this season, up there with trouncing Real Madrid.

We have had a few wobbles this season, of course we have, but we are becoming a force to be feared. When the summer transfer window comes along there won't be many players who will want to jump ship and loads of top blokes who will want to be part of this brilliant, amazing journey his most serene majesty the Poch is taking us on.

Shades on chaps, the future is going to be so bright, so beautiful, bigly.

Yep, and that Crote Manzookitch, how many times did he fall over and win free kicks? Jermin Penis* got on my tits commentating last night, I think it was him, he seemed to be calling out Spurs players for going down easily but not the Juves. Maybe it's the new media thing, after the Dipper meltdown and the Dele incidents they want to brand us as Tom Daleys. OK, I get the screaming hump when Dele dives and I will always call him a cunt when he does it, but there was fuck all last night that was iffy.

*Sorry, that was uncalled for, J.J is a Yid and I love him, but I do get a bit garrumphicated occasionally, I'll take one my tablets and I'll be fine.

Sorry, forgot to add an emoji to convey sarcasm (or am I being sarcastic now?). To be fair, after Pochettino threaten to head butt him if he did what he did against Madrid again, not sure we will see him in the team for a while :D:D

tbf to serge,he was back from a spell out with injury,1st season in a foreign league/country and vs dortmund/Real he was excellent.Last night he wasnt so good, but neither was Davies which happens when you are away against a european powerhouse. They did ok,sanchez had a few moments too, people have written off trippier, davies, rose at times during the last 2 seasons, but poch will improve serge and he himself will get more patient, because when positions are rotated a lot there must be an urge to try and be the outstanding hero, and not the steady defender required,so I ll give him a pass for the penalty which was missed anyway.

I have to admit I was getting a bit shouty with Serge and I wanted Poch to bring Trippier on when he got booked, I could feel another West Ham away moment coming on. You're right both fullbacks had a bit of a tough time last night and occasionally so did Dier, Davinson and Dele. But everyone whjo didn't have a name starting with D played well. However this is nit-picking and being harsh in the extreme, this was Juventus away and 2-0 down after 9 minutes. Everyone knows all their records, so all of our players are going to have a dodgy moment or two. We were fantastic, need to go on though now and finish them off at Wembley.

I don't want to detract from any of our performance but does anyone else think that Juventus got complacent after going 2-0 up so early? seemed to me that they sat back, thinking they could score whenever they wanted and let us calm down and start playing, which of course then got us going to great effect.

Finally and clearly not everyone agrees, I think Jermaine Jenas commentary was insightful and almost 100% bang on throughout. I didn't like all of it, but he clearly knew what he was talking about most of the time, which can't be said for many of the TV commentators we have to listen to.
