What was that Chiellini was saying about a club with a history of failing?

Stunner from Ronaldo btw.
Yes what a wanker and that's the last we'll see of Chiellini as well, he's about 47 I think.

Good goal from Orange Ronny

Pfft! Lloris would have kept it out with ease and we would have stomped them. Real really dodged a bullet when we went out. Lucky shits.

And someone needs to add a whistling emoji asap!

City trained at Anfield today so the players can get used to the atmosphere.
Pep brought along a pack of 99p bangers, a Gerry & the Pacemakers CD, some curly wigs and booed Raheem Sterling any time the ball went near him.

Fans have thrown beer bottles, smoke bombs, etc at the City coach as it pulled in. Broken windows reported. I imagine the hubcaps have already appeared in a Merseyside pawnshop.

Yes, I could see city giving them a humping at the Etihad but not keeping them from scoring. I fucking hate Liverpool but have to give credit where it’s due, that was a sensational half of football.

It was pretty much a dream first half for Liverpool, I expected them to play that way but didn't expect that City would perform so poorly in the midfield, nor leave Laporte up against Salah - that's a hell of a mismatch.

This result makes City's upcoming game at home to United (with a chance to win the title) fascinating.

Shows how well we played at Klanfield,to dominate possesion, chances in feb.And yet it was all the refs fault eh.Citys press and ball retention were woeful, wonder if this will hurt their mojo in the long term.

I think the cunts are over rated. Started well and everyone believed the hype. They ain't a patch on Manure's treble side, The sums invincibles, or Chavski's 95 points team. Think the league will be much tighter next season too.

I agree, too many teams start 1-0 down nefore a ball is kicked against City, but you've still got to be brave like Liverpool were last night. Sometimes it's going to work and sometimes not (we lost 4-1),last night it did, also helped by Pep picking a poor team and having Sane as the only threat. Amazing noise those scum dipper fans make, like a madrid home game against Barca. Hope NWHL is like that. Second leg 4-1 to City?

Oh yeah and as someone mentioned we took 4 points off Liverpool this season, could have been 6...alright I'm exaggerating.

Should have been 6 pts,no really if Kane tucked the 85th min penalty away 2-1 that was it,we really bossed that game, highest % possesion by an away team at anfield since they started collecting that info. 66% to 34% 13 shots to 9,7 corners to 3 they also commited nearly twice as many fouls as us,just cos the ref gave 2 penalties that were penalties didnt make it lucky.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino: "It was an amazing game to watch - two teams that always try to play exciting football.
"I was calm because the team plays so well. The feeling is we dropped two points. We were much, much, much better than Liverpool.
"Both were a penalty and it is not controversial. Sometimes people complain about the referee, but when they are right it is good to tell everyone.
"It was important, the character. When you analyse the game, it was always under control despite conceding the first goal. When you analyse the 90 minutes, Tottenham were much better.

Fair play to Pool and Klopp, but City were clearly rattled from the bus attack. Honestly, I can't say I blame them. That was really way beyond what should be acceptable in modern football. In a fair world Pool would forfeit that match or at least get docked a goal or something. Don't really want to be making excuses for them, but I can see why they were unnerved.

No,like me completely unbiased !!

Unlike Herr Flopp
When manager Jurgen Klopp set off on a sprint of triumph along the touchline in front of Anfield's giant Main Stand as Salah put Liverpool back in front in injury time, he thought he was celebrating a win that was opening up a crucial five-point gap between his side and Spurs.
Instead, minutes later, he was left to reflect on the concession of a late equaliser that left Anfield enveloped in frustration.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp: "There were so many situations to talk about but the ref's decisions decided the game so I can't help but talk about them.
"I don't understand either of the penalty situations. The first one was offside and the second, I know already what the ref and his assistant will say. There was a touch, a little touch. But Lamela has jumped into him and wanted the touch and to go down.
"If the ref kept playing at that level then fine, but in the first half he wasn't giving fouls. Then for the softest touch of the whole game he decides it is a foul.
"In the second half we had to defend like crazy, they had to chase the game. We had counter-attacks, the high pressure was good and we put in some super crosses.
"We were a bit unlucky here and there but we had enough chances to win the game. And we would have if it wasn't for those decisions."

Ok clearly doesnt know the offside law and Lamela jumped into him, yeah poor roy keane all alf inge haarland did was jump into roys foot doing his ACL and got all that stick for end his career.

Someone pointed out that they are quite a young inexperienced side in midfield and attack,I can see why it could effect their mindset, but its never "their" fault so dont expect any sanctions against liverpool.

I know of a few City fans who are considering bigger revenge on the Liverpool team for their arrival at Etihad. Let's see if it actually happens though.

You can understand their mindset, but they'd be tarring themselves with the same scummy scouse brush, and may well just get a ban for the team. Be better just to win 4-0 and shut the fuckers up?

Yeah, I really hope it doesn't come to that. With City's luck they'll get barred from European football for 5 years and ward the cup to Liverpool on the spot. City aren't out of this yet.

Can someone explain to me what the FA have done as a eating punishing those involved???

So when stoke fans up the ante this weekend and turn our bus over what happens then???

Soz but this will escalate of mindless idiotic fans think they can help their team gain a few extra valuable points from intimidating the opposition in this manner.
