Liverpool just made the Final of the CL.
Arsenal has the chance to reach the EL Final tomorrow.

Question: What happens if both win & the final Prem standings are as follows?

1. Citeh
2. ManU
3. Spurs
4. Liverpool
5. Chelsea
6. Arsenal

I believe the top 4 are automatic qualification.
Arsenal would get in by winning the EL.
Liverpool is already in because of top 4. If they also win the CL does that mean the 5th place team (Chelsea) get in? I think I read somewhere that the EPL is only allowed 5 spots.

Good question, I think you're right.

In this unlikely scenario, I sense there's a chance that we may get bumped?

1. City
2. ManU
3. Chelsea
4. Spurs
5. Liverpool (CL Winners)
6. Arsenal (EL Winners)

It's basically irrelevant to us if Woolwich or Liverpool win the Champions League, as long as Liverpool qualify for the Champions League via league position also.

So for England, it's top four, three automatically to group, one to qualifying.
Champions League winner will automatically go to group.
Europa League winner goes to qualifying.
The maximum a country can have representing it is five teams.
In the case both the Europa League winner, and Champions League winner finish outside the league qualification places the place that is dropped is the one for finishing fourth in the league, and this would become an Europa League qualification spot at the expense of the lowest league ranked Europa League space.

As long as Liverpool do not lose to Chelsea, it is impossible for the forth place team not to get a qualifying place. They are six points ahead of them, with three games remaining.

It's pretty unlikely, I'm honestly hoping for a nice round draw on the weekend between Chelsea and Liverpool. Whilst not 100% at that point for Liverpool, plus 6 points and +17 goal difference is reasonably hard to break down in two games.

Basically what you're saying is possible, however it requires Chelsea to win basically every game this season, Spurs to pick up fewer than four points, and Liverpool to get fewer than three.

We posted at the same time & you with the answer. Thanks.

If that we're the scenario, Yes we would lose out.

At this point as well, Liverpool don't know they are going to qualify by winning the Champions League at the moment... Liverpool vs Chelsea is a must not lose game for them

It is in their interests to remain in the top four

Personally, I'm very much hoping Liverpool will drop out of the top four and lose the CL final, thus finishing with fuck all. Just for the giggles. Don't think it'll happen though.

Fuck that... Chavs to win against the dippers (gutter cunts) as the Chavs wont catch us... Win all our games and finish at least 3rd with auto qualification... fuck any other scenario.

If liverpool were to finish 5th is the only outcome that could shaft us if we then came 4th.All 4 league placings go straight into the groups,no knock out phase,so 2nd or 4th makes no difference logistic wise.

Win against the Baggies and we are golden. Would be ideal for Arsenal to crash out against Atleti and Liverpool to finish top 4 with Chavs outside. 5 EPL teams in CL will do us no favors when trying to sign players. Just win our damn games, boys!

But hold on....

1. Man City

Liverpool win CL
Arse win EL

In this scenario Chelsea get bumped and we are sound?

My ideal scenario now is..

City
United
Spurs
Chelsea
Liverpool

Liverpool beat in the final.

Reason being Chelsea are going to splash out regardless this summer, whereas Liverpool may be seen as significant if they win the champions league, plus would be hilarious not even getting champions league through fourth. I don't even mind their team I just can't stand their support.

Icing on the cake would then be Chelsea getting beat in the qualifier for champs league.

no qualifying for 4th place next season straight into group stages for all 4 PL teams.

Yeah 1-1 seems like a reasonable result all of a sudden.
