That's quite a lot to be offered tickets. My understanding was 40,000 were offered for Wembley and that the allocation was taken up. In addition 2,000 local residents have been put aside but only 600+ applied and I would imagine very few have purchased on the grounds of cost. So basic maths suggests that 3,000+ of last years 40,000 have not renewed due to location, cost or whatever.
Interestingly on the interactive 'Be There' map, it doesn't appear that 5000 'normal seats' are avialable?

Dont forget don,some STH´s will have shifted to premium in NWHL,but not 5,000!!some drop outs,some banned by club and so on......

We’re pleased the months of speculation are finally over and fans know where our team will be playing, and when, next season. But the confirmation also brought news that we would be playing our first home game at Wembley, not our new stadium.
Our prime considerations at all times are the fair treatment of supporters and the well being of the playing side of the Club. We understand the playing staff wanted to avoid a run of away games at the start of the season, and as supporters we must respect that view. But we also understand, and share, the feelings of supporters who bought highly-priced season tickets on the understanding they would see 19 Premier League games at our new stadium.
When the Club informed us our first home game would be at Wembley, we wanted to ensure supporters were treated fairly and given options. Under ticketing Terms and Conditions, the Club is not obliged to offer any compensation for a change in home venue so we were pleased to see an acknowledgement of the inconvenience caused by the crediting of one nineteenth of the cost of a season ticket back into each season ticket holder’s eticketing account and the option of not purchasing a ticket for the match at Wembley. We did, however, ask for straight refunds as opposed to Club credit and we queried the decision to credit 1/19th as opposed to face value.
We also asked for confirmation that all of the concessionary bandings available at the new ground would be available for the Wembley match, including the newly introduced Young Adult category. We are pleased this is indeed the case.
We have stressed the importance of competitive pricing for the match at Wembley and have also asked for a special 20% discount day in all Spurs outlets at the national stadium as an added incentive to attend, and as an additional gesture of good-will. We await a decision from the Club on these requests.
It’s not an ideal start to our new season, but it is better than many feared it would be! We now look forward to finally moving into our new home across the weekend of 15/ 16th September.

That’s amazing......they’ve obviously reached saturation point, also means a lot of the 40,000 must have upgraded to ‘premium seats’ and they have t sold many of 2,000 locals allocation. What’s left available to you? Just high price or back rows?

I would guess its a bit of a wake up call for Levy,having a waiting list of 70k isnt really what he hoped for,I mean its not inexhaustable the level they can push and the prices..

Some scattered mostly higher up,one row in the south next to 1882 pretty good view,but yeah limited if you wanted anyone next to you and a good view.The killer is the T&C cant move in the future,who wants to take a crappy seat for life?not sensible by the club.

I had a long talk with the ticket office who agreed with me that people's circumstances change with the years and that at the end of the season there will be a system in place to swap seats and price points.

Skiathos if you try and get a ticket near mine in 220 row 4 , or Liam , or Dom ,or Steve and Tony we can hold the ticket , after all , I did ok for Liam last year I think of the last 10 games , I sold at least 7 , ok not always Fav but rarely less than £10 under .......and I’ve already sold his Liverpool ticket ......also you can transfer to anyone you want

Between the lot of us in that stand I'd be pretty confident we'd sell the ticket every week. I know my Dad would take it a few times a season. As for selling my Liverpool ticket, I'll be doing an Archway Metal Works job on the gaff if that ticket gets sold.

@conor1 has also been offered a ticket. If @skiathospurs and Eamon both were up for it, it might be easier to sell 2 together for matches that they can't attend. Just a thought.

Had a look,basically all thats left is a pile of shit upper rows in upper blocks,which west&east are expensive and north stand half behind a tv screen.

Hopefully Harry get a few more against Panama then he'll be in line for the golden boot. First couple of games I'll be at and I think my Dad wants it off me for the first game I don't attend. We'll see what to do with it then. I intend to attend more games next season though.

Ok Yids, I need some advice here...
I just got "the email" from the club offering me the opportunity to buy a season ticket. Now, as most of you know I am a humble convict chap who lived in London for a while (I plan to move back some day) but am now firmly based in Melbourne (or mini-London as it is often referred as). I get over to Old Blighty every 12-18 months and with my wife's blessing these visits always coincide with football season.
The questions I have are as follows:
1) I am considering seating options up to around 1000 quid. I have no issue taking an elevated position, preferably in "the wall" in sections 402-403 or nearby. I am likely to use my seat 2-3 times per season on average and will be at the mercy of the fixture/travel dates meaning that this season for example I will be in London for Christmas (Bournemouth and Wolves) and my potential seat will be vacant for all other fixtures. Of the remaining games, for how many do you think I will be able to recoup some of my outlay should I on-sell these via the proper avenues?
2) I am also happy to explore options via you good people on here regarding games, especially where tickets might be scarce and somebody needs a seat (Arsenal/Chelsea, etc) and is prepared to pay me face value for it. I have no desire to make a profit on any games. I simply want to offset a portion of the annual cost. Is it an easy process to transfer match tickets? Can it be done online quickly given that I live in Australia?
3) How do guest passes work? Should I want to take the good lady or a mate to a match, how would we go about sitting together given I only have one reserved seat?
4) Is there any other relevant information that I should be aware of? If I can make this work from a financial viewpoint then I will proceed. Even if I can get half of my outlay back I would be happy. My rationale is that I will use the seat more often as I get older but don't want to risk not getting a permanent seat in years to come when it is quite likely that the wife and I will be spending several months every year in the UK (if we have not moved permanently).
I understand that the answers to some of the above are going to be based on assumption/best guess but any advice is greatly appreciated.

1) not sure how club will do ticket exchange but fairly sure demand will exceed supply so eould have thought you would get all back less a %
2) as @Wotspur said.
3) i would say chances are close to zero unless you can do a swap or tie in with others, i have 2 sets of 2 together i have access to that may not go to every game same with people on here

@Finchbee mate would you suggest I go for a slightly better seat then on the expectation that I will be able to sell many of the unused games back to other supporters? I am happy to put up the dough but I don't want to get stung.
I guess if I want to take the missus I can canvass the good people of this forum or always look for two seats together and pay for them whilst on-selling my own seat.
Happy to help anyone on here who needs an extra seat too, even if it means offering it up at less than face value.
