Much being reported the city game is mon 29th at wembley,so we are in to november then.

Lets be clear i am not disappointed at the stadium, not even how long it is taking, just the mismanagement of dealing with supporters, its not just a few weeks more and more that our " customer " support is taken for granted.

Isnt the timeline from the club something like this, and I dont ever recall in club statements words like probably, hopefully, possibly, perhaps?
At a fans forum with levy and Poch, not sure the month Levy said definately we will be in the new stadium start of next season.Season ticket and memberships priced advertised and sold and paid for or agreed terms in STHs case before end of May,still all home games at NWHL new season.
Fixtures released mid june,a slight back track, when we announced Fulham only at wembley and help from PL with more away games to allow 15th sept 12.30pm kick off at NWHL vs Liverpool.Cup ticketing autopay package announced a few days prior to 13th august when The Sun of all sources broke the story of significant delays and problems.Alledgedly a hasty board meeting was called and early evening same day the club announced the delay, and a further 2 league games at wembley confirmed, liverpool&Cardiff, this statement made no comment or commitment to a 1st fixture or likely date, just a grovelling apology to the NFL and less so to the supporters.
So mid june we confirmed mid sept, thats 3 months, after less than 2 months we confirmed a delay of at least almost another 2 months.I know as everyone points out its a huge project, complex, biggest private build in europe they say,but only Levy and the board told us august, then sept, now possibly??Thats a significant % timewise to be wrong, and still we hear more from the press than the club about fixtures.
They may not know, but they could at least be clear about not knowing, rumours abound that uefa insist on all group games at one staidum (they dont btw or so the press report) why isnt the club telling us this info?now we will play a possible home league cup tie away or at a neutral ground??neutral ground FFS what the hell does that mean,we are making it up as we are going along it seems.

And rumours about what this significant safety issue is,maybe they cant say for legal reasons about liability with contractors, but time rolls on,and nothing is told to fans except spamming emails about the new 3rd kit, invite all your friends and bring a dog to fulham tickets are on sale, poch can do the dele eye thing, jesus I am sick of deleting emails from THFC,and not one email about the stadium timeline, but then again I am only a pleb member and not worthy to be informed.Good job I follow them on twitter, click the link for urgent ticketing update but remember to dismiss the pop up ad for spurs shop before you can enter the site and read any info.

So now the daily mail tells me city game will be at wembley even with the date, the club is so behind in controlling the narrative, and I wont be upset if they tell me next march we will move in,I just want my club to not treat me like I dont deserve to know.Surely they have priced all the blocks for cat A,B,C now for general sale tickets, its like they are afraid to tell us still,I am guessing after ST prices its more bad news to bury after a video of Poch announcing Oliver Skipp has signed a 5 year contract extension.

People steadfastly saying its not Levy`s fault, well Mace arent the ones not telling me jack, which is all I really want. And I think its what a lot of people want, just a little bit of truthful information on WTAF is going on.Even if that means them saying they still dont know 2 weeks after the 1st announcement.
I honestly think it'll be Man United early January before we are in the place. If we are in with a shout of the title then and moving cocks it up it'll take the shine right off the place. It may dare I say it be better to wait till next season in regards to the minimising negative impact it could have on our season if we've already played half a season away, but then again it could have a very positive impact on the team too. So fuck knows.

Exclusive: Contractor breaks silence on problems as Premier League club prepares to unveil a new opening timetable
1856950_markreynolds_886100.jpg

Mace has broken its silence over its problems on Tottenham Hotspur’s late-running stadium with the firm blaming faulty wiring for the ground busting its opening deadline.
The news come as the pair met yesterday (Tuesday) morning to set out a new opening timetable after the club last week blamed “safety critical issues” for the delay.
Mace chief executive Mark Reynolds told Building the firm had discovered problems with the wiring for fire detection systems during commissioning and testing work.
He said: “Issues with critical safety systems were identified. This is linked to the fire detection contractor encountering higher than usual electrical wiring faults.”
And he said pictures showing an incomplete stadium, which have been published since news of the delay broke, were misleading. “Many of the outstanding external elements of the build are cosmetic and are not required for the stadium to open for the first football game.”
Spurs, which has been forced to go back to using Wembley stadium, its temporary home for the whole of last season, is not expected to unveil a new timetable for when the 62,000 seat ground will open until next week at the earliest.
Reynolds (pictured) added: “Follow up meetings continue to take place with trade contractors where the situation and planned timetable are being reviewed to rectify and re-test. We shall then be in a better position to outline the revised timetable for opening.”
Reynolds revealed that it only began work on the stadium’s cable net roof less than a year ago and has still not been finished. “[A cable net roof] requires all of the structure to be completed in order to begin…The roof was always scheduled as one of the last activities and is now due to be substantially complete at the end of August.”
Mace only took over the whole site last May, the day after Spurs played its last game at its historic White Hart Lane ground against Manchester United in the middle of that month.
This gave Mace just over 15 months to complete the ground with this phase of the job given over to building a 17,000-seat South stand and the erection of the roof.
Asked whether the August deadline had ever been achievable, Reynolds would only say: “We’ve always worked hard to achieve the quickest possible programme for the project. Mace and Tottenham have achieved a huge amount to date.”
Thousands of workers are still on the site with Reynolds saying that the project reached a peak workforce of 3,800 last month.
Reynolds, who revealed that he has visited the site every week since Mace took control of the old stadium last year, said the firm is carrying out the job under a construction management contract after first being appointed as construction advisor in late 2015.
He said it was the “most appropriate way to deliver the stadium” and added: “The details of our contract are confidential but are not different from an industry standard construction management contract.” This has seen Mace manage the stadium’s contractors and Reynolds added: “As such their contracts are directly held with Tottenham Hotspur.”

How the stadium looked at the beginning of May…
Reynolds declined to say how much the stadium was costing but the scheme is widely believed to have more than doubled from its estimated £400m original cost. But Reynolds said: “The figures quoted have included other works aside from the stadium itself.”
Spurs has had to cancel two test events at its ground, which will be the biggest club venue in the capital, that were due to be held this coming bank holiday Monday, as well as a game on Saturday week.
The stadium was supposed to open in time to host its inaugural Premier League game against Liverpool on 15 September but the has club admitted its game against reigning Premier League champions Manchester City at the end of October is also in doubt. An NFL game between Seattle Seahawks and Oakland Raiders scheduled for 14 October has also had to be switched to Wembley.

I'm pissed off at the minute about the whole thing, and having spent alot of money on the Liverpool game I am on the same boat, as I think Levy has been a cunt, more so than usual and is taking us for granted.

However once things settle I'm sure I'll be fine and waste my money on another next year. I did always say I'd see how much use I get out of this year's though and at the minute it seems like very little and I'm not going to Wembley as our home ground. That's not me being a high and mighty bell end it's just to much one day travelling.

So basically I'm in the wait and see camp ATM.

Pretty hectic way to feel considering haven't stepped foot in the new place, and I think that shows how much of a Fuck up Levy has made.

I dunno, it only takes me an hour to get there but it's the principle of paying for a ticket that's significantly more expensive than the previous one.

Thing is, it's £50 refund, but for my old ticket which is technically a less pricey ticket than this seasons (£770 plays £950)... and the £4 booking fee per ticket adds another £76 ... so I'm paying £1026 for a ticket in the wrong stadium, for a worse seat (as no seats are directly comparable) that cost me £770 the year before?
Jog on, Mr Levy.

They effectively wipe out the season ticket discount, and charge you 19 singles and their associated booking fees and you're supposed to be happy about this. There's a damn good reason I'm not partaking in Wembley.

Lol could the sun take the piss a bit more??? I actually dont mind this pisstake because time to put the pressure on the highest paid chairman in britain who is presiding over this farce,he set the timetable,he appointed people to build it and quite frankly Levy lovers at this moment it is a failure to deliver on promises. So laugh away sun readers!!

So, just a few 'safety critical issues' outstanding then? I don't think Levy or the project management team can be blamed for not being aware that the stadium would not be ready, looking at that video a couple of blokes with a paintbrush and the place is ready for business.

I dont dislike the guy making the videos, and in some cases my default when people start kicking the club, players is to dig in defend and fight back. But to say regardless the stadium is going to be magnificent and delays will just make it feel even better when we eventually move in,I say bollocks.I just feel more let down, lied to and disenchanted with those telling the porkys.
Maybe if chris bought a bespoke rolls royce or aston martin, was promised delivery in august, then sept, then november possibly the summer after,he wouldnt be looking forward to driving it even more,he would just be more pissed off at the service, money spent and lack of delivery.Because its the football club we love, doesnt mean that as they treat us more&more purely as customers,we shouldnt feel more&more let down as a paying customer would.Apologists for Levy on this matter are deluded sycophants, the man makes fortunes out of us,and defending him at all costs is ridiculous IMO.Its possible to love the club and think the person acting as custodian isnt doing a perfect job.Infact thats how you pressure them to do better,by expressing your concern and keeping them honest as best you can.

Two weeks on and still no clearer about what is going on,and when anything will happen.Or did i miss that email inbetween the 50% off worldwide delivery, can you do the new dele challenge and dozens of other thfc spamming emails.

Thinks it's come too far for that to happen now, any lenders with dough locked into this aren't going to let it go tits up. I'd like to think anyway...

I mean I know it's late, we can't afford it, it's not safe and floods easily, but it is seriously fucking impressive or at least it will be in 2031 when it's all finished and we're dead.

More patience needs to be shown by a majority of the Spurs family, so what if it is not ready? Has not affected the team so far and most realists saw this coming. These wiring issues cannot be known when they are making statements about the stadium being ready and all fans have been offere refunds.

The funny thing is, once it’s done, all this nonsense will soon be forgotten about. Too many people stress, worry and get angry about things completely out of their control.

What would be nice, is all the tradesman who are Spurs fan, and especially THST to volunteer sometime to help.

So what if we have to keep playing at Wembley, switching games or attending MK Dons, not many hesitate for an away trip to Manchester!!

I do not much care it's not ready. Get it right. Just don't make it sound like it is ready, then at the last possible moment tell me it's not.

That’s the complaint, nature of communication and applying in never ending emails for more spending from fans
