More patience needs to be shown by a majority of the Spurs family, so what if it is not ready? Has not affected the team so far and most realists saw this coming. These wiring issues cannot be known when they are making statements about the stadium being ready and all fans have been offere refunds.

The funny thing is, once it’s done, all this nonsense will soon be forgotten about. Too many people stress, worry and get angry about things completely out of their control.

What would be nice, is all the tradesman who are Spurs fan, and especially THST to volunteer sometime to help.

So what if we have to keep playing at Wembley, switching games or attending MK Dons, not many hesitate for an away trip to Manchester!!

I'd be on board with your sentiment but I'm about £400 down on a lie.

If the led lights are housed in behind the cladding, and this can change to any colour, could the whole "veil" be a gigantic message board?

Yeah, picture the above pic but with scrolling
Gonna be honest, when if it's not it'll be a sin. Imagine the naming rights deal Levy would have pulled off with a 2000 foot long 200 foot high circular billboard.

where`s the fucking traffic?its like some utopian dreamscape.
There won't be any traffic - Levy will be employing the magic Brexit unicorn and everyone will get on the new bus service which will whisk everybody to and from the stadium to anywhere in London in 5 minutes (after that have spent a pleasant hour or two in the luxurious dining establishments inside the stadium of course).

It cost more than twice that. The $700 million was the part that was publicly funded by the city of Atlanta. Also, it was delayed several times, but the delays occurred out of the NFL season, so it wasn't quite the fiasco Levy & co are struggling to deal with. It's still an amazing atmosphere for MLS (on television, at least--I've not been there yet).

I have no doubt that we'll forget all about the delays, etc once the stadium is a reality, but right now it feels like if my kids were told on Christmas Eve that Santa's fat ass wouldn't be coming until March.

Good news for Spurs in their quest to build a new stadium, as chairman Levy was able to announce that the club had secured the commitment of London Mayor Boris Johnson and Haringey Council in financially contributing toward Tottenham’s proposed new stadium.

Spurs had previously made it a condition for public money to be invested in the project, which will primarily be used to invest in the area around the stadium. The club is a major employer and business in the Tottenham area, and the project, dubbed Northumberland Development Project, not only focuses on the construction of a new 56,000-seater for the club, but also aims at regenerating the wider Tottenham area.

The total of £27 million in public money it will receive is a first step, but the project’s realisation still hinges on the successful acquisition of private funds, with a name sponsor for the stadium an essential part of any deal. A week ago the club already removed a 150-bed four-star hotel from the plans in favour of a college and more flats, as it turned out there was no market interest for a hotel of such status.

and here is danny boy moaning it isnt enough

Have to say firstly "its the mail" and also not one single up to date photo of the build was used, despite there being many 1000`s out there.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ing-entire-Premier-League-season-Wembley.html

Tottenham could be ordered by the Premier League to play their entire season’s home games at Wembley amid growing concerns that their new stadium may not be ready until after Christmas.

Sportsmail understands that the London club have taken up an option with the FA to extend their stay at the national stadium, with sources suggesting that the agreement runs until their Premier League match against Burnley on December 15.

Their next home fixture after that is against Bournemouth on Boxing Day.

Behind the scenes, officials are said to have warned Spurs chairman Daniel Levy that there could come a point when the club have to commit to playing at Wembley for the remainder of the campaign.

The Premier League are sympathetic that delays have occurred during the construction of the new 62,000-seat stadium. But the lack of clarity is becoming an increasing concern and a situation that key stakeholders believe is becoming unfair for supporters, opposition teams and broadcasters.

Levy was forced to apologise earlier this week after confirming that the game against Manchester City would be played at Wembley, a day later than scheduled.

The Spurs chairman stills hopes Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be playing at the new ground before December 15 and the extension of the club’s agreement with the FA — at a cost running into hundreds of thousands of pounds — is said to have been agreed purely as a safety net.

But confidence that the stadium will be ready this side of the new year is diminishing and if there are such delays it is possible there could be an intervention by the Premier League board.

There is likely to come a point where they insist that the venue for Tottenham’s home games is confirmed for the remainder of the season.

Spurs have already been told by UEFA they must play their home games in the Champions League group stage at Wembley, and the club are expected to discover on Thursday if they have permission to host their Carabao Cup game with Watford at MK Dons.
