I'm no retail expert, but I expect that the Philip Green's of this world would have used up much of that vast space with actual stuff to sell?
I'm sure there will be plenty of stock come match days!!! Kerching!I'm no retail expert, but I expect that the Philip Green's of this world would have used up much of that vast space with actual stuff to sell?
Thing is its still the same old tat,its not like besides NFL and a bit of nike??there is so much more to look at than the old shop, which would take me all of 10 mins to look round. But I guess for many tourist fans it will seem a wonderland, which is probably where we are heading.I'm no retail expert, but I expect that the Philip Green's of this world would have used up much of that vast space with actual stuff to sell?

I know some of you geezers like all this tatty bollocks you can buy to help line Levy's pockets. I hate all this future landfill bollocks these shops sell. I hate the profiteering, for fuck's fucking sake - a 50p packet of fucking wine gums with a Spurs sticker on for two fucking quid? Look at this cunt:

Eight fucking quid for something that will end up polluting the fucking Earth for thousands of years after you have floated the fucker in your bath a couple of times. mind you he does have a cheeky look, so I am tempted.........
Brilliant! I can get 11 goon rubber duckies as well and have our ducks give their ducks a good ducking up the back passage every morning!Get 11 0f them and float em around your new pool like rubber duck subbuteo!
Sigh..........Club Statement – New Stadium and Financial Update
New stadium
Since we last provided an update on the progress of the new stadium on 3 September, 2018, we have been working hard with the contractors involved in the critical safety systems.
Key contractors involved in the mechanical, electrical and safety systems are being supported with external resources and closely monitored by our construction manager, Mace.
Chairman Daniel Levy said: “There isn't an hour that goes by when I am not asked when we will be able to stage our first game at our new home.
“I wish I was able to confirm an exact opening date and fixture. However, in light of factors completely outside of our control, contractors missing deadlines and possible future unforeseen issues, we are naturally being cautious in respect of our timetable for our test events and official opening game.
“Whilst we are conscious of the need to keep pressure on our contractors to deliver as soon as possible, we are also acutely aware of how difficult the lack of clarity is for you, our supporters, to plan around games, particularly those at Christmas and New Year.
“In light of the above, and taking into account the restricted availability of manpower over the festive period, we have taken the decision to confirm today that all home games will be played at Wembley Stadium up to and including the game against Wolverhampton Wanderers on 29 December.
“We know the continued delay is a source of immense disappointment to everyone and I can only continue to apologise for this - it is a sentiment felt by all of us.
“We have not stood still whilst work on the critical safety systems has been happening and we have sought to use the time to bring forward future works.
“Our investment has been supported by over £100m investment in transport infrastructure which will see the stadium and the local area served by one of the best public transport networks in the country – facilitating the creation of a new sport, leisure and entertainment destination in London.
“The delay in the stadium opening has made it possible for some track and station improvements to be brought forward due to the fact that previously non-available construction dates have become available for works.
“We have no doubt when open that this stadium will be one of the finest in the world – a leading example of British research and development delivering engineering and technological firsts that will be showcased globally.
“I hope that the end result will be something that will make you proud.
“We shall look to update you again in early December.”
The Club will also be engaging with Wembley National Stadium Ltd and Brent Council regarding attendance capacities at Wembley Stadium for the forthcoming games.
so 42k season tickets, avg price say £1250,thats £52.5m 6months interest free borrowing so far, good deal for danny and joe,not so good for the buyers who have to apply to get 1/19th back at a time, and Cat A at wembley actually costs a STH more than the refund, this club really is special!!Why cant the club admit that they have bent the supporters over for an increased ST price and simply not delivered. They have conned thousands of supporters into buying snake oil. It's no more complex than that.
They are fucking cunts. I'm not in the remotest affected by it, but it's an absolute fucking liberty to all those who are.
I'm not one to cut my own nose off to spite my face, but theres some fucking huge karma coming back to the cunts responsible for this. I hope they are looked at by some sort of regulatory body or ombudsman because they have fucked thousands of yids for their money. Pieces of shit.
Levy can suck my stump the penny pinching shitcunt. This stinks of his tight fisted horseshit behaviour. The cunt.

yes. still.I still haven’t received my STH pack? Not that it makes any real difference. Anyone else still waiting for theirs?
Honest mate I think forget man u as the 1st game as well.It has been said by the club that after the 2 required test events its around a month to organise the 1st game, the club said yesterday that next update is in early december which to me would be the earliest test events would be announced. They arent going to just happen the 2 weeks after any announcement and with xmas met police&haringey wont allow 20k and 40k attendances putting strains on policing, transport, local services around the holiday period. So I guess earliest test events are able to be organised and held is after new year and then a month after that.To my reckoning that would make mid feb the earliest, unless the club spring a suprise test event announcement in the next month and get them done before mid december.I've been saying all along this situation shows how much of a wanker Levy really is.
He tells the FA or whoever, stadium definitely ready before season starts.
Why?
So when it's not he can say oh it's not our fault.
What's this achieve?
Levy has now put Tottenham in a position where we can use Wembley for as long as we need, rather than the whole season, as would have been the case had he said it wouldn't be ready at season start. This is obviously what he wanted rather than have an empty brand spanking stadium sitting for maybe half a season.
What does this mean for a season ticket holder like myself?
Levy knew fine fucking rightly he was taking supporters money on false pretences.
He has went from a tight fisted good Tottenham financial director, to an all out dickhead in 6 months for me. Shame really as it's affecting my general support, which is annoying me as I don't like having my pants pulled down (unless it's a sexy woman (or a stinking one if I've had a skin full)).
This latest update is about as transparent as the club has ever been, and it's about time. I can finally sit back and relax and not think about having to fork out for a last minute flight this side of the year. Doesn't help Sir Poch though.

It's cheap, easy journalism now. However we saw one of the consequences last night when the ball 'bobbled' before Lamela hit it. If we hadn't been playing 24 hours after NFL that's 1-1 and a big difference in the league and confidence maybe, if's and but's and all that. Same thing with the Pikey's match, now 48 hours after last night, when it could have been 3-4 days as per normal. This Stadium thing is starting to take it's toll I'm afraid across a lot of levels. I went to this game last year as well. We got stuffed way worse than last night, but it was in front of 80 odd thousand, last night I reckon 65,000 and there's no buzz like last year. The stadium delay has kicked everyone in the bollocks, it needs resolving as fast as possible.Finance talk about the cost overruns
