I had vowed that I wouldn't go back to Wembley but am starting to think I'm going to have to swallow my pride, stop cutting off my nose to spite my face, bite the bullet, come up with some more creative phrases, and head back there one last time.
I guess Mr Levy isn't going to be losing any sleep over my absence so I'm only hurting myself by not going to games.
It's a shame away tickets are harder to find than a good view at the Olympic Stadium (any good? No? I'll keep working on it) otherwise I'd support the team that way. Over 300 points you needed for the Wolves game this weekend - Wolves! I thought there would be tickets on offer on Twitter but nope, nothing. I'm considering just turning up and asking around - it's fairly local for me.

more often than not a couple of hours before kick off tickets appear on twitter,if you drop me a line on twitter i ll try and look out for one? for you.If i DM you if i find one you d get an email notification,but youd have to answer quick,they are gone in seconds,i can maybe pull a favour with a couple of people i know who will be up there?I reckon you ll def get one if you are there,just find the pub where most away fans are congregating.

Wembley games pretty much all go to general sale, don;t they? I assume I can buy as many tickets as I need in addition to the one that my membership will allow me access to if required (for the two festive games)?

@Wotspur do they send all tickets to the lead address?could be a problem crypt if you are travelling and they dont get tickets to you in Aus before you leave,its not stadium access cards at wembley this year,old fashioned paper tickets!.That just means getting wembley early and picking up from ticket office,may involve a long queue!!.If you need another membership sure mine is free if not some STHs here will be gagging to earn "ticketing points". If you get them just before the game you can 'print them at home' easy peasy. You can almost any game where the opposition are not going to sell out their allocation, otherwise it's restricted general sale, but I'm guessing you're on the database anyway?

I’ve sold my Boxing Day and 29th Dec, BUT almost certainly can get mates tickets for any Wembley game up to 3 , in the same area 140 and , as Dom says we can get any number of guest tickets

Do they post to the lead address still?he wont want to chance them going to australia as he is flying past them,its a real pain having to do ticket office to get replacements or do they post well in advance?

Did I mention my Aunt worked for grant thornton,not the purveyors of chocolate but the accountancy firm.Guess who they did accounts for!!So even when i was at school there were always freebie tickets who stuffy old accountants didnt want kicking around a phone call was all it took.Back then they were playing croydon fairfields hall,the rainbow finsbury park before moving onto wembley arena,then the stadium,then knebworth.First time me and a headbanger mate went to see them was the live killers tour,back then they were pretty more on the metal side when gigging.So we rock up all in denims and half the audience were headbangers the other half in evening wear,jackets,i remember women in fur coats.I was a bit worried it was going to be more good old fashioned lover boy than brighton rock.Shouldnt have worried,lights out,strobe lights start,freddie minces on in a white leotard to the fast heavy version of we will rock you followed by death on two legs,by then most of the suits and fur coats were legging it and left us headbangers in peace!OFC the tickets were pucker first few rows as you`d expect for a comp !!
He (freddie) Bon scott,axl rose the best front men I ever seen.

I fucking do not like Queen music. I very much do not like Queen music. Over produced, passionless, bollocks music. I likes my tunes with some fucking gonads. Beethoven, Rammstein, Marylin Manson, Abba and a bit more Rammstein. AC/DC? yeah, @skiathospurs mentioned them above, I fucking like them, except I have never got used to that new Geordie bloke who has been singing with them for a couple of years - I saw them at that shithole Entertainment Centre in Sydney, it was a fucking joke, the worst place in the world acoustically, almost as bad as when the quadrophonic sound went rogue at the Crystal Palace bowl , I think it was the Floyd, fuck knows I was so chemically unbalanced in the 70's , all that acid, and so fucking cheap. Talking about Hawkwind, I saw them loads of times, farking blimey, tripping while watching the Hawklords and Stacia was an experience I wish I could remember better.
As this is a thread about the new stadium, I suppose I should remember the weirdest thing i saw at the lane - Bruno v Bugner. Their music was pony, and the boxing was bollocks as well. I like my football stadiums like I like my music, strong and black. No, wait a minute that's coffee innit? Or its it just a random quote from airplane? Fuck knows I am a bit under the influence of alcohol at the moment, some really stressful shit going on on with the new house at the moment, so I have used the miracle cure - alcohol, to sort the fucker out in my brain. You would not believe how many times I have had to apply the spellchecker and reed this fucker for it to even be in fucking English let alone make sense, which it don't.

I never got to see (proper) Queen (too young) gutted, learning the lessons from that I've made sure I've started ticking them all off before they split/die so have seen in the last few years Maiden, Chas & Dave (brilliant) and recently Chic (amazing night). Might nip off and see who's gigging...
