I suppose the next milestone is Chivers' 174 goals, Harry should overtake Martin this season and go to 3rd place in the THFC Strikers list.Cliff Jones down to 4th in all time list?
Deffo always comments when he reaches another milestone, wants to be highest scorer in a tournament, season,he will have an eye on catching chivers then take on the next one.He wants to be our highest scorer, lets hope our ambition matches his.I wonder if he is actually interested in that?
Would love him to say he is, but it weakens his value when negotiating a new deal.
but but barca want him.........I don't know how serious Harry's injury is, hopefully not even a bit, but if he is out for a while, with Sonny gone off to Asia, it would be splendid if Llorente stepped up and banged in the goals we know he is capable of getting.
Personally I think he's played well in some of his late appearances, especially in knocking down balls for the others. Off the top of my head our late winners against PSV and Burnley both resulted from him winning a header, and we were inches away from a similar goal against MU. I'm optimistic about him, not least because even when Harry's OK Llorente offers a different option.I don't know how serious Harry's injury is, hopefully not even a bit, but if he is out for a while, with Sonny gone off to Asia, it would be splendid if Llorente stepped up and banged in the goals we know he is capable of getting.
yikes!!!
Yeah, he'll splash the cash for a Malcolm loan - whoops wrong thread, should have been in the Whoppers department.Fuck.... it's still January you know Mr Levy.
Joking aside, have to win against Fulham, the media would love a crisis story to dent us with,3pts sunday and the stories will go away for awhile and allow more time to regroup. He has been out before and we were fine,we have had many injuries before and we were fine,we were fine because we carried on performing and winning.Arse&chelsea play the weekend,3pts further away from either of those 2 would be a lovely calmer for the club.Actually a european game is normally a bit calmer than the PL so would suit Llorente,if we dont play kamikaze pressing,so CL is just another cup scenario now, luck on the day and all that.If you look at our fixtures over that time, all the PL matches are games we should win. Focus on that, forget the FA Cup, and put all 11 in our box at the Bridge and draw the Chavs 0-0 and it's job done! And people say being a football manager is hard. Pfffft! As far as the Dortmund match, just hope and pray. That's all I got for that one.
You know who will very cross with this don't you? Lucky he can't ban people now or you'd be toast!Hello is that Klaas-Jan Huntelaar ??
