I still cant believe it....i am more in shock than when we beat Madrid. What a team, what a manager and what a performance. Minor mistakes were made but that second half was brutal...

Place went mental on 2nd and 3rd goal.. i am in there somewhere

All the goals,Jans nearly goal of the year in this thread with south korean glorious commentary,my new favourite thing.

Tony Cascarino on Talksport this morning said that after hanging on in the first half, Spurs got lucky with the first goal when it came off Son's ankle. What the actual fuck?!?

I'm so proud of this team and manager. We've never stopped improving since the moment Porch arrived.

That must mean half the goals he scored were lucky !!

I'm still completely buzzing, probably because I couldn't see that result coming after the Carabao Cup, FA Cup, injuries, team selection and first half last night. Then Boom, Poch tweaks and we're worldies. Brilliant.

In case anyone is interested (ha ha)...I suggest Air BnB

Champions League Final

One other thing, credit to the referee. Not the most difficult game, but thought he controlled it well with a constant smile on his face. It wasn't about him, which is so often the case these days.

Just got back to mancunia and still buzzing from that second half performance. Jan was a different gravy at left wing back, great goal, great assist. Get an early away goal and I can't see a way back into it for Dortmund. Anyone know where I can get a link to a decent set of highlights?

Big credit to poch for the half time team talk, whatever he did worked wonders.

Apparently Poch did a video presentation at HT to show the positions he wanted and reaffirm his plan, which they hadnt got quite right.I guess he gave them the courage to go out and have a go and not be scared of defeat.Looked like he pushed aurier and Jan slightly higher and eriksen came deeper, meant we controlled possesion and lo and behold two goals from fullbacks crosses, one of them even getting on the end of said cross to score.

Right at the very bottom above reply is a link to each full half or the main links are 10mins highlights.

Yeah we looked much braver in the second half, and Poch likes that characteristic anyway - he said as much about Foyth. The other thing was that Dortmund seemed to sit back a bit, not expecting any threat at both 0-0 and 1-0. That didn't turn out well. Was very impressed with Sancho in the first half, wish Poch had him to coach - Bale-esque. Did zero in the second half though.

I saw some videos of the old highbury kid fiddler on bein sports, actually he spoke a lot of sense, one thing was 2nd half it was premier league quality vs bundesligue quality, our energy just over ran them,we won every challenge,1st to every 50/50,our energy literally ran them off the park.

The BTsports Jadon wankfest was a bit OTT,all pre game, during game even after match interview,TBH 3 or 4 mazey runs, but they spoke like he was maradona,Jan put in a better winger display. If they subbed him 2nd half I couldnt tell was he even out there??And Pullisic with respect to our rootin, tootin neighbors,Chelsea paid how much???one thing to look good in a slow paced 2 team league,if that is his standard,he will be on loan in belgium this time next year.

Yeah there were some complimentary comments from Wenger on Twitter comparing our squad with United’s kids of ‘92....

With Kane and Alli back and Dortmund needing to attack I can see us scoring an away goal and don't see the scoring the five goals needed if we get one away goal.

It was pretty simple stuff really...in concept anyway. Not so easy to execute but Jan basically took away any threat from Sancho by making the fucker defend. It takes some pretty sizable stones to do it as you have to push up the field and create your own headaches but Vertonghen is a thinking mans' footballer and put on a world class clinic in the second half. It is the best 45 minute lesson Sancho will get during his career.

The Bundesliga isn't really slow at all, it's more that so many of the teams have no idea at all how to defend or maintain midfield possession and so many of the games make the Premier League look like Serie A or La Liga by comparison. I think this could be a reason for why it's taken a while for Keita to start to be as influential as he was with Leipzig.

Keita looks pretty average to me mate. I might be proven wrong but I just don't see it with him.

I bow to your knowledge,i really dont watch much,as a league its so lopsided, they show the big 2 teams always and its just so much cannon fodder football.I like the way they run the clubs and league and not just bow to commercial outsiders, but the power of munich especially really devalues its watch-ability.I would add that leagues with out the competitivness are what are pushing a "euro league",because with TV money and oil investors king, there is a danger even Bayern could just become another great club in the 3rd pot of seeds like ajax, inter,AC,benfica. And those clubs and like PSG,dortmund need stronger leagues at home or they will seek it elsewhere.(IMO of course)
Good place to grow as a player, but only de bryune seems to have come from there and really made a mark, sane is about even par and the rest uninspiring, thankfully many at arsenal.I am interested to see how the 2 german sides left fare next week against liverpool&city, fair to say I wish them well!!!

Glad to see Graham Roberts giving a shout-out to Verts, Sissoko and Winks, they really deserved it. Sissoko and Winks are working so well together at the moment. My theory is, as the dearly departed Mousa's mortal body was waning, he transfused his midfield magic juices into Big Moussa and Little Harry before fading away into Chinoblivion.
