Probably not a bad set of results for us overnight, even though the Scum won.

Not that we really should be in the position where we are looking over our shoulders, but now we are.

I thought our international players all looked like they had man-flu at least, so to be on the safe side they had better not play in any of the international matches coming up. Long-haul flights to Asian destinations should definitely be avoided and Wembley should also be on the list as that is probably where they caught this bug, I expect it was brought over from Ireland by an anonymous bloke.

At least we don't have a game this weekend, so a bit of a break even if nearly all our squad have to play international games. Batteries need recharging, we need to stop sliding down that slippery slope.

It's a nice drive if you go inland a bit and avoid Tarragona. We went from Peniscola to Girona last Summer on bikes (with engines). Even better if you like a bit of scenery, take the back roads to Teruel and then Cuenca. If you don't like driving then forget the last three sentences and take a dip in the pool.

Hee hee, I always snigger when someone says Peniscola, I wanted to look for a house there but Mrs D said no.

Whilst its nice, especially if you have a house there and speak Spanish, having been for two previous seasons, you might have thought they'd be allowed to go to Dubai, or La Manga, or somewhere different? change the vibe a bit maybe. Anyway I hope it does everyone good and they come back ready to stuff Liverpool.

So I’ve just watched Silva the Everton manager berating the ref at the end of the Newcastle game, not content with that he pushes the linesman in the chest.

Let me know when the 2 game ban comes into effect will you? Thanks in advance.

Yep saw the same thing on MOTD.... I hope Poch pipes up, or the club make a public statement regarding the treatment of our manager.

FA shitcunts.

It's just utter bollocks mate, one rule for one and something else for another. The cunts aren't fit for purpose, it's a disgrace.

Full details of the cover up here, not a mention of whatever Dean said to make Poch spin on his heels and go back for more.Same as with the old bill, they have you bang to rights on something, but cant resist embelishing when there are 2 or 3 others to back up and cover up.

https://www.football.london/tottenh...en-reasons-pochettinos-touchline-ban-15962128
So the person they choose to make an example of, with an exaggerated ban for a first offence, is Pochettino. Not Klopp for two offences this season, not Nuno Gomez, no, its Poch. Just Fuck off and let the game be run by professionals, both on and off the pitch, not wankers that are just bothered by their own self-aggrandisement. Clearly Dean wouldn't know how to spell that either. Cunt.

Really would like to know what Dean said to them for both Poch & Jesus to be set off like that. Interesting that that has not come to light yet. Maybe Poch did himself a bit of injustice when defending himself by not revealing it. Then again, he's an honorable, classy guy. Was willing to admit he was wrong but Dean has not.

PS @Don Diaz - I believe Cunt is the answer to Poch's "you know what you are".

Player in Training.
You know what you are,
You know what you are,
You're an attention-craving referee who overreacted to being accused of pro-Spurs bias and have since taken against us,
You know what you are.

I agree with Poch that he deserved his punishment for not being fully in control of his emotions and setting a bad example to grass roots coaches. Silva should get the same or more, and Klopp (der Bekloppte) should be in jail for repeated slander/libel, whichever it is. But as a youth ref I've been assaulted verbally (and physically) by enough coaches & players over 20 years to be supportive of keeping things respectful.

Does anyone know whether the PL refs and managers get to discuss stuff outside the immediate match situation (before, during, after) when stress levels are at their highest? I hope so.

I read today that. The premier league committee appointing a new CEO consists of Bruce Buck from Chelsea, Susan Whelan (Leicester) and Mike Garlick from Burnley. Is it any wonder we get a difficult time from them....

While this seems a dick move by Cardiff it has huge implications for every players contract. If this is upheld why cant any player just tear up their current agreement and ask for a new one or a Ramseyesq bumper pay per play.

Seems awful under the circumstances but isn't there some form of insurance somewhere here, for non fulfilment. I thought clubs insure their players feet and all that sort of stuff.

Also good luck cardiff trying to sign anyone.Pretty sure if you pay enough you could find a lawyer to drive a bus through the paperwork, but morally, professionally I find this awful.I wish infinite relegations upon them.

Maybe, but between transfer to clubs??The optics are shameful for football, fighting over money,my perspective is that he would never have been travelling that day if he wasnt attending his 1st training session as a cardiff player. Its not like buying an egg slicer from amazon that doesnt arrive in the post.

Meanwhile we get Martin Atkinson for Liverpool and Andre Marriner for Palace.

I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure Mike Cunt-Dean (it's one of those trendy double-barreled surnames) hasn't reffed a top flight game since our fixture against Burnley away.

Yes there's no happy solution for anyone here, least of all his family and loved ones.
