Didn’t realise we had 4 Ajax old boys....Sanchez is also ex Ajax, with Toby, Jan and Eriksen. Toby tweeted that the Ajax boys were ‘coming home’ .....clearly strong affection still there.
Also didn’t realise/remember that Sánchez cost us £42m for a centre back. Hope that works out!!
Have you got tickets yet??? I mean I only need one, lolYes , when Sanchez joined us for 42m , the joke was
, “ it’s not the first time that 42m pounds worth of Columbia’s finest has hit the streets of North London , coming in from Holland “
How much were your tickets ??Yeah I’ve done early/early

My flight was £240, out of Heathrow at sparrows fart. Back same next morning. But accommodation is £0 staying with my Spurs Euro games mate, who lives there and speak fluent Dutch, we’ll get in somehow......
I’m also hoping I’ll get a ticket if we get to Madrid, lots of ways to get there, I like your thinking on cost effective solutions!!
Sure that will be no bother at allWell I can speak double Dutch ,,so if your mate can get 4 tickets , him , you , me , Callum and Liam make that 5 ,,and Eire maybe and Finchbee .....so just make it 10 tickets , it’s all down to you

If you're getting way too excited about the prospect of getting to the final like me, and forgetting we've got to get past a very very good Ajax team first, when Real Madrid and Juventus didn't, then here's some stuff you should know....if you're planning on going....
A total of 38,000 tickets, out of a stadium capacity of 63,500 will be sold to supporters and the general public (but you've missed that ballot it was between March 14 -21),with UEFA indicating that the remaining 25,500 tickets will be allocated to "the local organising committee, UEFA and national associations, commercial partners and broadcasters, and to serve the corporate hospitality programme."
Here's a breakdown of the ticket allocations
That all seems fair eh? not. Here's the pricing....
- Finalist: 17,00
- Finalist: 17,000
- General public: 4,000 (March Ballot above)
- UEFA, national associations, commercial, broadcasters etc.: 23,500
Category Price Category 1 €600 Category 2 €450 Category 3 €180 Category 4 €70 Accessibility €70 Youth Package * €140
So not too expensive then.........assuming we get only Category 4 tickets!! I guess this is why the club has so far earned about £70m from the tournament, when I say 'the club'....anyway I'm not moaning, we haven't even got there yet. But if we do check hotels, hostels, Airbnb or any accommodation of your choosing, via your favourite hotel booking engine. Yep it's going to be about £250+ a night if you stay out of town. Of course park benches and back seats of cars are cheaper. Or we could all stay at Casa @Dorset (actually probably not) and get the train. Flights to Madrid are extra.
Oh yeah finally back to the tickets,... You're going to need about 180 loyalty points, or be an Executive box holder type member to get one of those, or be related to Mauricio Pochettino or know someone, who knows someone, who knows a Russian that's a senior executive of Gazprom.
Oh yeah finally, finally, no ps. It's on Saturday 1st June - so luckily (and you haven't been told this yet) your partner has arranged a family BBQ so you can't go anyway. It's on TV though......as long as you've bought the BT subscription.
Happy days - football it's all about the fans you know. Anyone starting to think that this sounds like the Superbowl final?
I, for some reason, thought that it was 25k tickets to each club but 17k is cack.... The prices are kack too. Having only 95 loyalty points on a season ticket I've little to no chance of a ticket yet have been too all the knock out games so far, will be at the game net week and trying to sort out the dosh to go to the away game...If you're getting way too excited about the prospect of getting to the final like me, and forgetting we've got to get past a very very good Ajax team first, when Real Madrid and Juventus didn't, then here's some stuff you should know....if you're planning on going....

It's €500 a night to stay at Casa Dorset but it's easy to get to Madrid from my house, it's just an 9 hour bus journey - don't forget we lock the gates at 10pm so don't bother coming back after the match, you can't anyway cos the buses don't run at night time.If you're getting way too excited about the prospect of getting to the final like me, and forgetting we've got to get past a very very good Ajax team first, when Real Madrid and Juventus didn't, then here's some stuff you should know....if you're planning on going....

Sounds like a good Costa del Dorset it is!!!It's €500 a night to stay at Casa Dorset but it's easy to get to Madrid from my house, it's just an 9 hour bus journey - don't forget we lock the gates at 10pm so don't bother coming back after the match, you can't anyway cos the buses don't run at night time.

‘Kack’ is the new word of the moment, I’ll see you on Tuesday in Brown Eagle? And Amsterdam hopefully, I’m definitely going for the Krack, havent and won’t likely get a ticket. Should be a good laugh thoughI, for some reason, thought that it was 25k tickets to each club but 17k is cack.... The prices are kack too. I just gotta hope that loads of the ST holders can't for some reason go to Madrid and don't apply fior tickets to have any chance at all....
Gutted isn't the word.
Let's hope they send us a few more....that supply line is working a treat. This is a great story about our former Ajax boys, and how they progressed through their system:

Alderweireld, Vertonghen and Eriksen prove you never really leave Ajax
The trio all made their name in Amsterdam before moving on to greater things, yet there is a reason why Ajax holds a place in each of their heartswww.independent.co.uk
If he’d fallen over it would have been a penaltyDid especially enjoy that poser Salah hitting the post from 6 yards when he had to score.
I fell over laughingIf he’d fallen over it would have been a penalty
It’s not a major surprise is it. A large proportion of footballers aren’t that smart or the nicest people on the planet and then these days the industry gives them millions of pounds. Shit combination really, you end up with people like Suarez, Terry, Costa and the like☝ love that.... he is without doubt one of the biggest cunts in football
