A Numpty says something stupid and a lazy journalist publishes it

Interesting this, the title of this web page says 'Sissoko and Jannsen slammed by Spurs fans' .... that would possibly lead us to believe that many Spurs fans are slamming these chaps, when a plural is used like this by a newspaper that tends to imply that we are ALL slamming like big fat slammers, or at least most of us are! It's the Daily Star so, written by the numpties for the numpties I suppose When you read the article, yes I wasted 10 seconds of my life to do that, it actually quotes ONE so-called Spurs fane, it then draws this conclusion:

'And it appears that Spurs fans are already running out of patience with the duo.'

OK, using that logic it would be fair to have a headline saying 'UK residents want Brexit voters to be jailed for treason then deported to Trumpland' - it is a fact because I do want that and I am a UK resident, it is obviously OK to use a plural because proper journalists do that.

There are so many articles like this one if you can be bothered looking,

Why is Moussa Sissoko paid to play football?' - Spurs fans turn on former Newcastle United man ( The Chronicle)

Tottenham fans lay into Moussa Sissoko after £30million flop's AWFUL miss against West Brom ( The Mirror )

This is ridiculous, to call Sissoko a flop as the Mirror have done after 309 minutes of PL football for us is fucking bonkers.

I
like the Internet, but there is too much space to fill, so these wankers who pretend to be journalists, fill that space with cow poop spurted out of the mouths of numpties - or invented by the journey probababallly.

There's little point in reading this shit based on a few ignorant opinions. Luckily the people that know better like Poch remain unmoved.

The fans that share such opinions would sack players and managers every 3 weeks, then equally praise them to the rafters. They're oxygen thieves.

I sometimes despair when I go to a football game and hear what people are saying around me, especially what people say about how fullbacks are playing or positioning themselves.

Theres a lot of moaners at Spurs....maybe that goes for every club not sure. I ignore them when possible, however I did have a row with one tosser a few years back when Huddlestone got sent off for a foul against Norwich. This bloke was chastising him what an idiot etc. Etc........the red card was rescinded. He hasnt spoken to me since, tosser

Yeah it always seems to be the fullbacks that cop it the most, though with mitchell thomas, ben thatcher and tarricco i understand why.

Seriously its very opinionated position or role, should they just defend 1st and foremost or push on and over lap,the days of a FB just patrolling the half way line and cynically fouling anyone faster than them are long gone.

Yes, I think most of the criticism comes because as you've outlined the role in teams such as Spurs is very different to the old style 442 where the fullback rarely overlapped or underlapped. When you understand the role they are asked to play a lot of the criticism really becomes unfounded. I personally think fullback is a really good and exciting all-rounder position for a young player to aspire to play to.

My cousin who goes to the lane regularly knocks the full back quite often, even though we have Rose and Walker on the pitch most weeks. He also talk about playing 442 a lot as well, because putting 2 men in the box automatically means you'll put the ball in the box more often ennit!!!!

You should tell the Mirror mate, they will pay you loads of wonger for the story:

Spurs fans want Rose and Walker out (and Soldado II and Pochewocheetino and ...)

Tottenham Hotspur's long suffering fans have finally had enough - 'why didn't Levy buy Stones, he can play as a right back, we could have got rid of Walker then and if he had bought a decent striker who was not Solado Mark II, then we would have been doing much better this season' a Spurs fan was heard saying. 'It's all very well being the only undefeated team in the Premiership and only being one point off the top and being 2nd in our Champions League group and still being in the League Cup and having by far the best defensive record in the Premiership, but that is just not good enough, it's the same old Spurs, we never learn and we will never win anything".

The Mirror rated Ben Davies a 2 on Wednesday vs Leverkusen and Sissoko a 5.
I'll leave it there.

Really? That cannot be fucking true.
We were piss, no doubt about that, but I remember reading it and thinking wtf are these guys watching. But then I got annoyed for getting annoyed at reading the papers report and realised the fookers are just lazy bastards and probably didn't even watch the game. Think it was Darren Lewis who I don't rate anyway

I have a special kind of loathing for Lewis after he spend all of one entire summer trying to get us to sell Modric to his beloved Chelsea.

I hated him after the 125yr game vs villa at the lane,4-4 what a match and all the cunt could do was try&get BMJ the sack, barely a word on a marvellous game just a complete hatchet job.
