You boys alright? Calmed down yet. Easy win 😙

I thought Thier goal to take the lead was very good and to be honest we really struggled but at the end of the day we score 3 they score 2 and it's on to the next round!

Son celebrating right in front of me priceless
Great night to ride the Tottenham rollercoaster

Forgot... Fat moose is really fat! That lad needs to stay out of the cheese room and sort it out, no intensity what so ever. Aurier looks like a nightmare on the telly but in flesh he's even worse, it says a lot when you're hankering after Walker at RB.

Last thing, Dele deserves a lot of credit, he came on and took control of the midfield, really changed the game.

After S'hampton scored their 2nd goal (wish we scored one of those) they seemingly turned off.

We picked our game up which is encouraging but it wasn't without a little help from them.
Very strange. I'd be a little pissed if I was one of their supporters. The game was theirs.

Its quite common for games to be won in a 10min spell, you have to put results to bed when you have so much ball, create so many efforts or else a 10 min spell can break your spirit. We have been the otherside of this,we dominated united last year much like city did with us,but couldnt score,we`ve been undone with a quick blitz like saints too.Despite the poor performance one thing Jose got right was praising the spirit, our heads didnt go down,we went a goal down and just tried much harder, bringing on a couple of better players on the night.

We missed a Lo Celso type this game to partner winks, someone who can do the dembele role, strong on the ball to keep it,and be able to carry the ball 20yds forward attracting more defensive players to him opening things up.When we rely on son, moura to make the connecting passes ATM they are just giving the ball away too much, much better when they have one opponent to drive in to,space to run in behind to and get a shot off
Goals change games, unfortunatly for southampton, theirs woke us up,if i was a saints fan I would be pissed at throwing a lead away, but good as they were in possession, they got very open at 2-1,son,moura and dele can have poor games, but they can turn a game around very quickly with one moment.

Soz but fat Dembele needs to get his fucking arse fit.

Breathing out of his fucking hoop at half time when he has done almost fuck all for 45 mins.... he is second to every ball, passively pressing and passing the man on unchallenged (making his teammates work harder) and when the ball is dead he has his head down and is facing away from the ball clearly not wanting to be involved while he recovers....

Fucking 60 million pound, record signing, PASSENGER.... grow some balls you fat prick and throw a fucking 6...!!!

If he had half the work rate of Winks he would be playing for Madrid....

Yeah all the silly touches and turns are superb..... but they mean fuck all if you dont apply yourself to the best of your ability.
He was blowing out of his arse in the warm up

He is something of a cart horse. I am hoping it is just lack of conditioning rather than him being lazy on the track.

I'm really hoping he doesn't turn in to a 60m version of Adel Tarabt, no intensity at all from him last night leaving a giant hole for Saints to run through and on to Dier, if he thinks others will do his work load he is in for a shock. We can't afford any more passengers.

Did the new gaffer bring back Huddlestons Tomato Ketchup?

Soz but it's unacceptable for him to not be conditioned. Not match fit is ok after a lay off or injury but his conditioning should be 90% all the time.

The BT commentators said that he had had "problems with his weight" earlier in his career, I think in France so i can only assume that it's not just the TV adding a few pounds.

If he ain't prepared to get fit, then I say fuck him clean off. He is obviously talented but I personally wont accept passengers while other work their cunt off.

Bit of a weird one, almost the same as City at a lower skill level. Their support was fantastic until the 78th minute, ours was flat until that point because there was nothing to get excited about, the lads weren't giving us anything and as someone pointed out 'we were being bossed' everywhere, playing like a counter attacking away team. But as Maureen said (apart from the fact that he was brilliant....) it was an unbalanced team - who moves Tanganga to right back and plays Aurier in front of him, leaving Sess and Vertonghen on the other side???? We just didn't have the players against a form team. Equally as someone else said Dele changed the game, but the whole night they had more energy, desire and commitment than we did until the last 10 minutes when they were out of juice. We didn't deserve the win, but we got it done, same as Sunday and that will breed more confidence and belief. Have a few days off, get rested then get ready to beat Villa, which will set up the Chelsea game nicely.

Look forward to Lo Celso being back, Bergwijn eligible, Davies to give Tanganga a rest? and a fit Dele playing a full game. So wish NDombele would sort himself out, Could be brilliant for us, a Yaya Toure, A Viera, Gerrard Lampard type player. Sort it out Maureen, Poch would.

I think we'll beat Villa regardless and I'm sorry to say that Vertonghen looks lost out there... a bit of a liability. Don't know if he can turn it around, but he's in the same boat as Dier at the moment and that ship might be sailing this Summer.

Norwich City will be Wednesday 4th March. We play Wolves home the Sunday prior, @Motspur Hotspur see you and Nathan there..... you have to keep coming now!! COYS
